Honami Ichinose's POV
"Takashi, where have you been lately?" Mother's voice was calm in volume but firm in tone, each word heavy with the kind of restrained anger that made the air feel tight.
It was hard to blame her for it, my brother had been gone for an entire week, right when graduation was close and the final exams had already been settled.
It wasn't just the absence from school that upset her.
What truly cut deeper was that he hadn't come home for seven days straight, offering no explanation, no message, nothing.
Even I felt anger welling up inside. I sat there glaring at him across the table, my breakfast untouched.
Across the table, my younger sister ate her breakfast like any other morning.
She didn't react, didn't join the conversation, too young to follow what was going on, or maybe too far removed from it to care.
Then, breaking the tension, another voice spoke, female, soft, deliberate.
I turned, and there she was sitting right there next to him.
The girl's presence alone made something in me knot uncomfortably.
She met Mother's gaze with a polite smile, her expression carrying a quiet apology.
"I'm sorry, Mother Takashi. This is my fault. I shouldn't have kept him with me so long just to play around for my own selfish reasons.," she said gently.
"But both of you aren't even a couple. It's completely inappropriate to live together in the same house," I said, my voice sharper than I intended.
Sakayanagi's cheeks flushed red at my words.
Something about that reaction made my gut twist in a way I didn't like.
She glanced shyly at Mother before speaking again. "Uhm… we are together. We've been together for a while now, Mother-in-law. Please, I'm asking for your blessing."
"Are you absolutely sure about this, Arisu-chan?" Mother asked, a hesitant look in her eyes. "You do know our family's situation."
"I believe in him, Mother-in-law. You've seen for yourself how amazing Takashi-kun is," Arisu replied softly, her voice dripping with confidence in him.
My brother chuckled at that, clearly pleased with how this was going.
He looked… happy.
I should've been happy for him too. I really should have.
But instead, there was this ugly, stinging feeling lodged inside me that I couldn't shake.
"I'll take full responsibility for her and make her the happiest woman in the world, Mother," he vowed, his tone steady and sure.
Mother's eyes softened. "Then you have my blessing, Takashi… and you too, Arisu-chan. I've known the two of you have been friends for three years now, and I always wondered why it took you this long to finally be together."
"Thanks, Mother," they both said in unison.
Mother smiled warmly at them, her tone turning almost playful. "You don't have to go anywhere today. Arisu-chan, you can spend time with Takashi in his room. Just… be mindful of the noise."
That was it for me.
I stood up abruptly, my chair scraping against the floor. "I'm full, Mother."
I didn't wait for a response. I walked out, each step heavier than the last, unwilling to hear anything more.
In my room, I shut the door and sank onto the bed, my arms wrapping around the pillow in front of me. For reasons I couldn't explain, tears began to fall, one after another. My chest felt tight, my throat dry.
Why?
Why did it hurt this much?
I didn't understand.
And maybe… I didn't want to.
Maybe some sleep would help wash away the tears that kept sliding from the corners of my eyes.
I just wanted the heaviness in my chest to fade, even for a little while.
But before I could sink into that fragile hope, a knock came at my door.
"Can I come in, sister?" My brother's voice drifted through, gentle as always, smooth enough to slip right past my guard.
I swallowed and answered, my voice hoarse from crying. "You can come in… brother."
Even in this pathetic state, refusing him wasn't something I could bring myself to do.
The door opened quietly, and he stepped inside.
He stepped inside without hesitation, walked up to my bed, and sat beside me.
His hand was warm as it reached up to wipe away my tears, slow and careful, almost tender.
"Do you dislike Arisu that much, Honami?" he asked, his tone calm, curious.
"No, brother. She's the perfect match for you. She's gentle, smart, and even more than competent as your girlfriend. How could I possibly hate her?" I replied, my voice tinged with melancholy.
"Maybe so… but that's not what your heart is telling you," he said.
The faint chuckle that followed was low, almost humorless, and when I looked up, his gentle expression was gone.
In its place was something colder, indifferent, calculated, a calm that felt like it could see through me entirely.
"You'll get nothing in the end if you keep lying to yourself, my dear sister." His voice lowered, carrying a quiet authority that left no room for resistance. "Don't lock your door tonight. And stay awake. I'll come to you myself."
For reasons I didn't understand, my heartbeat quickened at his commanding tone.
My body felt light, my breath shallow. I didn't question him, didn't even try. I just nodded, meek and obedient.
"Good girl." His lips curved into a grin, but it wasn't the gentle smile he wore for others.
This one was twisted, relieved, almost satisfied. "Then rest well, my dear sister. Wait for me. I'll give you the love you've been wanting for in your heart."
He leaned down and kissed my forehead.
The touch lingered far too long, and the way his fingers slid through my hair was not the way a brother touched a sister, it was the way a man touched someone he claimed as his own.
I stayed still, unable to move, my mind a tangled mess.
Had I just made the right choice?
Or a mistake I couldn't take back?
But…
I didn't want to lose him.
Not to her.
Not to anyone.
He's mine.
Mine alone.
Then the night came and went quickly.
Just like he promised, he really came into my room. I stayed awake the whole time, just as he had told me to, lying completely naked under the blanket, waiting for him.
When he finally slipped inside, he pulled the blanket away, exposing my bare body to his eyes.
I kept my eyes shut, pretending to sleep, not reacting to his movements.
He didn't break the atmosphere.
Instead, he leaned down and pressed his lips softly against mine, the kiss gentle but heavy with intent.
His tongue slid into my mouth, tasting me deeply, while his hands began groping my breasts, squeezing them possessively.
I could feel his smirk against my lips as he chuckled lowly.
"Your chest keeps getting bigger and bigger, Honami… Let me make it even bigger."
His tone sent shivers down my spine.
Then his hands grew rougher, kneading my breasts hard, making my nipples stiffen under his touch.
He lowered his mouth to them, sucking one deep into his lips and rolling his tongue over it as he pressed his weight on top of me.
A soft moan escaped me despite my effort to remain still, my eyes still closed as if I was refusing to acknowledge him.
Then he spread my legs wide. I gasped when I felt the tip of his cock press against my entrance.
Without hesitation, he pushed forward, tearing through my hymen in one thrust.
A warm sting shot through me as a thin line of blood trickled from my folds, mixing with my wetness. He kissed me again, slower this time, as if trying to soothe the shock.
That night became something neither of us would ever forget, the moment we shattered the taboo for the first time.
His hips moved in a steady rhythm, thrusting in and out of me, each time going deeper, each time hitting something inside that made me moan louder.
He was relentless, determined to fill me completely, to mark me as his.
By the time he finally spilled himself inside me, thick hot spurts flooding my pussy, I knew this wasn't just a night, it was the moment he claimed me.
