"Darling, how are things going over there? Has Luigi said anything yet?" Gita snatched the phone from Sari and asked.
"I can't talk about that right now!"
"Here's your coffee. Is that your sisters?" Luigi asked curiously.
"Mm! That's Gita." June replied.
"Darling, no matter what happens, don't go as one and return as two. Remember to use protection and take it slow..."
June ended the call abruptly when she heard Gita's words. She was pretty sure Luigi heard it to, because her phone's speaker was a little loud.
"Gita likes to joke..." June mumbled awkwardly.
Luigi smiled and returned to the kitchen. June cussed. She just wanted a hole to crawl inside. The embarrassment was overwhelming.
At the kitchen, Luigi couldn't stop smiling. At least, he had confirmed that the attraction between them was real and mutual.
He turned to the hall and saw June drinking the coffee, and his face beamed.
