I gasped and struggled against Carlos's powerful arms the moment I realized we might actually do this—right here, in broad daylight, inside a public café.
Sure, Carlos had reserved this VIP room, so other customers wouldn't barge in, but staff could still check on us or ask if we needed anything. The last thing I wanted was for someone to catch us in such a compromising situation.
"S—Sir—No, I mean, Carlos, not here," I stammered.
"Why not?"
"Because someone could walk in!" I shouted, pushing against his chest. "We should do this somewhere private—a hotel, my apartment, or at least your office!"
"I don't mind doing it here."
"Christ, are you some kind of exhibitionist?!" I yelled in frustration.
"Hey, relax," Carlos chuckled. "I just said you're getting me worked up. Doesn't mean I want to screw you right now."
"T—Then what do you want?"
