Chapter 4 - The Wild Heiress

Recap of Chapter 2:

After conquering Madam Selena, Losty's first sugar mommy, the system pointed him toward Lady Vivienne, the iron-willed Business Queen of Sex World. In The Golden Fang, he matched her sharp wit with bolder words, winning her intrigue and unlocking his new skill, Silver Tongue. Vivienne did not surrender easily, but she laughed—a rare victory in itself. By dawn, the system had revealed his next target: Cassandra, the Wild Heiress, a woman said to be as dangerous as she was untamed.

The city whispered her name as if it were fire—Cassandra, daughter of a dead warlord and heir to an empire of smuggling routes, hidden fortunes, and private armies. She was young, reckless, and untouchable. Some said she drank with pirates, others swore she wrestled lions in her father's abandoned arenas. No man claimed her; those who tried ended up ruined or missing.

Losty heard the stories, and instead of fear, he felt only hunger.

The system's voice cut into his thoughts:

[New Target: Cassandra – The Wild Heiress]

Difficulty: High

Rewards: Double Affection Gain, Unlock Special "Wild Bond" Skill.

He tracked her to the Stormbreaker Arena, where nobles, thieves, and mercenaries gathered to watch bloodsport. The scent of sweat, iron, and fire filled the air as men fought beasts in cages for coin and glory.

And there she was.

Cassandra lounged at the edge of the fighting pit, leather boots crossed, scarlet cloak brushing the sand. Her hair was black fire, tumbling down her shoulders, and her eyes glowed like stormlight. She leaned forward, shouting encouragement to a fighter locked in a brawl with a wolf, her voice raw and fearless.

Losty couldn't help but grin. "Wild, indeed."

He stepped into the crowd, pushing his way closer. Men noticed him—some recognized him from Selena's mansion, others from whispers of his daring at The Golden Fang. But Cassandra noticed no one until the wolf crashed into the sand, defeated.

She laughed, throwing her arms up like she had won herself. Then her eyes landed on Losty.

"You're blocking my view," she said bluntly.

Losty didn't move. "Maybe I'm the better show."

Gasps rose from the crowd. No one dared to talk to her like that.

Cassandra stood, stepping close, her boots crunching in the sand. She was taller than him by an inch, her aura radiating danger. She tilted her head, studying him as if he were prey.

"You've got guts," she said. "Most men whimper when I look at them."

"And do you like them better when they whimper?" Losty asked, lips curling.

Her smirk widened. "No. I like them better when they bleed."

The system chimed.

Cassandra grabbed him by the collar and dragged him straight into the pit. The crowd roared in laughter and disbelief as she shoved a dagger into his hand.

"Fight me," she said. "If you lose, you crawl out of here like a dog. If you win, maybe I'll buy you a drink."

Losty twirled the dagger casually, smirking. "Careful, Cassandra. If I win, I won't stop at a drink."

The system chimed again.

[Affection +10% | Current: 15%]

What followed wasn't a duel—it was chaos. Cassandra fought like a storm unleashed, her strikes wild yet precise, her laughter echoing over the arena. Losty matched her not with brute force but with speed, wit, and well-timed taunts.

At one point, their blades locked. She pressed close, eyes burning with feral delight.

"You're not afraid?" she demanded.

"Of you?" Losty whispered. "I've been waiting for you."

For the first time, her grin faltered—just for a heartbeat—before she shoved him back with a laugh.

The fight ended in no clear victor, but Cassandra raised his hand before the crowd. "This one isn't boring!" she shouted.

The arena roared approval.

The system chimed in triumph.

Later that night, Cassandra dragged him into a tavern, slamming mugs of ale onto the table. Her laughter shook the walls, and her eyes never left his.

"Losty," she said, tasting his name like wine. "Don't die too soon. I think you might actually keep up with me."

Losty smirked, leaning back. "I'm not here to keep up. I'm here to tame the storm."

The system hummed its satisfaction.

[Quest Progress: 2/3 Sugar Mommies Acquired]

[Final Target to Unlock Sugar Palace: The Shadow Duchess.]

Losty raised his mug, eyes gleaming. "Then the game begins."
