With nelly approaching first and speaking up as she looks towards the commander, "Dad asked me tk support you, as the enemy seems like a hard nut to crack this time around."
With the commander nodding, "General Rommel is a real understanding man."
Meanwhile behind lena prima says something but her voice was seemingly to soft and quiet to be heard, "Hello..."
Meanwhile with arms on her hips lena walks up next to nelly, "teaming up with Zoe again...? Looks like we're all gonna have a tough time." Said with a slight smirk.
While zoe pipes back, "Same to you! Things always get nasty each time i team up with you." (ノ｀△´)ノ
As i see the commander sigh, with nelly shaking her head.
Seems like those two bickering is a normal occurance whenever those two are near each other.
With an attention grabbing clap, the commander starts speaking, "alright you two enough of that, we have a mission to accomplish so let's get moving quickly." As he then looks at both of me and just motions to follow as i nod with both bodies.
...after a bit more walking we arrive at the periphery of the seigfried research institute, by a small hill.
With the commander peeking over with a telescope, "Look over there, beast tanks." As he hands over the scope to nelly and points.
With a nod, nelly takes it and peeks through and towards where the commander pointed at, "Yeah, as the information indicates, the research institute looks like it had been occupied by beast tanksfor quite a while." As she then hands the scope back to the commander.
"Why didn't they send out an SOS?"
(・_・?) Pipes in zoe, while peeking over the crest of the small hill we are behind on.
And with a sigh the commander answers, "Zoe, That's why we are here..."
"Oh..." (・.・;)
As i then see nelly nodding, "we need to clear out the surrounding beast tanks."
Getting a nod from everyone. As the commander then turns to both of me. "You two, while the previous incident was good you better stick close to me for this one. We are in open ground with not much cover here. And we still need to cover quite a bit before we get to the research institute."
As i both of me looks at myself and nods, "can i suggest something though?"
As the commander raises an eyebrow thats definetly hidden under the "hentai protag style hair that covers the eyes" bangs, "what is it then?"
As i look at myselfs again then back to him, "is it possible for me to scavenge from the fallen beast tanks then? The test coon? Like what we did before"
I nod with johan, "it's a just in case of a 'what if' we do get into a predicament, just as a peace of mind for us atleast."
As the commander then looks at nelly, who also thinks for a bit before nodding, "alright, we will see what we can do. Zoya thats your expertise."
As zoya nods then looks at both of me, "don't worry, with how you handled that scrap from before i'd be happy to know you two are atleast thinking of arming yourselfs for protection." As she then eyes the commander, "unlike our commander here haha!" Causing the group to stifle some laughter.
with a sigh, the commander sets the mood and gets serious, "alright enough of that, we still need to clear out the beast tanks on our way regardless. So you two might probably salvage something usable from those. Lets move out."
As with a nod from nelly, she orders her team to move out aswell.
...after fighting off a group of wandering beast tanks, zoe asks a weird question.
"Uhh... is it just me? Or did i just hear one of the beast tanks talk? I thought i heard one of the Archimedes yelling something like 'hell'."

"Not only did it talk, but look." As the commander then points to the ground nearby one of the other beast tank gorrilas.
"HELP" written in the dirt although its as if a toddler wrote it.
Meanwhile zoya rips out a turret from one of the cannon variants of an defeated test coon, as i then point to the cannon itself and asks zoya if she can safly separate and remove it from the turret, while i gather the shells inside the turret.
And with a nod zoya wrenches the cannon off of its mount and handing the cannon to anastasia, "here you go anastasia, you sure you can carry that? You havent been augmented yet so it might be quite heavy."
I shake my head, "no, it's actually not that heavy. Its more the weight of an light machinegun actually."
"And besides she just needs to shoot, im the one carrying the shells and loading the gun for her."
zoya nods,"Alright lets had back to the group, we can probably scavenge some more shells if you two are running out."
As both of me nod while carrying the cannon and the shells.
Meanwhile back at the group, everyone is silent.
With nelly inspecting the dirt writing, "it definetly dosent look like the hand writing of a human being thats for sure unless if it was a kid who did it, so does this mean thst the beast tank wrote it?"
As me and zoya finally aproaches the group and spotting the odd silence, as we look at each other then back at the group and spotting the writing that they are all looking at.
As the "three" of us seem to understand what the silence entails.
With zoya cutting the silence with a cough, "we're back, anastasia got the gun and johan has the ammo for it. Luckily he thought ahead and brought a durable backpack." As she slaps the back of me somewhat hard knocking me somewhat off balance but i manage to recover.
