There was a thunderous night lighting striking in the sky. The king and queen were fleeing from their palace. "Darling, we need to go; it's no longer safe," claimed the king. "I know, just trying to reminisce," said the queen while holding her baby. The baby boy looked at his mother and cooed. The queen looked at her baby, smiled, and carried him.
"We must get to the secret hangar at the edge of the island if we want to escape your majesties," Tyshira told them, and so they hurried and ran. "Where are they? We need to find the traitors!" yelled a guard. "Look through the castle, they need to be here!" yelled another guard.
The new king was getting tired of this senseless scouting, "I'm going to look for them better than you senseless bafoons." He walked out of the throne with steps that shook the room.
"Prepare the airship, we need to find them. I need the queen alive, the king Qalzrin, leave him to me." as he smiled cruelly. He and a few guards entered their airship and flew around the surrounding area. The previous monarchs are in the forest closer to the edge of the island.
"We're almost there, your majesty." Tyshira tried to calm them. Shortly after, the new king's airship flew by and started to shoot at them. They screamed in fear while the baby was crying in his mother's arms. Then the new king was standing at the hangar door with a megaphone.
"King Qalzrin, surrender now, and your death will be quick!" he said. The king, queen, and Tyshira stopped in their tracks, looking up. Qalzrin snarled at him, "Honey, you need to go take our son and head to the continent," Qalzrin told.
"I can't leave you here in his claws," he said, looking at him. Qalzrin placed his forehead on hers and smiled at her. He then let go of her and looked at his son. "Alaric, you'll be our legacy, so please, when you grow up don't feel pressured." as he placed his hand over Alaric's head, he laughed a bit. The Qalzrin walked towards the airship.
He stared down the new king, "You will not have my family!" Qalzrin shouted and unleashed his power. Waves of light surrounded him and transformed into a white dragon with golden horns and claws, with two sets of wings, and heroared.
"Tsk, not impressed Qalzrin, you always pulled that move when we were younger." claimed the new king.
Then the king jumped off and flew at Qalzrin. Qalzrin shot a blast of white energy at the new king but he dodged it. Then the new king clenched his fist, dark energy emanating from it. He flew at Qalzrin and punched his chest and a cracking sound could be heard.
Then the energy went through his chest, Qalzrin fell to the ground limp from the impact and lost his life. "NO!" shouted the queen. Then the new king landed near the queen and Tyshira.
"Give me the baby now!" he shouted. Then the queen handed Alaric to Tyshira. "Go take my son and take care of him". "But your majesty?" Tyshira was stunned. "Take him, Now!" the queen claimed, and then Tyshira went to the edge.
The guards had already captured the queen, the new king walked towards Tyshira, she looked over the edge, looked back, and just glared and jumped off the edge. "NO!" the new king shouted and ran to the edge.
Then an airship came up and flew away. "Shoot that ship down!" he shouted in a communicator. The other airship made pursuit, but the other one used a cloaking mechanism. "Sir, we lost the ship, it's gone." said the pilot. The new king punched a tree and walked towards the queen.
"Where is she going with the child?" he asked the queen. She just spat on his show, then he backslapped her with his hand. "For that, you'll be punished. Take her away." he signals the guards. He looks back to the sky and snarls and leaves.
After a few hours, the ship lands near a bay in the Atlantic Ocean and she steps out through the hangar door. She looked around the area to see if it's safe. "Well, young prince, this is our new home. Hopefully, I can take care of you and if not, there might be a family who will take you in."
Alaric cooed and laughed. She stepped out and made sure the airship was hidden before she left and walked around the beach, not knowing what this new world would offer or if it will be safe.
