The sound of water dripping on the shore, droplets of pure water running down the rock. On the beach, where the sky had turned grey and structures like buildings had collapsed, covering the area.
on the sand made from broken glass, the water hitting the body of a tall boy around 195cm, his white hair swaying from side to side with the breeze. His finger was covered in dark liquid, slowly running off his hands. Lifting his heavy body from the stinging sand, his head itching with pain and ears burning with a ringing sound. His head rose, and his gaze fixed on the grey sky. His eyes bled with a dark liquid, and his red X eyes glitched with lines of code running through his programs.
"Ugh... Where....?" He looked down, and a pistol and 2 magazines lay in front of him. A paper blown by the wind slapped his face. "James...." is the only word it said. He remembered what had happened that day, why his chest, missing the Core. James took the pistol, a Glock-17 with no attachments and a bit scratched.
"Did someone put it here?" he wondered. tuck the gun into his pocket and the remaining rounds. James stood up, looking around the strange place he at and moved forward. Got out of the glass sand and entered bricky surface. from the tall surface, below the wide sight, where there are only broken buildings and destroyed scenes. "God... how long did I sleep?" he walked forward, only to fall and hit the ground hard.
"What the... My Absolute solver... Great." Getting up nd dusting off "All my Systems lost their function."
He continued forward with no goal, besides an unknown question. "How do I get back?"
rustling inside a ruin, a store-looking building, behind the standing glass caught James's attention. He turned to the Shop building. Looking through the glass, checking what's behind it.
But all of a sudden, a strange Humanoid figure with sharp claws jumped through the glass. He quickly drew his weapon, but the creature bit his right arm with its razor blade Fangs. James dropped his pistol, and his arm was bitten in half. He kicked the creature away from his body. Luckily, his scanning system is still functional.
"No name..." its head like a hound, with a sharp edge like a helmet with sharp teeth. Its body looks like a mechanized skeleton with long limbs and animal-like legs with sharp ends. Claws that can easily slice through metal, and a tail that is like a dagger that can detach from each part.
James held his missing part, bleeding black blood. The monster jumped right at him, slashed. James ducked, letting it get closer. He did a spin kick and shattered its skull with a powerful kick. He then grabbed its neck and threw it into the old car. "Shit!" James snatched the Glock just before the monster charged toward him. It pinned him to the ground. Claws and mouth are trying to get a strike on his head. He pushed the gun into its head and fired 3 rounds through its skull. Seeing it only stunned the creature, he then aimed for the chest. and fired three more rounds at its heart, killing the monster.
The enemy vomits dark liquid on his body. and fell back onto the ground. "Yuck..." Its body was twitching on the ground. James got up and emptied the magazine. until it's finally stopped moving. He took the decapitated arm and reattached it.
"Great... This place can't possibly have one..." [regenerating process delayed / Require material]
James looks at the monster, and he pulls off its head with his inhuman strength. "I hope these things can help..." He drank the dark liquid inside the monster, due to his A.S current gone. The sky is falling darker all of a sudden, and the screaming of the damned begins to echo.
"Great... the time in this place is f##ked..." his wounds across his body burning with heat as they slowly healed. Reload and moving on, James sprinted forward into the night. His eyes turned on red night vision,
[detected multiple lines of sight aimed]
"Sh#t." he turned to the other direction. A beam shot past his head, and the force of the projectile knocked him to the ground. James quickly got up, and he found a crack on the ground big enough for his body to slide in. Another shot was fired as he managed to get into the underground. His jacket stuck back and ripped off his body, but it isn't the time to get it. James sprinted using all of the energy his body had. For the first time, he felt powerless and had to run like a coward.
maneuver along the narrow way, Crushing sounds chasing him from right behind, but he continued running despite his power to support his skeletal structure getting low. A ladder leading to the surface appeared in front of his eyes like the only hope. James stomped down and blasted up the ladder, gripping the handle, climbing as fast as he could. Something grabbed his shoe, he kicked it, and lost the right foot cover.
Resurface, James lifted a car and slammed it down into the hole. loud booming noise shaking the rusted car, telling him to hide. He gets into a tall skyscraper that seems stable, his pistol in his hands, finding his way upward in the tall building to find something that can recharge him.
From Floor 1 to 8, nothing but old food in containers, they gave him a bit of percentage, but not enough. Sometimes he even eats a few batteries around. And then, finally, he saw a monster like the one he had encountered before. "There you are..."
James snuck up on it while it was looking outside the place. He gave it a strike right through the heart, his fist shattered its spines, dug through the metal organ, and crushed the main core of it. The monster was twitching like crazy, but he lifted it and ripped the creature in half to drink its blood.
"64 percent, that should be enough to keep my body steady. Healing took too much energy."
He left the empty shell on the ground, then headed down. checking corners to see if there's any one of those machine monsters. The outside is quiet, but he knows they are looking for him. he found a back door outside, "Looks like a road in a city..." James took out his left shoe and spun it to choose a direction; the shoe's head pointed to the right. He looked at the long road forward, letting out a tired sigh before walking with a gun held firmly in his hand, his bare feet stepping on the stone road filled with debris, the sight of the pitch black night giving him a chilling sensation among the broken houses and buildings. And most of all, there is not a single animal or living thing in sight besides those creatures.
passing through the endless ruin, he found himself stopping inside a rundown gas station.
"These buildings in this place are so old, just like in the past." He chewed on an old beef jerky. "How long til this place is gonna be lit up? It's been hours."Yuck, this tastes like mold..."
James then left the station. Just as he stepped outside, a monster across the street saw him, it growled loudly, and ran to him. James gets into his fighting stance. The creature jumped right at him. James was ready to strike with a punch, but when he was about to, Something shot through the creature's heart. a loud bang of a weapon, the creature was completely shattered into pieces.
The light begins to return. He turned in the direction from which the shot was coming. a figure of a lady, in armor, her long hair flew in the air with the cold wind as the light shone on her body.
"Come with me if you want to live!"
"Who-"
The rumblings started once more, from afar, a horde of them rushing to the noise of her gun. "Now! Come with me!"
James Super jumped to the building where she stood. His hands slipped from the edge, but she grabbed on and pulled him up just in time before the horde passed by with none of them being seen.
"Welcome to the Broken world, New guy."
