After the rapid escape from the dangerous city of Tolos, I found myself leisurely cruising through the sky with Daario, Grey Worm and the awake 'Aegon' still in the boat in my hands.
I half-expected him to throw a tantrum, but it appears he understands just how fucked he is if he messes with my concentration and makes me let go of the boat.
Well, that and he was more mesmerized by my beautiful scales, which I did not mind as one more awed worshipper did wonders for my ego.
"So, Drogon! Where did you hide yourself this past month?!" I lowered my head as I heard Daario shout, glancing at him before shaking my head as I looked back up.
"OLD VALYRIA."
"Old Valyria, eh? Am I correct in assuming that you found a few nice Valyrian Steel swords?"
"TOO MANY TO CARRY SO I HID THEM."
"...Wait, you actually found Valyrian Steel weapons?" He asked with wide eyes, 'Aegon' looking just as stunned while Grey Worm did his best to hide his shock as I nodded.
"MANY WERE JUST LYING AROUND. I TOOK WHAT I CAN AND LEFT WHAT I COULDN'T!"
"So, you wouldn't mind parting with a sword or two, right?"
"WE'LL LET MOTHER DECIDE," I responded with a smirk, letting out a rumbling laugh at his downtrodden expression before I finally reached our first destination.
"HOLD ON!" I growled as I began to fly low, Darrio and Grey Worm steadying both themselves and 'Aegon' as we descended into a forested area near the base of the mountain range.
"Drogon, where are we?"
"SECRET CAVE FOR WEAPONS," I responded as I walked to the cave in question, biting down on the hollowed-out tree and pulling it out.
Their eyes then widened while I preened at the assortment of Valyrian Steel swords, daggers, short shorts, ankhs, spears and many other weapons stacked inside of it, Daario turning his head to me.
"When you said a lot, I didn't expect it to be...this."
"I HAD A MONTH TO TRANSFER IT HERE. IT TOOK A LOT OF SLEEPLESS NIGHTS."
"I can only guess how many. Wait, how are you going to carry this and us?"
"SIMPLE. YOU PUT THE WEAPONS IN THE BOAT, CLIMB ONTO MY BACK AND I'LL CARRY THE BOATS."
"...Aegon goes in between us?" Daario asked, Grey Worm nodding in agreement before they lifted and dumped 'Aegon' out with little care.
"Oi! If you're going to kidnap someone, at least do it gracefully."
"...Nah. Anyway, if your mother does let us keep one, I want the li-"
"NOT THE LION ONE. THAT WILL BE IMPORTANT TO MOTHER, I THINK," I interrupted him, staring at the shimmering edge of Brightroar as Daario frowned. I was very surprised when I had found the sword just stuck on the beach, its golden lion motifs having lost most of its luster as sea and sun had eroded it heavily.
Still, it was a very good weapon and it also be quite the bargaining chip for when Mother does finally make it to Westeros.
After all, I know House Lannister would love nothing more than to have their ancestral sword back.
"Wait, is that...? That is House Lannister's Brightroar! Wait, Griff said that it was lost in Old Valyria...which is where you were. Did you find that, great Drogon?"
"FIRSTLY, JUST DROGON. SECONDLY...YES. YES, I DID."
"Oi, stop acting smug and start helping," Daario spoke with a frown, rolling his eyes as I just scoffed while holding a wing atop 'Aegon's' head.
"HAVE TO STOP HIM FROM TRYING TO RUN AWAY."
"Why would I do that? I want to meet my aunt. I want to see if our objectives align with one another's."
"AND IF THEY DON'T?" I asked, nibbling at one wing to get that sweet itching spot in-between the scales as 'Aegon' gave a shrug.
"Then, I can only hope that she gives me a merciful death."
"MOTHER WON'T KILL FAMILY."
"Uh-uh. That's for your mother to decide if he is family or not."
"HE FEELS LIKE MOTHER," I responded and that wasn't a lie. Ever since I picked them up, I got the same warm and sweet scent from 'Aegon' that I got from Daenerys.
Hers was simply a mixture of cinnamon, ash and blood while his was more citrussy...with ash and blood.
'Wait, is citrussy even the right word? Sounds like I'm trying say the orange has an -ussy. The citrussy. Heh, do I miss the cringe and jokes of my old world? And my family and my dogs...and my friends and every-Nope! Not going down that path!'
"NOPE!"
"Nope, what?" Daario asked, making me blink as I saw all three looking at me. 'Aegon' seemed more confused and intrigued by my reaction while Daario and Grey Worm looked more on guard.
"NOTHING. JUST DAYMARES OF FIGHTING FIREWYRMS FOR THE PAST MONTH."
"Right, those are supposed to be as powerful as you dragons. I do not envy you for that, my friend," Daario spoke with a chuckle, Grey Worm looking more relaxed as well as the two finished transferring the weapons.
As they did, I just kept my mind calm, making sure that I did not descend into the dark hole that was thinking about my old life.
That was gone. I don't know if I'm ever getting it back, but if even if I could, I was not going back. Here, I was a fire-breathing dragon with the added powers of the Thu'um. Back home, I was nothing more than a guy that knew how to write decent stories.
Here, I was worshipped. Back home, I struggled to find even a way to spend the night without it resorting to wanking one out or exercising at three in the morning while everyone was asleep.
Here...here, I had a purpose. My goal was to make Daenerys Queen while having my own adventures along the way and after that, it was to fuck around for the rest of what was left of my lifespan.
Therefore, I don't want to worry about what I could have had in my past life. Instead, I want to focus on what I could have in this one.
'That's how I'm going to live from now on and nothing is going to change that,' I thought, looking at Daario and Grey Worm to see them putting the last sword in.
"Okay, Drogon. All set," Daario spoke and I nodded, crouching down slightly to let him hop on. 'Aegon' was then helped up by Grey Worm before the Unsullied was the last to climb up, waiting until the three of them were settled in.
"EVERYONE READY?" I asked, all three nodding before I flapped my wings and rose into the air. My claws sunk back into the holes I made in the wood before I rose up, taking it slow so as to not let anything fall.
"THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG JOURNEY SO I'D SUGGEST YOU PREPARE YOURSELF," I spoke, waiting until all three murmured their agreements before I began making my way back to Meereen.

The sun shone down on us as I drifted in the air, narrowing my eyes at Meereen in the distance.
"Well, that's not good," I heard Daario murmur over the wind, staring down at the army gathered outside Meereen's walls.
I could make the flags of Astapor as well as the Golden Company and New Ghis, making me growl as I turned and began flying around to the back of the city.
Unfortunately, the army had fully surrounded the city, leaving it cut off and stopping anyone from entering or exiting.
"What's the plan here?", I heard Daario ask, to which I frowned before I flew up high.
"HOLD ON TIGHT! WULD NAH KEST!" As the three held on tight, the world around us whipped as I dove down, shouting at the right moment when I saw the scorpions being turned up towards me.
Ignoring the surprised shouts from Daario and 'Aegon', I tucked my wings in and continued diving, taking a deep breath before flaring out my wings as I got behind the largest pyramid.
The people of Meereen looked both exhausted and starving. Yet, when they saw me touch down, their faces lit up, some whispering 'Black Guardian' as I let Daario and Grey Worm climb down with our prisoners.
Two screeches drew my attention, making me turn only to frown when I saw my sisters touch down. Unlike how the month has been for me, it has not been good for them as I saw their malnourished state.
It wasn't to the point where I could see their skeleton or anything, but the sight of their dull scales and the sunken sides of their maw made me frown.
A snarl escaped my lips when I saw Mother exiting the pyramid, looking absolutely starving and sickly as I crawled forward.
"MOTHER."
"D-Drogon? Oh, it's good to see you," She rasped as she walked forward, moving forward to not let her move around much as I placed my snout against her chest.
"WHAT HAPPENED?"
"It's...Astapor. They managed to make an alliance with New Ghis and the Golden Company to launch a full-scale siege against us. They almost shot down your sisters if I didn't call them down in time."
"Well, then it's a good thing we have him," Daario spoke as he pushed 'Aegon' forward, who had a slight smile on his face as Mother's eyes turned to him. Her gaze sharpened as she walked forward, using me as support to get closer.
"So, you are my brother's supposed son that survived the Sacking of King's Landing?"
"That I am. I have to admit that I expected us to meet in better circumstances."
"So do I. Do you believe that you can call the army off?"
"No. Considering that both New Ghis and Astapor are here, they most likely paid the Company to help them. That means that they're going to be more focused on fulfilling their orders instead of worrying about mine," He responded, to which Mother frowned before she turned to me as I let out a rumble.
"What is it?"
"DO YOU WISH FOR ME TO ANNIHILATE THE ARMIES?"
"No. You can't ta-"
"MOTHER," I cut her off, Mother looking at me as I looked her and spoke once more.
"DO YOU WISH FOR ME TO ANNIHILATE THE ARMIES? JUST ASK," I spoke, the woman holding her gaze before I smiled as she nodded.
"Only if it is possible without you needing to risk your life."
"IT IS," I nodded and she gave a soft smile as she took a step back, letting me shake my body loose before I took a deep breath.
"GOL! HAH! DOV!" The air of Meereen exploded as I let out a deafening shout, the ground trembling under me as my voice echoed across the entirety of Meereen and beyond.
With another roar, I shot up into the air, rising higher and higher until I could see the entirety of Meereen and the army at her walls. Well, the army of slaves is the more correct term given that all of them stood in place.
"ALL WHO BEND TO MY WILL! KILL YOURSELVES!" My voice bellowed and I grinned as I saw them all picking up any sharp object they could find. The next moment, they slit their throats wide open and clarity returned to their minds as I could make out the horror settling in.
"GOL! HAH! DOV!" I roared again, forcing them to stay in place and feel the last of their life fading away without any way to retaliate.
With that done, I floated down to the ground, landing in front of the stunned crowd before bowing my head.
"MOTHER, YOUR ENEMIES ARE GONE."

"Oh, look at you. Aren't you the sweetest thing~?" I watched as Aegon sat in front of Rhaenys, who let out pleased purrs from the young man scratching the underside of her maw.
Thankfully, Visenya was a lot more cautious of him, staying close to Mother with a furrowed brow as I laid in between the two of them.
"Rhaenys, be more wary around him."
"But he's so nice! And he smells like Mother, but sweeter~"
"Brother."
"I am not interfering with this. You two are on your own," I responded with a shrug, both of them huffing as Mother and Aegon looked at me.
"VISENYA WANTS RHAENYS TO BE MORE WARY OF YOU WHILE RHAENYS SAYS THAT SHE NEEDS TO BE MORE RELAXED."
"Well, Visenya, there is no need for you to be wary of me. If I was a threat, Drogon would not have led me live for as long as I have."
"THAT IS TRUE," I nodded in agreement, Aegon chuckling at my blunt response while Mother smiled amusedly.
"That does not mean I will relax around him. He may act nice now, but there is a chance that he will betray us."
"IF HE DOES BETRAY US, SISTER, YOU HAVE FREE REIGN TO EAT HIM," I spoke out loud, Aegon blinking at our words before he looked nervous when Visenya turned to him with a fanged grin.
"I'll hold you to that, brother."
"A-Ahem! Anyway, Daenerys, what happens now?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I was told that you had something planned for me by your vassals?"
"DAARIO AND GREY WORM," I clarified, the woman humming as she looked back at Aegon before shaking her head.
"For now, we just finished a war. Therefore, we'll wait until everyone is ready to hold that meeting. Until then, Drogon, could you perhaps keep track of him?"
"I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO," I answered, Mother giving a thankful smile before I watched as she stood up.
"Enjoy yourself for the time being. I'm certain Drogon will show you around, yes?"
"NO, I'M GOING TO GO SLEEP," I responded, Mother rolling her eyes with an amused look as she stood up. With a final smile, she walked away, Rhaenys and Visenya following after her.
"So, what is there to do here?" Aegon asked as he looked at me and I raised an eyebrow before I stretched.
"COME. WE SHALL DO 'GET HELP'."
"What's that?"
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
"HELP ME!"
"AHAHAHAHA!" Daenerys just felt exasperated as she saw her son flying through the air, throwing Aegon around in the air and catching him at the last second.
If it was Rhaenys or Visenya, she would have stopped them from doing so, but considering that this was her oldest child and the most responsible of the three, she decided to just leave it be.
"Drogon has grown significantly in just the month that he's been away from here," Ser Barristan spoke and Daenerys had to agree as she saw his sisters flying together.
While the two of them had gotten bigger, Drogon was nearly twice their size and that made her wonder whether that blood magic ritual had more of an effect on him than the others.
'They are aging at a far faster speed than most dragons are said to in the history books, but Drogon's growth rate is extraordinary.'
"Along with that, I've noticed a few faint scars on his scales. Where did you say he was, Daario?"
"Old Valyria. That is also where we got the Valyrian Steel weapons from," Daario responded, patting his two new Valyrian Steel shortswords while Grey Worm gripped his Valyrian Steel spear.
"I am still surprised that he managed to find that blade of all blades," Daenerys murmured, staring at the ancestral sword of House Lannister lying on the table.
"So are we, your Grace, but at the same time, this will most definitely help you tremendously in persuading House Lannister to join your side."
"You believe that I will do so? No, I know better than to trust a Lannister, especially after the Sacking of King's Landing," Daenerys spoke with a shake of her head and Barristan sighed.
"As much as I agree with your words, your Grace, Tywin Lannister and House Lannister are unofficially the rulers of Westeros at this current moment.
Therefore, you either try to make an ally of them or you make an ally of the people that hate them the most."
"House Martell," Daenerys murmured, Ser Barristan nodding in agreement before she looked at Missandei.
"Missandei, start preparations for our journey to Pentos. I wish to actually meet this Illyrio before I make my decision."
"Decision on what, Khaleesi?" Daario asked, Daenerys turning her gaze to the city of Meeren outside befor she responded.
"The decision to stay here and take over Essos or go to Westeros and claim my birthright.
A/N: And we end it off here! Now, we have a bit of a conundrum on our hands. We could continue on the same path and go to Westeros or we can just ignore that entirely and take over Essos.
Decisions, decisions.
