Chapter 71 - 71

Facing Bronski, who was charging at him, Dr. Banner's first thought was to turn and run, but then he swallowed hard and yelled as he charged towards Bronski.

The next second, two massive bodies collided violently, and a circular airwave roared out, shattering all the surrounding glass. Immediately after, Dr. Banner flew backward, crashing heavily to the ground.

Bronski, seizing the advantage, leaped towards Dr. Banner. Dr. Banner quickly rolled to avoid him, and Bronski landed with a thud, creating a large crater in the ground.

Then, Bronski kicked Dr. Banner, who was on the ground, sending him flying. With a crash, a building collapsed as Dr. Banner slammed into it.

Dr. Banner VS Bronski: a complete rout.

General Ross and Nick Fury both looked bewildered. Was this Hulk a fake, a shoddy product? So weak?

The reason Dr. Banner was defeated so badly was not only because his strength was far inferior to Hulk's, but also because he lacked combat experience and fighting skills. Bronski, on the other hand, was a king of soldiers.

This was different from Hulk. Hulk possessed the most top-tier combat instincts, and he grew stronger the more he fought.

"Why are you so weak? Where did the old you go?"

Easily crushing Dr. Banner, Bronski wasn't happy; instead, he was filled with rage, shouting loudly at Dr. Banner.

"I just need a little time to get into shape."

Dr. Banner emerged from the rubble, encouraging himself—he did have one advantage: he was quite durable.

"Get into shape? I'll help you. If you can't get into shape, then die!"

Bronski rushed forward and brutally beat Dr. Banner. Dr. Banner resisted with all his might; although it was mostly useless, at least it kept Bronski occupied.

While the outside was in chaos, Natasha led her team into Dr. Stern's laboratory. As soon as they entered, they discovered two people putting Hulk's blood into boxes.

"Stop! That blood belongs to S.H.I.E.L.D."

Natasha immediately aimed her gun at them. The two men turned their heads at the same time, looking coldly at Natasha.

One of the two men was completely shrouded in black clothes, his appearance unclear, feeling very bulky. The other had long hair, wore a mask, and his left arm was made of metal, giving off a very cold impression.

"It's you."

Upon seeing the man with the metal arm, Natasha's expression changed, and she immediately opened fire—she had once fought him. Although she managed to escape, she could never wear a bikini again—there was a clear scar on her abdomen.

The man with the metal arm, Winter Soldier Bucky, blocked the bullets with his metal arm. Then, he threw a bottle of Hulk's blood at Natasha and her team. Everyone was startled and quickly dodged. Bucky took the opportunity to pull out the lightweight submachine gun from behind his waist and spray bullets at them.

"They absolutely cannot take Hulk's blood."

Natasha shouted. With so much blood here, how many Abominations could be created?

The Agents responded by firing at Bucky. Bucky, undaunted, hid behind a cabinet and exchanged fire with the Agents.

"You guys are out of luck."

The man in black gave a sinister smile, tearing open his outer clothes to reveal a crude exoskeleton armor and an Arc Reactor.

Immediately after, the man in black pushed the cabinet with force, and the heavy cabinet immediately toppled towards Natasha. Natasha quickly rolled to avoid the cabinet.

Natasha was very shocked. Stark's Arc Reactor, the military's exoskeleton armor? What was this guy's background?

Armies all over the world were researching exoskeleton armor, which could greatly increase soldiers' combat capabilities. However, limited by batteries, its practicality wasn't too strong. The appearance of the Arc Reactor completely changed all of that.

Basically, the man in black could be called a knock-off, impoverished version of Iron Man.

"Are you ready to suffer? Only through pain can there be order."

The man in black stepped on the cabinet and charged towards Natasha. Natasha raised her gun and fired at him, but the steel shell on his body blocked the bullets. Then, the man in black kicked Natasha in the chest. Natasha flew straight back as if hit by a car, slamming into the wall and falling down.

"Why do I always encounter such powerful opponents? I'm just a mortal who's a bit pretty and has a good figure, okay?"

Natasha cursed, struggling to get up from the ground. Then, she grabbed a bottle of Hulk's blood and threw it at the man in black. The man in black's expression changed slightly, and he quickly dodged—his exoskeleton armor wasn't fully enclosed; many areas were unprotected.

Seeing this, Natasha threw away her gun and picked up bottles, continuously smashing them at the man in black. This could both hinder the enemy and destroy Hulk's blood.

Bucky wanted to stop Natasha but was desperately held back by the Agents. A cold light flashed in Bucky's eyes. Using his metal arm as a shield to block bullets, he charged into the Agents, slaughtering them.

"HYDRA has come out too?"

Andrew, seeing the situation inside the laboratory, contacted Howard and asked, "Howard, the murderer who killed you has appeared. Are you interested in beating him up?"

"Sergeant Barnes? Where is he?"

Howard immediately shouted upon hearing this. He not only wanted revenge on Bucky but also wanted to find The Mastermind through Bucky. The events of that year were shrouded in mist, and he vaguely felt that there was a big problem within S.H.I.E.L.D.

Andrew said, "In the laboratory. Go ahead."

"Good."

Howard nodded, letting Trask take over his role in containing Abomination Number Four, and he quickly flew towards the laboratory.

Soon, Howard arrived at the laboratory. By this time, the Agents had been almost completely slaughtered by Bucky, and Black Widow was also in precarious danger. Seeing this, Howard shouted loudly, "Soldier, give me back my life."

The three people present were all bewildered. What was going on?

Bewildered or not, it didn't stop Howard, the man in black, and Bucky from fighting fiercely in the laboratory. Natasha, having saved her life, was gasping for breath in the corner. Seriously, what was wrong with this world? Monsters everywhere?

Just then, a huge explosion suddenly came from the direction of Queens. Even Manhattan felt a violent tremor. Both sides, friend and foe, were somewhat astonished. What happened over there?

Let's rewind time a bit, to the Hammer Industries warehouse in Flushing.

Cyclops flipped the switch on his visor, and a crimson laser blasted towards the unmanned combat suit opposite him. The head of the unmanned combat suit was instantly blown open with a high-temperature hole.

The remaining unmanned combat suits all fired at Cyclops. Colossus transformed into his steel form and stood in front of Cyclops, all bullets clanging and falling to the ground.

At the same time, Storm flew in the sky, using the strong winds as a shield while controlling lightning to strike the unmanned combat suits.

Jean also didn't fall behind, using her telekinesis to control the unmanned combat suits to block miniature missiles. For some reason, her telekinesis had been rapidly increasing during this time; things she couldn't do before, she could now do with ease.

While the X-Men dealt with the unmanned combat suits, Psylocke and the mercenary Wade dealt with Iron Monger, Spider-Man dealt with War Machine, and Iron Man dealt with Whiplash Ivan.

Iron Monger's firepower was very fierce, but unfortunately, his opponents were Wade and Psylocke. One of them couldn't be killed no matter how much you hit him, and the other could easily cut through steel. Working together, even Iron Monger couldn't quickly defeat them.
