Luo Shin sat in his hut, calm after his recent breakthrough. His Qi circulated smoothly, his body tempered with 〈Iron Vein Tempering〉. He leaned back and muttered to himself with a faint smile:
> "Hah… life is finally going smoothly. I just hope the author doesn't suddenly throw some trouble my way."

The system panel appeared abruptly, glowing ominously.

Location: Forest beside Seria City

Shin froze. "…What the—?"

His eyes widened as he read the panel again.
"Kill… goblins? In the jungle? How the hell are there goblins here? Isn't this Earth?"
The system remained silent, only the mission flashing before his eyes. Shin rubbed his temple.
"Haa… so much for peaceful days. I knew it was too smooth."

Entering the Forest
Still hesitant, Shin grabbed the Defensive Amulet, tied the Rusted Dagger at his side, and stepped out into the night. The faint glow of Seria's city lights faded as he walked toward the jungle near his hut.
He whispered, "Fine. If this is the path the system forces on me, I'll go."
The forest was quiet, save for the rustle of leaves and faint howls in the distance. Shin activated Status Scan, sweeping his vision across the dense shadows.

Shin's breath caught.
"Ten goblins… with one at Level 7. That's no beginner's test."

He glanced at the rusted dagger on his belt. Useless as it was, he tightened his grip on it.
> "System, you want me to fight? Fine. But don't regret what happens when I stop holding back."
The night air grew colder as shadows shifted. Red eyes gleamed from between the trees. The goblins had already noticed him.
