Velzard, the Golden Immortal, returned from annihilating the last of the Archangels. He approached Vahn, whose divine figure now pulsed with the integrated energy of the cosmic Void. Velzard's gaze was one of proud approval, but beneath it lay a profound, deep sense of relief.
Velzard had said:
"My son, You have succeeded. Not only did you ascend, but you truly mastered the Void."
He placed a hand on Vahn's shoulder, a gesture only an equal or a father could make to a newly ascended deity.
"I sensed the parasite's final movements. It is done, then? The lingering chaos, the original Void Dragon God's stubborn refusal to die... is it finally quiet?"
Vahn nodded, his face calm and absolute. "The parasite is gone, Father. I consumed the last of its Authority and purged the residual soul into Samsara, without memory. The Void Dragon God was finally destroyed."
