Chapter 7 - The routine continues anyway

Click

With the click of the door closing, Ho-sang stepped into his house, quickly kicking off his sneakers as he yawned.

Heading toward the couch, he dropped his bag before throwing himself onto it, his eyes drifting to the ceiling, staring at it blankly.

That was until he slowly smiled—a smile that turned into a light chuckle, and that light chuckle became a full-blown laugh.

"Hahahahahaha! Holy shit! I can't believe this! Hahahahahah!…"

He laughed freely for a moment as what had just happened replayed in his mind.

He was finally processing the fact that he had just had sex with a woman he didn't even know—and without a condom on top of that.

"Hahahaha… Damn, to think I'd lose my virginity in a subway bathroom, haaa." He exhaled while shaking his head, a faint smile still on his face.

He then raised his hand in front of his face. "And to think this power was so broken… I didn't expect getting a woman of that level to be this easy."

The face and body of the redhead—or rather, Hae-yun—came to mind. A woman of that level of beauty was way out of his league; he'd need at least money, fame, looks, or charisma to get someone like her.

But with his power, all it took was a touch. "This thing is really strong, I have to be careful who I touch or I could get into some real trouble." He narrowed his eyes while staring at his hand.

It was a good thing this kind of power was in his hands, because he wouldn't abuse it. But if it ever ended up in the hands of someone without scruples… yeah, he could easily see a lot of disasters happening.

Like if it fell into the hands of a serial rapist, or worse, someone with a crazy desire to take over the world—yeah, with this power, that's totally possible.

Quickly pushing those morbid thoughts aside, he lowered his hand, smiling with satisfaction again.

He was happy—not only that, he was proud of himself for his achievement. Even if that achievement was "cheating" thanks to his power, he was still happy he had slept with Hae-yun.

"Indeed, a happy man is a man with empty balls, hahaha~" He laughed, leaning forward from the couch, resting his elbows on his knees. "Though I'm not completely empty."

The image of Hae-yun came to mind—that hazy look in her eyes, her flushed, longing expression, the curve of her waist, her soft, smooth skin, that pleasant scent, the tight lips of her pussy, her warm insides and how she gripped him and… "Okay, okay, better stop, I'm already getting hard again." He stopped diving into the recent memory as his dick was already rock-hard as a result.

"Heh, imagine if we had kids in the future—how the hell would I explain to them how I met their mother? Listen, kids, I met your mom on the subway. On our first meeting, she called me disgusting and I called her a bitch, but after that we met again and got really close, and everything ended up in the subway bathroom."

He rubbed his forehead while laughing, remembering those 'How I Met Your Mother' memes. "Haha, I sound like a hopeless romantic already thinking about us having a family." Shaking his head, he brought his phone to him, opening his contacts and looking at her number.

Her profile picture was her smiling at the camera, making a peace sign with her hand. "She's really pretty… anyway, should I talk to her?" He rubbed his chin in thought.

After a silent moment, he ended up shaking his head. "Nah, better not for now. She probably wants to avoid me as much as possible considering how embarrassed she looked. I think it's better to give it some time before talking to her."

'But even if I talk to her later, how should I go about it? It's not like I want to date her—not right now at least.' He thought, beginning to reflect.

In fact, with everything that happened, he could start dating her. He doubted she'd refuse—there was maybe a one percent chance of that happening. But here's the thing: he didn't want to date her right now.

Being completely honest with himself, he just wanted to use this power to have sex with a few more women.

"Hmm, am I an asshole for thinking like this?" Maybe he was an asshole, but at least he was honest enough to admit it—he really wanted to use this power to sleep with more women. It was simply too tempting for him not to at least try.

But he still had standards. "I think I should try looking for some goth girls, some blondes, MILFs, some short girls under 1.50m, tomboys, Latinas, chubby girls, hmm… what else?" He didn't plan to hook up with every woman he met—only those with specific traits, which would add up to at most twenty or thirty.

And he knew he'd also have to be very careful in this endeavor—otherwise, he could end up like Makoto, creating a yandere who would eventually kill him. That's why, to avoid that, he would be very clear about his intentions whenever a woman asked him directly, thus avoiding any future headaches.

"Yawn~… Better get back to my stuff." Yawning, he got up from the couch, grabbed his bag from the floor, and headed to his room while scratching his back.

...

"Shit, I forgot to take the trash out earlier, hope they still come by today." Rubbing his head, Ho-sang went down the stairs of his building, heading toward the back exit.

Since he had been focused on Hae-yun, he ended up forgetting to take the trash out yesterday, making him miss the pickup.

He lazily walked down the steps until reaching the first floor, then turned into a hallway leading to a door, one hand in his pocket and the other holding a black trash bag.

'I didn't see her today, neither on the way there nor back. I think she's definitely avoiding me.' His mind thought about the fact that he hadn't seen Hae-yun on the subway, and it was already Tuesday.

'I'll give her a few more days, maybe she'll come talk to me herself.' Opening the door, he stepped through, dragging his feet slightly. But the moment he got to the other side, he stopped.

Because right in front of him was his neighbor—the black-haired girl who had come to his door a few days ago.

She was wearing a white T-shirt along with short pink shorts and pink flip-flops, and just like him, she froze the moment she saw him, her hand still on her head.

With the awkward silence lingering between them, Ho-sang decided to break it by greeting her. "Uh, hello again."

She blinked in surprise before greeting him back. "Hello." Then, a memory suddenly flashed in her mind, making her glance down at his crotch before quickly looking back up, blushing.

She remembered the scene where she saw Ho-sang with a raging erection.

"R-right, excuse me." Avoiding his gaze, she tried to quickly walk past him.

But when she got beside him, about to open the door, Ho-sang spoke to her again.

"You okay?"

"Uh-uh?" She stopped, turning her head to look at him in confusion. "What?"

Ho-sang took his hand out of his pocket and pointed at her. "Right after I opened the door, I saw you grimacing while rubbing your head—do you have a headache or something?"

She blinked, her expression shifting to understanding. "Oh, yeah, something like that."

"If the medicine's not working, you could try some lemon balm tea with orange peel—might work."

She blinked slowly, still staring at him without responding, her mouth slightly open as if she were at a loss for words.

Thinking she didn't believe him, Ho-sang spoke again. "I'm serious, it might work—and you can trust me, it's a mom's recipe." He raised his hand with a confident thumbs-up.

"…Alright." She finally responded after a moment, seeming to come back to her senses.

Ho-sang gave her a simple nod before turning and heading toward the dumpster.

However, he had only taken a few steps when her voice called out.

"E-excuse me."

Looking back, Ho-sang saw her blushing, looking off to the side, clearly embarrassed. "Why were you like that?"

Ho-sang tilted his head, not understanding what she meant or her behavior. "What?"

She looked back at him and, seeing his raised eyebrow and confused expression, realized she'd have to be more specific. She clenched her teeth slightly before asking again, this time looking at him. "I asked—why were you hard like that on the day I went to your house?"

'God! I'm really stupid for asking this!' She thought as her face grew even hotter at the absurdity of her own question. 'But can you blame me? I'm seriously curious, damn it—and there's no way I'd forget something like that anytime soon. On top of steaming, that thing was definitely not normal-sized!'

'Huh?' Ho-sang blinked, completely lost at what she was saying. 'What the hell is she talking about?' He scratched his head, looking confused. "Hard?… Like that?… Sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about."

He really had no clue what she meant. That day when he got shocked, his dick and balls had been completely numb to the point he couldn't even feel them—and with the headache he had, he stayed lying on his bed until it passed.

He only got up afterward, and by that time, whatever had been wrong with his dick was already gone.

"…Are you serious?" She looked at him, half-disbelieving—there was no way he hadn't noticed that.

Then, the thought that he might be messing with her crossed her mind, making her frown slightly. "Are you making fun of me?"

Ho-sang shook his head. "No, I have no idea what you're talking about—but if what you said is true, then I have an explanation for it."

She still looked at him with a slight frown. "And what is it?"

"At that moment when you showed up, I had just been shocked—hard enough to make me think I was gonna die. Plus, I clearly remember the pressure I felt in my private parts. Honestly, I thought I was about to become a eunuch."

"…What? You got shocked in your private parts?" She struggled to believe that, her face showing surprise as a slight blush appeared.

Ho-sang scratched his head with a half-awkward smile. "Yeah, I know how absurd that sounds, but it's the truth. Luckily, it wasn't anything serious—me and the boys are fine."

"…Alright." She nodded slightly. It made sense—if the electric current had stimulated the nerves responsible for an erection, it would explain why he'd been like that. She could believe it.

"But why did you ask that? That's a pretty weird question to ask someone, don't you think?" Ho-sang smiled slightly.

The blush on her face deepened, and she coughed into her fist. "Khum, right—sorry about that. It's just that I got curious since there was steam and everything… Anyway, it was just curiosity, nothing more." She finished with a calmer look—she didn't want this guy thinking she was interested in him or anything like that, because she wasn't.

"Curiosity, huh? Sure."

But seeing the way he replied without losing his smile, she figured he didn't believe her one bit.

'What an irritating guy.' She thought, her gaze turning dry. "Alright, that's all—see you." She said, turning away.

"Wait, before you go, let's introduce ourselves properly—we live next to each other and don't even know each other's names."

Hearing him, she turned back to see him approaching and stopping near her.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Go Ho-sang."

He said as he extended his hand with a slight smile on his face.

She looked at his hand for a moment. 'A Western greeting?' While she wondered internally, she extended her hand to his. "Nice to meet you, I'm Joo Li-…da…" But the moment her hand touched his, she froze.

'Oh! Shit, forgot about that—not in the mood for sex right now.' Remembering the effect of his touch, Ho-sang quickly released the handshake. "Right, nice to meet you, Joo Li-da. Our talk was nice too—see you later." He raised his hand before turning and walking toward the dumpster.

Still with her hand extended, Li-da silently watched Ho-sang's back as he walked away, then looked down at her hand. 'Am I imagining things?… My headache stopped the moment he touched me?' She frowned in thought, but after a moment, she shook her head.

Casting one last glance at Ho-sang, she turned and finally went into the building.

As for Ho-sang, he lifted the dumpster lid and tossed the bag inside, hearing the sound of the door closing behind him as Li-da went in. "Phew, that was close."

With the trash finally out, Ho-sang made his way back to his room.

...

Walking silently along the sidewalk in a black T-shirt and black shorts, Ho-sang carried two grocery bags as he headed back to his apartment.

He'd gone to a nearby market to buy some supplies—he'd felt like making stroganoff, so he had to go out to buy the necessary ingredients.

As he walked, the phone in his shorts pocket buzzed before starting to ring. Taking it out, he saw it was a call from Dong-sik. "Yo."

"Dude! Didn't you say you wanted to meet Jo Gaa-he? I just saw her near the K-Mart store!"

Hearing Dong-sik, Ho-sang stopped. "What?"
