Saturday. Lukas was currently sitting on a chair, thinking about something while holding a quill, but then he checked the time — it was 5 p.m.
After seeing the time he thought to himself, "Well, I should go start preparing."
After thinking that, he stood up, found his clothing, and put it on. Then he found his revolver and put it in his pocket just in case something happened. After he did all of that and made sure he had everything, he went outside.
After a few minutes a carriage arrived. A middle-aged man stepped out and politely opened the carriage door.
"Mr. Arthur?"
As Lukas nodded, he stepped into the cozy carriage. Then the middle-aged man closed the door.
After a thirty-minute drive he saw a luxurious manor and people were already walking in; most of them were nobles and some were politicians. Then the carriage stopped and the door was opened by the middle-aged man.
After he walked out of the carriage he looked at the luxurious manor and thought of something, then he walked into the manor.
After he walked into the manor he saw a lot of people, a very long table, and a second floor. Then he saw a beautiful lady with smooth blonde hair, emerald eyes, and a bright smile. It was Audrey Hall, and she was playing with a golden retriever — it was Susie.
After seeing her, Lukas walked up to her and politely said, "Hello, Ms. Audrey."
Upon seeing Lukas, she asked with the same smile, "Hello, mister. May I know who you are?"
Lukas smiled and said, "You can call me Arthur, Ms. Audrey."
After hearing it, a surprised look appeared on her face and she asked, "Wait — Arthur? Like the one who wrote Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone?"
Lukas answered, "Yeah, I'm the one."
After hearing it, an excited expression appeared on Audrey's face and she said, "I love your book. I want to ask: when are you going to release a continuation?"
A look of embarrassment appeared on Lukas's face and he said, "Uh, I am not sure when, but I will try to release it as fast as possible, Ms. Audrey." After saying it he looked at Susie and leaned in to pat her. Susie wagged her tail in excitement and he said to her, "Susie is a good dog. Everybody loves Susie."
After a few minutes he finally stopped playing with Susie and then he said to Audrey with a smile, "Miss Audrey, it was nice talking to you and I hope we will meet again."
Audrey smiled and said, "Bye. It was nice talking to you."
After giving a last look at Audrey he then sat down on a chair and began thinking until he saw a person in his fifties sit beside him, who then said, "Hey, sir. You seem like a kind person."
Lukas looked at him and asked, "Who is asking?"
The man looked surprised before answering, "Oh, sorry for not introducing myself. I am Viscount Christofer, but you can just call me Christofer."
Lukas looked at him before answering, "My name is Arthur."
After a few minutes of talking Christofer asked, "Hey Arthur, can I say something?"
Lukas nodded. Then Christofer pointed to Susie and said, "See that stupid dog? Yeah, I hate that dog. She is just so stupid — always excited like the world is all sunshine and rainbows. It's just so annoying."
After saying that he looked at Lukas, who had a blank face, which for some reason scared Christofer.
After ten minutes had passed, the ball started. Christofer was currently talking to girls until he was approached by Lukas.
"Hey Christofer, can we talk for a minute?"
After hearing that, Christofer looked surprised before he said, "Sorry, ladies. I will be back in a minute," then he started to follow Lukas. While they were walking Christofer tried to ask him some questions, but Lukas did not say anything.
When they reached the bathroom Christofer started to get worried and he asked, "Uhm, Arthur, why are we here?"
Lukas looked at him and said, "Don't worry about it. Just go in there."
Christofer hesitated but still went in and Lukas followed suit, closing the door.
Then Christofer asked, "Uh, why are we her...?"
But before he could finish the sentence, Lukas grabbed him by the neck, pushed him against the wall, and leaned closer.
"You bitch. How dare you call Susie annoying. You know at least she is loved — unlike you, who probably buys women with money."
After saying that, Lukas punched Christofer in the face with full force, then started to slam Christofer's face into the wall several times before finally letting go, which made Christofer fall onto the ground unconscious.
After all that, Lukas looked at the body and thought to himself, "Now what do I do with the body? Wait, I got an idea."
After that, Lukas grabbed Christofer and pulled his hand around his neck so it looked like he was carrying him, then he opened the door and started to walk toward the exit. While walking, everybody gave him weird looks, to which he replied, "Don't worry, guys. He just drank a lot of alcohol, so I am just carrying him home."
After exiting he found the nearest carriage and walked to where the driver was. He said with a serious face
"I want you to drive this body to the nearest river and drop it there. Do you understand me?"
The driver looked at him with a terrified face and said tremblingly,
"Uhm s... I... r— I can't do that. I am committing a crime here."
Lukas looked at him and said, "I will pay you five hundred pounds if you do it and don't tell the police. Also, if you are not caught it's not considered a crime."
After hearing about the money, the driver got serious and said, "No problem."
After putting the body in the carriage and paying the driver, Lukas came back into the manor and was approached by one of the ladies who asked, "Uhm, sir, where is Mr. Christofer?"
Lukas looked at her and, with a smile, said, "Don't worry, he is all right."
