Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: I'm alive again?!

I have crossed over to the ABO world — and now, I am the only eldest son of the Gu family.

The person I crossed over into is the future heir, the one who will take over the entire famous corporation. A life that everyone dreams of.

But if I go back just one day before…

I was still just a weak student, bullied and despised by my classmates. My parents died early, I had no one to rely on. That day, they tricked me onto the rooftop, tore my clothes, insulted me as a despicable person, and even filmed a clip to humiliate me.

Indignant, desperate, and humiliated… I threw myself from the 44th floor.

I thought that was the end. But no… it was the beginning.

I crossed over.

Waking up in a luxurious room, I stared blankly at the exquisite ceiling, not knowing where I was.

"Could it be… I'm still alive?"

A noble woman, old but still beautiful, ran to hug me tightly. Her voice trembled:

"I'm sorry… I'm sorry… It's me who hurt you… It's me who didn't watch you carefully…"

I was stunned.

"Mom…?"

I had never had any memories of my mother. Orphaned since childhood, "mother" was a luxury concept. I unconsciously asked:

"Who are you…?"

The woman turned pale.

"A Tuong… what's wrong with you? Have you forgotten your mother…?"

She trembled as she reached out to touch my cheek, muttering "doctor." I looked around, then slowly thought…

Could it be that I had… traveled through time?

Although surprised, I quickly adjusted my expression. I held her hand, softly saying:

"Ah… no… I'm fine, Mom. I'm just a little dizzy."

She stared at me, then suddenly burst into tears.

"A Tuong… you're such a good boy. You even know how to thank your mother…"

She hugged me tightly, gently kissing my cheek – a warm feeling that I had never known in all these years.

Just then, a butler walked in:

"Madam, the master is looking for you."

She turned to me, softly saying:

"You should rest. I'll go out for a bit."

I nodded:

"You can go, Mom, I'm fine."

However, I could still see the worry in her eyes. She did not forget to tell the servants standing guard outside the door, not to let anyone disturb me.

I looked out the window — for the first time in my life, sunlight shone on me… without bringing coldness.

I looked out the window, the sunlight gently shining through the thin curtains. My mind began to piece together everything — from the painful past, the desperate jump, to this new life. I died once… so this time, I must live well.

I will do what I once dreamed of but could not do:

"Support the orphanage.

Help the poor.

And live up to the opportunity that fate has given me."

At that moment, a knock on the door sounded. The butler walked in and said softly:

"Young master, it's time for lunch. The master and his wife are waiting for you downstairs."

I turned around and nodded:

"Okay, I know. You go down first, I'll be right down."

The butler heard this and replied in a respectful and gentle voice:

"Then I'll take my leave first. Remember to come down early."

When he left, I quickly changed my clothes. Opening the wardrobe, I was stunned for a moment — the clothes were neatly hung, all branded, each set exquisite and luxurious.

I was a little surprised but then I chuckled:

"The eldest son of the Gu family is really rich."

Choosing a comfortable outfit, I walked downstairs. As soon as my mother saw me, she happily called out:

"A Xiang, come down here quickly! The food is getting cold!"

Sitting next to her was a man with a serious and somewhat cold aura. I guessed it was my father. They both looked at me and said:

"Sit down, son."

As soon as I sat down at the table, my mother kept picking up food for me, her voice full of concern:

"A Xiang, eat a lot, you must get well soon."

My father also spoke in a calm voice:

"Listen to your mother."

I nodded:

"Yes."

While eating, my father suddenly said:

"There will be a big auction tonight. A Xiang, do you want to go?"

I shook my head, curiously asking:

"What auction, Dad?"

He replied:

"It's an annual gathering of tycoons. They come to auction off valuable items — I heard there's something very special this time."

I nodded slightly, as if I understood.

Unexpectedly, my mother turned to suggest:

"Or… Ah Xiang, how about you come with us? By the way, introduce me to everyone, so everyone knows that you're my favorite son."

After she finished speaking, she tilted her head, looking at me expectantly.

I hesitated, then nodded slightly:

"Alright… I'll go with you."

She immediately became as happy as a child who had received candy, and pulled me up:

"Then we have to go shopping right away! My son must be the most outstanding person tonight!"

I quickly held her back:

"Mom, I have a lot of things already… no need to buy anymore."

She paused for a moment, then grabbed my hand and pulled me away, smiling and saying:

"No! My son must be the most radiant! He cannot be dressed carelessly!"

Then she suddenly blinked, and said in a sad voice:

"Or… you don't like me? Am I bothering you?"

I was startled, and quickly replied:

"A Tuong doesn't find me annoying… he's just afraid I'll get tired."

She looked at me for a moment and then smiled brightly:

"Are you telling the truth? Or are you lying to me?"

I smiled and replied:"I'm telling the truth. A Tuong loves you the most in the world."

Hearing that, she was so happy that her eyes seemed to light up:

"Then… come shopping with me~"

I couldn't refuse anymore. In the end, my mother took me to a series of famous clothing stores, preparing the perfect outfit for me for tonight's auction.
