After receiving information from Nolan, Peter Parker immediately contacted the military.
At first, the military had not involved themselves in the crisis. But as the incidents caused by Carnage escalated, and especially after the symbiotes were confirmed to be extraterrestrial lifeforms, the military could no longer sit still.
When Peter relayed Nolan's message, the officers froze for a moment before reacting.
"Are you talking about the Terminators?"
"Terminator?"
Peter repeated the name quietly.
It was an intimidating name, fierce and uncompromising.
The officers quickly grew excited.
Peter was right. If the Terminators were deployed, they might actually be able to end this disaster.
They disliked superheroes. Superheroes made the military, and even the government, seem unnecessary.
But Terminators were different. They were weapons.
If these monsters that Spider-Man couldn't defeat could be handled by Terminators, then for the military, it would be the perfect outcome.
Even thinking about it made them impatient.
Within hours, massive numbers of Terminator units were mobilized from bases across the country.
This operation was not only a large-scale sweep. It was also the first true combat test of the Terminators.
The moment the symbiotes arrived, the world entered a new era.
Aliens were real. And with Earth's current level of power, if a large-scale extraterrestrial invasion ever took place, humanity might not even have the strength to resist.
Earth needed power.
And Locke Industries had become a company of world-changing significance.
This test mattered. It mattered immensely.
Meanwhile, Carnage had no idea that a full military operation had already begun against them.
He glared at the symbiotes around him, his expression filled with fury.
Because of Spider-Man's interference, his plans had been disrupted again and again. And Spider-Man's family had been fully protected. They had never come close to capturing them.
"This time, all of you are coming with me. I'm going to devour Spider-Man."
Carnage snarled.
Howler hesitated.
"Carnage, maybe we should "
Before he could finish, Carnage lunged forward and punched him hard.
Howler ignited with anger, but when he saw the murderous look in Carnage's eyes, he swallowed it down and lowered his head.
No one dared defy Carnage.
Here, Carnage was the only leader.
And this time, his plan was sound. The symbiotes had always acted separately, never in unison. Together, they could corner Spider-Man. Escape would be impossible.
Peter Parker continued his usual work as a superhero. Even with symbiotes threatening the city, life went on. He could not abandon the ideals he had always upheld.
Under the night sky, he crouched atop a tall building.
He loved these rooftops. Before becoming Spider-Man, he was afraid of heights. Now, thanks to his spider-sense, that fear had long disappeared.
From here, the entire city stretched out beneath him.
He could spot danger the moment it appeared.
Suddenly, his spider-sense screamed with intensity.
It had saved his life countless times. This time would be no different.
Without hesitation, Peter leapt off the building.
His web shot across the gap, catching the opposite structure. As he swung forward, he glanced back.
Four or five symbiotes stood together, eyes fixed on him.
The moment he fled, they gave chase.
Peter's heartbeat thundered.
So many symbiotes. If they caught him, escape would be almost impossible.
But instead of panic, his eyes showed a spark of anticipation.
He swung deliberately toward a deserted scrapyard.
Carnage watched him flee, murderous delight burning in his gaze.
No one would stop him tonight.
Peter landed in the scrapyard.
Carnage dropped down soon after.
"Where is he?"
He scanned the darkness. The yard was pitch black. Peter was nowhere in sight.
"Find him. Do not let him escape."
Carnage roared.
Tonight, Peter Parker would die.
The symbiotes split up, each searching in a different direction.
None of them noticed that their target was already behind Carnage, quietly watching him from above the wreckage.
Carnage suddenly spun around.
There, crouched on top of a rusted car, was Spider-Man.
"Spider-Man."
Greed flooded Carnage's eyes.
The other symbiotes raced toward them.
This time, Spider-Man had no escape.
Yet the calm expression on Peter's face unsettled Carnage.
Shaking off the unease, Carnage charged at him.
As long as he devoured Spider-Man, everything would be over.
But before he could reach him, a heavy metallic thud echoed across the yard.
A robot dropped between them.
Then seven or eight more landed one after another.
Carnage froze for an instant before grinning viciously.
So Spider-Man had reinforcements. No wonder he looked so confident.
But Carnage knew one truth.
No one in this world could save Spider-Man.
"Die!"
Carnage roared and lunged, not yet realizing these were machines.
The nearest T-800 met Carnage's punch head-on.
A thunderous crack echoed. The Terminator slid backward, sparks flying from its damaged right arm.
Carnage's strength was terrifying.
But it did not matter.
Terminator units did not fear pain or death. Their strength came from their construction. Their resolve came from their programming. No enemy, no matter how powerful, could make them back down.
Realizing Carnage's raw power, the T-800 instantly adjusted its combat strategy.
Carnage responded with a barrage of split tendrils.
Then he realized just how badly he had underestimated the situation.
He could defeat this one Terminator.
But this Terminator was not alone.
The surrounding units engaged simultaneously, overwhelming him.
Across the scrapyard, even more Terminators swarmed the other symbiotes, who shrieked in shock and fury.
One symbiote attempted to abandon its host and latch onto a Terminator.
The moment it touched cold steel instead of flesh, it weakened catastrophically.
Seconds later, it was eliminated.
The battle looked violent, but it lasted only a few minutes.
Except for Carnage, every symbiote was already neutralized.
Even Carnage, the strongest among them, felt fear rising as he struggled to break free.
He tried to escape.
But that was impossible.
Additional Terminators had already surrounded the entire scrapyard.
Against dozens of them, even Carnage could only fall.
Peter Parker stared in disbelief.
The Terminators were terrifying.
If he were in Carnage's place, the result would have been the same.
On the other side of the city, military commanders watched through live feeds, their faces glowing with excitement.
"Gentlemen, we just captured the future."
