Subaru looked and found Emilia sleeping peacefully, her head resting on her chest,

Subaru blushed as he remembered last night.

He blushed at the memory.

Subaru sighed as he grabbed Emilia's shoulder and slowly shook her.

Emilia slowly opened her eyes and blushed.

She looked around the room and found her clothes slowly putting them on as Subaru couldn't take his eyes off her. He had noticed something. She was practically glowing.

Subaru got his new clothes and put them back on as the two left the room.
Clerk: (Damn... those two were really going at it last night.)
Subaru: [Um hey. Checking out.]

Subaru and Emilia arrived back at the Natsuki household as Kenichi let them in. He noticed the embarrassed expressions on their faces and smirked.

Naoko seemed to notice as well pulling Subaru off to the side.
Naoko: [Please tell me you used protection.
Subaru: [Well... um... she kinda sprung it on me out of nowhere so...]
Naoko sighed in exasperation.
Naoko: [You didn't... do it inside right]
Subaru: [Of course not!]
Naoko sighed in relief.
Naoko: [Go buy condoms. Now!]
Subaru: [Huh? Why right now!]
Naoko: [I'd love to have granaries but Emilia-chan doesn't understand this world well enough yet.]
Subaru: [I know. I won't let us rush into things too quickly.]
Naoko: [Remember when you become a parent everything starts to fly out of control.]

Naoko smiled.

Naoko: [We need to buy presents for her.]

He said this as he held out a box with a phone.

Subaru laughed slightly.
Subaru: [Hey it's still 2 weeks away. You've got plenty of time.]
Kenichi walked over.
Kenichi: [Hey. What's going on?]
Naoko explained.
Kenichi: [Subaru you cheater!]
Subaru: [Hey come on. This wasn't a competition in the first place!]

Emilia walked downstairs. All the lights were off.

Emilia was shocked but then smiled.
Emilia: [Eh? Wait right! It is my birthday. How could I forget?]
Subaru smiled holding a party hat, in his hands. He walked up and placed it on Emilia's head.
Subaru: [Happy birthday Mili.]
Emilia: [Thank you Subaru.]
Emilia smiled genuinely as they sat down at a table with a cake.
Subaru: [Blow out the candles and make a wish Emilia-tan.]
Emilia: (I wish to have a happy family with Subaru.)
Emilia blew out the candles as the Natsuki family clapped.
Beatrice: [Its time to cut the cake, I suppose.]
Subaru handed Emilia the knife.
Subaru: [Cut the cake Mili.]
Emilia cut a slice as she lifted it towards Subaru.
Emilia: [Ahhhh.]
Subaru: [Mili. You're supposed to have the first bite.]
Emilia: [Then... then feed me a piece.]
Subaru blushed.
Naoko: [Oh my...]
Kenichi: [Flirting in front of everyone now are you?]
Emilia blushed.
Emilia: [It's not flirting. I um...]
Subaru took the piece of cake and lined it up as Emilia took a bite, as she did Subaru squished the cake into her face.
Emilia: [Eh?!!!]
Subaru held in a laugh. Kenichi and Naoko didn't.
Emilia: [Subaru!!!]
Subaru: [Sorry it's just... the look on your face.]
Emilia pouted, turning her head away as Subaru lined up another cake slice towards her mouth. She turned around and took a bite.
Emilia: [Its reaaally good... but I'm still angry at you.!]
Subaru could hold it in any longer as he laughed.
Subaru: [You're just so cute Mili!]
Emilia sat there fuming in adorable rage.
Subaru: [Well then. How about some presents. Will that change your mood?]
EmilIa's eyes lit up.
Emilia: [Presents?]
Subaru gave her a box in wrapping paper as she slowly opened it, making sure to be careful not to rip it.
Emilia: [Is this... a phone?]
Subaru: [Yep.]
Emilia: [Whoa! It looks really pretty!]
Subaru smirked.
Subaru: [I had it specially made.]
Emilia hugged Subaru, kissing him.
Subaru: [So am I forgiven?]
Emilia: [Okiee. I forgive you.]
Kenichi and Naoko laughed at this when Beatrice stepped forward.
Beatrice: [Betty had some trouble thinking of a present for you but after asking to Subaru, Betty thought this may be something you like.
Beatrice gave her a small box as Emilia opened it. It was a phone accessory shaped like Subaru as Emilia's eyes lit up with stars and she hugged Beatrice lifting her into the air.
Beatrice: [Wait! What are you doing, I suppose?!!]
Emilia: [Thank you so much Beako! I love you!]
Beatrice blushed in embarrassment as Emilia finally let her down.
Beatrice: [Betty is... glad you liked it, I suppose.]
Naoko stepped forward and held out a box to Emilia.
Emilia: [Oh. Thank you.]
Emilia opened it to find a diary.
Naoko: [I always liked writing down the small moments of the day in a diary. I think it helped me get through everything after Subaru was...]
She couldn't bring herself to say it as her face showed pain. Subaru winced at this a little.
Emilia: [Thank you. I'll treasure it. I know that these pages will be filled one day.]
Naoko smiled as Kenichi handed Natsumi to Beatrice and grabbed a big box and walking Oliver to Emilia.
Emilia: [Eh?]
Kenichi: [This is my present.]
Emilia held it with ease as she began opening it. It was a laptop.
Subaru: (She got a laptop before me huh? I'm a bit jealous but as long as it makes my EMT happy.)
Emilia: [Um... what is this?]
Subaru: [It's like my computer but smaller. You don't have to sit in the same spot to use it.]
Emilia: [Oh wow! That's reaaally cool!]
Kenichi and Naoko then held Natsuki who had a little box in her hands as they walked over to Emilia.
Natsumi: [Emi...]
Emilia: (She's so cute!!! Like a mini-Subaru!!!)
Naoko: [This is Natsumi's gift to you.]
Emilia took the small box.
Kenichi: [Go on. Open it.]
She opened it to find a keychain and a house key.
Kenichi: [Your own set of keys.]
Emilia smiled warmly.
Emilia: [Thank you for all the presents. This was an amazing birthday.]
Subaru: [It's not over yet Mili. The day has only just begun.]
Emilia: [Eh?]
Subaru: [Come on. Let's go.]
Subaru posed in front of the door.
Subaru: [To the Natsuki-mobile.]

The family got into the car.

Kenichi smiled.

Then they went to the ferris wheel. They sat down across from each other as they looked out the window.

Subaru said this but he was looking directly at Emilia.

Emilia made a shocked face as she smiled with some tears in her eyes.

Eventually the ride ended and it was time for them to get off as they made their way to one more stand.
Subaru: [A punching machine?]
Naoko, Kenichi, Beatrice and Natsumi caught up with them.
Kenichi: [It's time to go.]
Subaru: [One more machine.]
Kenichi: [Um sure.]
Subaru lined up his fist and punched the machine so hard it left a dent.

Subaru laughed a little.
Emilia: [My turn.]
Subaru: [Wait Emilia...]
She punched the machine as it completely broke.

Then Subaru took out an apron that says "I love my EMT" as he began to clean a kitchen and cook food for Emilia.

Kenichi: [We can set up a gravestone for them on another day, okay?]
Emilia nodded as she wiped her tears.
Subaru: [Now.. let's go home everyone.]
They all got into the car ready to go home.
Emilia: (Next year... I'll honor you properly, Mother Fortuna... Guese... Archie...)
They drove off.
