Chapter 89 - 89

Andrew opened the box, and a blue cube glowed inside; it was the Tesseract. With a grab from a distance, the Space Stone flew out of the cube and landed in his left hand.

Red Devil was a bit surprised. There was a stone inside the Tesseract? Even S.H.I.E.L.D. probably didn't know about this.

At this moment, a large amount of space energy turned into blue lightning and surged into Andrew's body. The surrounding void twisted, and Andrew let out a low roar, using Demon Lord Power to suppress the Space Stone.

Soon, the space energy disappeared, and the Space Stone merged into Andrew's palm, officially becoming his treasure.

"It seems my compatibility with the Space Stone is very high; the Space Stone didn't reject me."

Andrew was a bit excited. The Space Stone was a top-tier treasure, enough to bridge the gap between him and the veteran Lords. That meant he was now on the same level as Mephisto.

Thinking of something, Andrew looked up at the void. Ancient One didn't stop him and let him get the Space Stone. It seemed Ancient One truly had no ill will towards him.

What did getting the Space Stone mean? It meant two things.

First, even if the Earth exploded, Rebirth Hell would not be affected because the Space Stone was enough to protect Rebirth Hell.

Second, even if Small Hell had problems, Andrew could come and go freely on Earth. Kamar-Taj's formations couldn't block the Space Stone.

"What exactly did Ancient One see in the future to indulge me so much?"

Andrew shook his head. No matter what Ancient One thought, improving his strength was definitely the right thing to do. Once he became the Lord of Hell, he would no longer have to worry about anyone.

"Asazel, well done. You deserve a reward."

Andrew snapped his fingers, and a spatial energy surged into Red Devil's body. Red Devil let out a loud roar, his eyes glowing blue.

Immediately after, Red Devil teleported frantically within the hall. Because he was so fast, he even formed many afterimages. His teleportation speed was several times faster than before.

"He can't even withstand this much energy."

Andrew shook his head, too lazy to bother with Red Devil. With a shake of his hand, a ball of spatial energy formed a glowing, counterfeit Space Stone.

Then, Andrew sent the counterfeit stone back into the Tesseract. With this counterfeit in place, the Tesseract's functions would not be affected. It could still create energy weapons and still open intergalactic portals.

In other words, the Alien invasion of New York would not be affected. However, the Tesseract would disappear once its energy ran out.

"Mixing the fake with the genuine, deceiving the heavens to cross the sea."

Andrew nodded with satisfaction. As for whether anyone would be scammed by the counterfeit Tesseract, what did he care?

At this moment, Red Devil stopped in front of Andrew and said gratefully, "Thank you, BOSS."

"You're welcome. Work hard, and you'll become even stronger in the future."

Andrew sent the Tesseract in front of Red Devil and said, "Return to Earth and give the cube back to S.H.I.E.L.D."

Red Devil was stunned: "Give it back to S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

"Is there a problem? A good person repays what they borrow."

Andrew said. Red Devil dared not ask more and left Rebirth Hell with the Tesseract, teleporting to S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters.

After Red Devil left, Andrew sat on the throne, carefully analyzing the Space Stone in his palm, aiming to completely master the spatial rules.

Only by mastering the spatial rules could he truly unleash the power of the Space Stone. It wasn't just for teleportation and portals. After all, Captain Marvel was also created by the Space Stone.

At S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Red Devil appeared out of thin air. Nick Fury was first stunned, then roared at him, "Red Devil, where did you just go?"

From Red Devil's disappearance to his reappearance, several minutes had passed. During these minutes, Nick Fury almost went crazy with worry. He thought Red Devil had run off with the Tesseract.

"I went to recharge. Look at my eyes, aren't they cool?"

Red Devil pointed to his glowing eyes and said excitedly. Nick Fury looked at his eyes and said in astonishment, "Don't tell me you borrowed the Tesseract just to get a pair of eyes that blind others?"

"You don't know a good thing when you see it. I've evolved, understand?"

Red Devil scoffed, placing the box on the table. He said, "Here's your Tesseract back. Don't always think the worst of people. Even though I look like a devil, I'm not as shameless as you."

Nick Fury opened the box immediately and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the Tesseract still inside.

Red Devil sneered, then turned to Professor Charles and said, "Professor, I'll take you to the Space Station. Now, I can go not just to the Space Station, but even to the moon."

"No wonder you wanted the Tesseract."

Professor Charles suddenly understood. He said, "Take me to the Space Station. It's time for this farce to end."

"Wait, take Barton with you."

Nick Fury quickly called out. He wouldn't feel at ease without his own people there.

Barton walked over with a bow and nodded to Professor Charles. Professor Charles didn't object. Then, Red Devil teleported both of them to the Space Station.

At the Space Station, Dr. Reed impatiently asked Mystique, "Mystique, can I start the experiment now?"

Mystique was a bit speechless. She had never encountered such a persistent researcher. Even Susan couldn't help but glance at Dr. Reed a few more times.

These glances made Dr. Reed even more convinced of his judgment. As long as this experiment succeeded, Susan would return to his side.

It was for the whole world, and also for his woman.

"Alright, go do your experiment."

Before Mystique finished speaking, accompanied by a red mist, three people appeared out of thin air. When Mystique saw the shining bald head, she immediately knew something was wrong and instantly wanted to activate the Earth-based weapon—the Earth-based weapon's controller was on her and could be voice-activated.

Unfortunately, it was too late. Accompanied by a mental wave, all the Mutant present, plus Sloan the Assassin, lost control of their bodies.

As soon as Barton saw Mystique, he immediately raised his long bow, ready to shoot. Professor Charles called out, "Agent Barton, she is no longer a threat."

"Better be."

Barton glanced at the immobilized Mystique and said, "Red Devil, take Mystique and the others back to S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters."

"I'll rest first."

Red Devil said. In fact, he didn't really need to rest. He was just annoyed by Barton's attitude. 'I'm an excellent employee personally praised by the Demon Lord, what's with your attitude, Agent?'

Barton frowned but couldn't do anything about Red Devil. He thought for a moment, walked up to Mystique, and snatched the controller. Then, he reported the matter to Nick Fury.

Nick Fury breathed a sigh of relief. He said to the World Security Council representatives, "It's resolved. S.H.I.E.L.D. will not disappoint you."

"Thank goodness you're finally here."

Seeing Professor Charles and Agent Barton, Tony breathed a sigh of relief. He said, "I want to ask, has the news of my kidnapping been reported?"

"That's what you care about most?"

Barton scoffed. He said, "Don't worry, it's already been reported. The headline is 'Tony Stark Kidnapped Again.'"
