Grace's POV
"Why don't you just act like she doesn't exist?" I suggested. "Treat her like any other employee you don't need to worry about."
I genuinely cared for Vita. She was kind-hearted, hardworking, and completely devoted to her job.
Her only weakness was her fiery temper and tendency to speak before thinking things through. "I'm not confident Vita can keep this secret from Amara. You know how insufferable Amara can be, and Vita holds a serious grudge against women like her."
"I'm terrified Vita might blow up and reveal everything to Amara's face, destroying our entire plan," I said.
"Don't worry, Ma'am. I'll keep Vita under control if she loses her temper with Amara," Andrew promised. "I'm not sure I can continue with this plan to bring down your sister if I'm working in such a toxic environment, Ma'am. Vita's hatred toward me is really getting to me."
"Toxic environment?" I paused, then smirked playfully. "Mr. Sinclair, don't tell me you have feelings for Vita—AH!"
