Carlos's POV
I was in my office with Andrew when I heard shouting from outside. Through the partially open door, I could make out Amara's voice sneering with contempt at someone.
"Yeah, know your place, chink. You're nothing but a delivery girl, while I'm about to become your new boss!"
I heard her give what sounded like a light tap and declare, "Thanks for having my back, Sis. Go tell off that dumb Chinese delivery girl. She needs to understand her position around here."
Grace's voice came through clearly as she gestured toward my office, "Head over to see Carlos now. He's been waiting for your arrival."
"Exactly~ Time to meet Mr. Benjamin, I'm sure he'll be thrilled to see me today," Amara announced. I could hear her footsteps as she strutted toward my office door.
Vita's voice erupted in fury, "He's going to throw you out, you racist bitch!"
"Sure, sure, you're just some Chinese delivery girl. Go clean toilets or something," Amara shot back.
