"Loading successful!"
The golden light dissipated, and large characters flashing with seven-colored light appeared before Alex.
Alex stopped smiling and began to carefully study the cheat, or rather, the golden finger, that would accompany him throughout his life in another world.
Combat, farming? No matter what it was, Alex felt he could handle it. Alex's confidence began to swell.
As the golden light dissipated, Alex's Vision returned to normal, except for a phone-shaped icon in the upper left corner of his Vision.
Alex reached out to grab it, and unexpectedly, his empty right hand produced what looked like data fragments, large patches of dark blue small squares flowing in his hand. In just a few seconds, they converged into a dark blue, starry-sky-themed phone.
"Hmm? Wow!" Alex's mouth curved slightly. Not bad, it actually turned into a phone.
Good, at least he could have a phone to play with in another world.
He just didn't know if it could connect to the internet, or if there were games to play inside. A mobile phone start was also fine, Alex had seen many such tropes.
At worst, he could shop, acting as a "material" transporter!
Thinking this, Alex pressed the phone's power button. The black screen immediately lit up, but it was somewhat different from the normal phone interface Alex had imagined.
On the phone screen's blue starry sky background, only the time "11:33" was displayed; there was no date or weather!
Then, at the top, there were just two app icons: Character, Backpack.
That's it? That's all?
This phone system was too clean, there wasn't even a settings option. Alex broke out in a sweat, then curiously tapped the Character icon first to take a look...
Character: AlexAge: 17 (?)Rank: One StarVision: Aether (Requires Rank Up)
Wait, wait. Hold on a second.
Alex rubbed his eyes, but when he looked again, it still said Vision.
Alex's heartbeat instantly quickened, and his body trembled with excitement. An excited heart, trembling hands.
Why is it Vision? This shouldn't be a template from another world using the original game, right?
Could it be that this really is the world of Teyvat! Is it, is it?!
Alex carefully recalled all the scenes he had seen before, then quickly walked out of the staircase.
As soon as he stepped out, a huge mechanical sphere was operating in a large pool. This was a familiar building, plus the several landmarks he had seen before.
This seems to be Fontaine!!!
Ohhh! Alex felt super happy. Is this some fantasy paradise? Another world is one thing, but it's actually a game world. And it's the game world of Genshin Impact, which he loved to play before transmigrating!
Alex couldn't help but slap himself twice again. His face hurt, and his hands hurt. But his brain and heart didn't feel any pain; he was simply too hyped to stop.
Phew, phew, Alex took a little more time to calm down. The most important thing now was to understand his cheat, his golden finger. They still had a long, long time to enjoy in the world of Teyvat.
With a joyful mood, Alex then picked up his phone and looked at it.
Level: 1/20 (Sealed) (Requires Rank Up)Experience: 0/1000HP: 2000ATK: 80Defense: 200Speed: 80Crit Rate: 5%Crit Damage: 50%Energy Recharge: 100%All element Resistance: 0%Skills: None (Requires Rank Up)Weapon: EmptyEquipment: EmptyConstellation: 0 (Requires Special Star Soul to Unlock, Max 6)
The character interface, well, how to put it. It's both original and iron-like, isn't it? Very miHoYo... But looking at it this way, it's easy to understand, and the panel is quite concise overall.
But in the world of Genshin Impact, what's the use of speed? Running fast?
And this Constellation, it doesn't require the original game's Stella Fortuna, but rather the Star Soul from Honkai: Star Rail.
It's just that these current stats... are so weak!
And why are there so many things that require Rank Up? How do I Rank Up?
Why is the level sealed? How do I level up?
How do I get special Star Souls? Alex exited the character interface with these questions.
It's a bit disappointing that there's no intelligent assistant or anything to answer questions.
One more thing worth mentioning, has my age in this new world become 17?
Not bad, not bad, a blood profit of ten years. As for the question mark next to it, maybe it recognized that I was 27 and a student before, I guess.
Alex thought happily. No matter what, anyone whose body becomes ten years younger would be very happy!
Calming his mood, Alex then opened the other icon, Backpack.
The Backpack interface instantly filled Alex's entire Vision, revealing dense, small squares that could be scrolled down extensively. However, every single square inside was empty; there were no materials, items, or even gift packs!
Disappointment, so much disappointment!
Alex shook his head, tapped the 'X' icon, and exited the Backpack interface. Unexpectedly, the phone vibrated, and then another icon appeared on the screen: Quest.
Huh? Is it a quest-based system? Will it issue world quests or something?! I hope it doesn't give weird quests; I don't really like those.
