Chapter 90 - Chapter 90: Elfman Got Evicted

After sparring with Erza for an entire day, Rain finally returned home in the evening. Once he washed up, he headed toward the dining area.

"Brother Rain, it's time to eat."

Lisanna greeted him with a bright smile the moment he stepped out of the bathroom.

"Thank you for your hard work, Lisanna."

Seeing her still wearing her apron and preparing dishes, Rain couldn't help but feel grateful.

"No need to thank me."

Lisanna shook her head with a soft smile blooming on her lips.

"For me… cooking for you makes me happy, Brother Rain. Even if it's for a lifetime."

"Lisanna…"

Rain opened his mouth, overwhelmed by the warmth in her words. Guilt pricked at him immediately.

"Well~~~ no need to say anything more." Lisanna stepped closer, eyes overflowing with affection. "I'm willing to stay by your side. Always."

"Lisanna."

This time, Rain couldn't hold himself back. He reached out and gently held her hand.

"Heehee."

Feeling his warmth, Lisanna's face completely lit up. She looked as if a whole bouquet of happiness had blossomed inside her.

"The future looks promising," she cheered silently to herself.

"Alright, alright, stop holding hands. Do you want to eat or not?"

A dry, helpless voice cut through the atmosphere from behind them.

"Huh?!!!"

Rain froze, spine straightening instantly. Mira stood behind them, staring…

Then she simply rolled her eyes and walked to the table.

"…???."

Rain blinked.

He had no idea what that meant.

And Lisanna?

She wasn't nervous at all—she was smiling like nothing was wrong.

What is going on…?

"Heehee."

Lisanna didn't explain anything. She simply guided Rain to sit and join them for dinner.

After a moment, Rain asked the question that had been nagging at him.

"By the way, something's been bothering me… Why are there only three of us here? Where's Elfman? I feel like I haven't seen him in days."

"Why? Brother Rain, don't you know?"

Lisanna looked genuinely surprised.

"…Know what?"

"Brother Elfman moved out," she said calmly.

"Elfman… moved out?"

Rain blinked hard. His brain couldn't compute.

"He's an adult now," Mira added while setting down a plate. "It's better for him to live on his own instead of staying with us forever."

"..."

Even after the explanation, Rain still didn't understand.

But the reality was simple—Mira probably felt that Elfman was getting in the way and kicked him out under the excuse of "teaching independence."

Honestly? Rain felt…

Mira did a great job.

Living in a big villa with only Mira and Lisanna?

Who wouldn't feel blessed?

He quickly dropped the topic and focused on eating.

And honestly… Lisanna's cooking was really good.

"By the way, Rain," Mira suddenly asked with a teasing tone. "Your relationship with Erza seems great, right? Did you two even exchange love tokens?"

Cough! Cough! Cough!

Rain instantly choked.

"Mira! Who told you that? Don't talk nonsense!"

"Isn't it true?" Mira blinked innocently.

"No! Nothing like that! I just gave her… a sword…"

"You 'just gave her a sword,' hmm?" Mira emphasized each word.

"And isn't there something called the Anti-Mira Alliance? Why don't you explain that?"

"Hahaha—Mira, you even know about that…"

Rain scratched his cheek, embarrassed.

"Actually, Erza came up with it. She said she wanted to defeat you before creating the alliance. That's all her idea. As for me—I don't want to defeat you, Mira."

"Erza really wants to defeat me over such a small thing? Isn't that a bit petty?"

Mira gave a helpless little sigh, looking genuinely shocked.

"…"

Rain and Lisanna exchanged a glance.

No.

There was no way what Mira did to Erza was "a small thing."

For Erza to train that hard… and even think of forming an alliance just to beat Mira…

Mira definitely did something outrageous.

"But… what did you do? I'm curious," Rain muttered.

"Oh? You want to know what I did to Erza?" Mira smiled sweetly, eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Yes."

"Obviously."

Both Rain and Lisanna nodded at the same time.

"Nope~" Mira sang as she shook her head.

"I promised Erza I wouldn't tell anyone."

"Aw, what a pity…" Lisanna wilted slightly.

"Lisanna, you're still too naive," Rain said with a mysterious tone.

"Huh? What do you mean?" she blinked innocently.

"Just watch me."

Rain's expression turned confident—as if he was about to unveil something big.
