Deep beneath the Noctis Palace, Snowball opened his eyes.
The prison cage around him had been abandoned.
The vampire soldiers had rushed toward the battlefield after the war began.
Snowball slowly stood. His small body trembled. His golden and crimson eyes glowed faintly in the darkness.
"Finally..."
He looked toward the direction of the battlefield. The entire palace was shaking. Explosions could be heard from above.
Snowball glanced at the iron bars. He had been waiting for an opportunity like this. But he knew he didn't have much strength left.
His connection to the Lightpool was still weak. His consciousness was still separated from the core. And the barrier surrounding Noctis was suppressing what little power he had remaining.
Snowball closed his eyes.He gathered every remaining bit of energy inside his tiny body.
Golden and crimson light slowly surrounded him and the bars began to shake.
