"I didn't know I had a girlfriend? When did we start dating?'' Nelson asked when they came out of the ward.
Edith turned and faced him. "I'm sorry, but I need you to pretend to be my boyfriend for a while. It won't be for long. Until my Dad is out of the hospital.''
"What? Are you kidding me?'' Nelson found the proposal absurd.
"Do you have a girlfriend, are you married?'' Edith asked him.
"I am single!'' Nelson shook his head.
"Then, that's settled. My father just woke up from coma. He has being asking me to get a boyfriend, and now that he is awake I don't want to disappoint him. Since he thinks that you are my boyfriend, I want it to remain that way. Be my fake boyfriend. You can ask for any compensation, I will pay.'' Edith suggested.
"Is everything about money to you?'' A hint of annoyance appeared on his face.
"Money is the only thing I don't lack. How much would do?'' Edith asked.
