Natasha glanced at the control panel and asked Taskmaster, "Why did you all suddenly regain consciousness?"
Taskmaster still didn't answer, as if Natasha didn't exist. Natasha sighed and went to talk to Dreykov on the ground. She said, "You're depressed, and so am I. I feel like I've been played."
Dreykov whispered, "Take me away, and I'll give you anything you want."
"What I want is for you to disappear forever."
Natasha snorted. Seeing this, Dreykov pleaded with Taskmaster again, but unfortunately, Taskmaster ignored him completely.
The Black Widow Corps was very strong. Soon after, all enemies inside the fortress were cleared. Then, the Black Widows escorted Red Guardian and Melina to the main control room.
Red Guardian had injuries, clearly having been taught a lesson by the Black Widows.
"Dreykov!"
Upon seeing Dreykov on the ground, intense killing intent simultaneously erupted in the eyes of all the Black Widows. Taskmaster said, "Boss said to take him downstairs before we act. Then, each of us can kill him once."
"Once isn't enough."
Yelena said coldly. The Black Widows all nodded. If ultimate evil existed in the world, Dreykov would certainly be one of them.
"Taken downstairs? Are you..."
Natasha thought of something and asked in surprise. It turned out the Demon King's target wasn't her, but the Black Widows.
"Whether it is or isn't isn't important. What's important is that you should leave now."
Yelena said, "Remember to forget what happened here."
"Forget? That won't do."
Natasha said mysteriously. At this moment, a Black Widow shouted, "Aircraft detected nearby."
The Black Widows were startled and quickly looked at the screen, discovering six aircraft approaching. These aircraft had special technology and were only just detected.
These were S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Quinjets.
Melina asked Natasha, "Did you bring people?"
"I didn't bring anyone, but S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury is a super paranoid person who trusts no one. If I suddenly came to Russia, he would definitely send people to monitor me."
Natasha chuckled, "Given their methods, it's perfectly normal for them to follow me here."
At this moment, Natasha was pulled into an illusion again. Andrew asked with a sneer, "Are you very pleased with yourself right now? Do you think you played me?"
"I didn't play you. If you insist on thinking that, then there's nothing I can do."
Although she said that, Natasha's smugness was evident. Andrew smiled and said, "You say you didn't violate it, so you didn't? S.H.I.E.L.D. followed you to the Sky Fortress, Natasha Romanoff, you violated the contract. From now on, your soul is mine."
Along with Andrew's voice, the contract mark in Natasha's soul turned into a phoenix brand, meaning her soul officially belonged to Andrew.
Natasha shouted in shock and anger, "I didn't violate the contract! You can't take my soul!"
Andrew leisurely asked, "Do you remember the last clause of the contract?"
Natasha recalled for a moment, then asked in astonishment, "The last clause, 'The final interpretation right belongs to the Demon King'?"
"That's right, the right of interpretation belongs to me. S.H.I.E.L.D. appearing here is a fact. If I say you broke the promise, then you broke the promise."
Andrew sneered, "Who do you think you are? Playing mind games with the Demon King? Are you worthy?"
Natasha trembled with rage. She shouted, "I refuse!"
"Do I need you to obey?"
Andrew said, "Your soul already belongs to me. I control not only your life and death but everything about you, Natasha. Think carefully about what you should say next; it will determine your future destiny."
Natasha felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar. She was silent for a moment, then knelt before Andrew and said with utmost respect, "Lord Demon King, please forgive my arrogance. Everything I have belongs to you."
Andrew walked to Natasha, lifted her chin with his finger, and said, "Your eyes tell me that the flame of defiance still burns in your heart."
Natasha's heart skipped a beat, and just as she was about to explain, Andrew continued, "But I don't care, because I'm not very interested in you, and one day, you will cry and beg to offer everything to me."
Then, the illusion disappeared. Natasha breathed a sigh of relief. Only then did she realize her back was drenched in cold sweat.
Thankfully, the Demon King wasn't interested in her; otherwise, she would be finished. Her soul already belonged to him; he could easily make her wish she were dead.
"I was a bit overconfident."
Natasha secretly shook her head. However, she didn't believe she would ever surrender to the Demon King. As a Black Widow, she had never surrendered.
It is worth mentioning that Natasha, and the other Black Widows, could not reveal any secrets unless Andrew agreed.
Having dealt with Natasha, Andrew gently waved his hand towards the six Quinjets. The six Quinjets simultaneously began to decay. Soon, they turned into six rusty old planes.
Immediately after, the old planes disintegrated in mid-air, and the six pilots hastily activated their escape devices, ejecting from the cockpits one after another.
This was the curse of decay.
"You should leave now."
Andrew's voice echoed in Natasha's mind. Natasha dared not delay, taking the bewildered Red Guardian and Melina, preparing to leave.
Thinking of something, Natasha shouted to Yelena, "Yelena, do you want to come with us?"
"I'll find you, but not now."
Yelena shook her head. Natasha knew their souls had all fallen into the Demon King's hands. She sighed and left the Sky Fortress in a combat aircraft.
As soon as Natasha and the others left, a large amount of black mist emerged from the Sky Fortress. When the black mist disappeared, the entire fortress vanished.
Melina was a bit scared. She couldn't help but ask, "Natasha, what exactly is going on?"
"It's better if you don't know the truth."
Natasha gave a wry smile. What was happening to this world? First angels, then a Demon King? Could they still have fun?
Melina reminded her, "I don't care about the truth, but S.H.I.E.L.D. definitely does. Natasha, you need to be prepared."
Natasha immediately got a headache. This time, she would probably be investigated by S.H.I.E.L.D. for a long time. She hoped they wouldn't stop her salary; she had so many credit cards to pay off.
...
The Sky Fortress was teleported by Andrew to Rebirth Hell. Howard, Teslak, and Ethan came out to observe simultaneously.
"The technology is good, but this thing is too easily destroyed. It's not very useful."
Howard said. Teslak also said, "It's flashy but impractical, Boss. Can we dismantle it? It has a lot of materials we need."
"If you say that, Dreykov will cry."
Andrew complained. He said, "You can't dismantle it. You should transform it into an aerial base; that will make rescuing people much more convenient in the future.
As for the material issue, you don't have to worry anymore. Dreykov has an intelligence network comparable to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s. With this intelligence network in hand, buying materials will be incredibly simple. Whether legitimate or illicit, you can easily acquire them."
