But he was not able to proceed to the garage because his entire family had gathered in the living room, including Becca. He sneaked a glance at his grandma. She shook her head, signaling that today was not the right time to leave.

"Son, come here and join us for a chit chat," Luna Adela said, beckoning her son to sit beside her on the sofa.
Alpha Maxwell sighed inwardly and sat on the sofa beside his mother. He glanced at his grandmother who took a deep breath and rolled her eyes, as if saying they were caught before they could leave the house.
"Where is Deborah?" Alpha Nelson asked.
"She is in my bedroom taking care of our son," Alpha Maxwell replied.
Alpha Nelson smiled. "I see, you two already get along fine. No problem, right? We should resume discussing the wedding now that we're all gathered here enjoying family time."
