Chapter 122 - Arcane Solutions: Shop-Chapter 122: Fireworks Show, Tony's Disappearance

Tony smugly explained these were all made during his forced study sessions to pass time. That period was an inspiration explosion—each suit had small differences. Some focused on speed, others on firepower, still others on strength. He had everything imaginable and some things unimaginable.

George looked sideways. "Our new product is about to appear, just waiting for dark. Your new product only shows itself to you—how long will you keep showing off?"

Tony was about to retort when the fireplace whooshed with green flames. Gemini appeared with messy hair, holding a book at least 5 centimeters thick, still muttering to herself.

Tony and George immediately lowered their heads and stepped aside. Hansen covered her mouth in surprise, nearly crying out.

After Gemini arrived, people gradually came through the fireplace or the front door.

Sun Xiaoxiao flew directly onto Tony's terrace, jumped off her flying sword, and walked inside complaining. "Really can't understand how you Americans make such a big fuss. Our Central Land Daoist temples are nearly trampled flat. Some people seeking immortal fate are running into deep mountains—we have to arrange people to secretly rescue them. Ridiculous!"

Tony smiled and greeted her. "How's the business we introduced you to?"

Only then did Sun Xiaoxiao smile. "Thank you so much! Giving us such a big magical state project—this is magical work. We're much more skilled at this than decorating your tower. Expected completion in two years, fully ready for occupancy. If you want early occupancy, that's possible too—we've already built part of it!"

Then Sun Xiaoxiao noticed Gemini huddled in the corner. "My god, what happened to you?"

Gemini looked up after a while. "Oh, it's you. I'm about to take exams. I feel like I don't have enough time." She lowered her head back to her book.

Sun Xiaoxiao swallowed. "What exam could make her like this?"

George stroked his chin. "Probably like your country's graduate entrance exam or civil service exam."

Sun Xiaoxiao immediately understood, looked sympathetically at Gemini, and stopped disturbing her.

"What new product are you showing today? What's with those helicopters outside?" Sun Xiaoxiao asked.

George smiled mysteriously. "Don't rush, it's almost time! Everyone will be here soon!"

As he finished speaking, the Kowalski family arrived via Portkey. Everyone was finally assembled. After greetings, George led everyone to the terrace.

"Welcome everyone!" George said.

"Now we present to you!" Fred suddenly appeared beside George.

"Weasley Fireworks—New Product! Chinese Style!" they said simultaneously.

"We must thank our Miss Sun!" Fred continued.

"She provided us with various mysterious Chinese pictures!" George said.

"That's how we got our new product!" they continued together. "Without further ado! Let's begin!"

They bowed to everyone. The crowd cheered appreciatively. The armed helicopters flying around outside Tony's house were like invited performers, completely unaware of the excitement here.

George took out his wand, made a stylish flourish, aimed at the cliff outside the villa. "Ready? The fireworks show begins now!"

Whoosh! Bang! Pop!

Fireworks shot from the cliff edge, illuminating the bay where the villa sat. Colorful fireworks exploded in the sky, forming beautiful flowers.

Several sparks spiraled and hit those flying helicopters, exploding into a giant Chinese dragon head that devoured the helicopters with bared fangs and claws, burped a few times, then spat out debris.

"Oh, how savage." Jacob watched with interest, not bothering to ask who was in those helicopters. He was an experienced No-Maj—anyone treated like this by Iron Man couldn't be good people. Obviously impossible.

After exploding, the fireworks didn't dissipate but began chasing and playing in mid-air, occasionally exploding again. Some merged to form mythical beasts made of fireworks.

Sun Xiaoxiao excitedly introduced them to nearby people. "Look! That's Zouwu! Chinese! Oh my! And Yingzhao! That's not a centaur! It's Yingzhao!! Also Chinese! Look! And Qingluan!! Oh my! I must place an order! This is so perfect for us!"

Finally, those armed helicopters were hit one by one by the firework beasts, becoming debris that fell to the seabed. The fireworks show was over.

The invited guests applauded enthusiastically and placed many orders with George. The biggest was naturally Sun Xiaoxiao's—after all, China's major holidays like New Year, Mid-Autumn, and Lantern Festival all needed lots of fireworks. George received orders until his hands were sore, grinning from ear to ear.

Tony had Jarvis prepare food when George mentioned evening activities, setting up a buffet in the living room. After everyone ate and drank well, they said their goodbyes.

Hansen got a free meal and was arranged in a guest room far from them. They couldn't kick her out late at night, right?

After washing up, Tony lazily leaned on the bed, casually flipping through a magazine, listening to Pepper's shower. The attackers had been dealt with—who knew what kind of people would come next, and how? Surely not a direct missile? The Vice President controlling the military was their person now—that shouldn't be possible. Speaking of which, wasn't Pepper taking too long in the shower?

Thinking this, Tony threw down his magazine and walked toward the bathroom, feeling uneasy.

"JARVIS! Open the door!" Tony kicked the door while shouting.

"Sir... there... is..." JARVIS's voice became choppy. Tony got angry, suddenly remembering he was a wizard. He pulled out his wand, aimed at the bathroom door. "Alohomora!"

The glass door bounced against the wall, immediately shattering.

Tony entered the bathroom warily with his wand raised. Empty—only jewelry on the sink. Pepper had been kidnapped!

Tony immediately found the interference source—a blue unknown energy body on his windowsill. If he hadn't been interfered with when calling JARVIS, no one would have discovered this energy block's magnetic field interference ability.

George quickly arrived. After some detection, he frowned. "It's a triggered Portkey. Magic was cast on the comb—whoever touched it first would be taken away. That's why we received no information."

Tony slammed the sink hard. He'd checked all the jewelry—almost all pieces containing safe house Portkeys were here. Only one earring on Pepper's ear survived. But since they had someone who could make Portkeys, who knew if it would be discovered? If discovered, Pepper would be completely in their hands.

"Sir! Detecting unknown..." JARVIS's words cut off halfway, disappearing again. The house lights began flickering.

George's expression turned serious. He gripped his wand tightly, pulled Tony against the wall, and whispered, "Where's your armor? Can you put it on quickly? Wear the magical series—the Mark series is just a target when wizards get the chance!"

Tony touched his belt. "No problem. I had someone help modify the belt Gemini gave me. The magical series armor is always with me!"

"Then put it on! I'll watch for you!" George stepped forward, shielding Tony.

"Tony! Pepper!" Hansen's panicked voice came from outside. "What's happening?"

Neither Tony nor George made a sound—one carefully watching the door and windows, the other quietly taking out his magical armor.

Suddenly, bright light flashed from outside. Tony instinctively squinted but was too late—the strong light left his vision blurry. George's roar rang out: "Protego Totalum!"

Black shadows streaked through the house. Tony, blinded by the glaring light, could only hear George's roars and strange hoarse incantations.

Finally managing to put on his armor while still unable to see clearly, Tony chose to let JARVIS operate directly, Apparating with George and instantly changing positions several times. The black shadows pursued them until they reached a street away from the shop. Tony's vision finally recovered. Seeing the nearby shop, Tony pushed George. "Run! I have armor! I can hold them off! Go call for help! Hulk's in the shop!"

George obediently ran toward the shop. This wasn't time for some "we leave together" drama—he had to get there quickly and bring reinforcements!

Bang!

A black light flew toward George. In George's terrified gaze, Tony blocked his path. The black light hit Tony, forming a crack that sucked Tony in and made him disappear. Those black shadows were getting closer to George.

"HULK!" A roar sounded behind George. A green figure leaped and smashed down a black shadow. The other shadows' curses at Hulk were blocked by various protective items on him. Seeing no way out, all the black shadows Apparated away, leaving only George standing dazedly, staring where Tony had disappeared. Once again, he alone had survived.

Gemini came out of the shop, took George's hand, brought him inside, stuffed hot tea in his hands, then sat across from him. "Don't worry. He's fine. I divined it—dangerous but safe. This is something he must experience."

Hearing Gemini's words, George finally relaxed, shakily bringing the tea to his lips. "Fred, am I useless?"

Fred quietly stood beside George. "If we're talking useless, wouldn't that be me? At least you can fight alongside friends. I can only watch here, unable to do anything."

George closed his eyes. "Sorry, brother. You know what I mean."

Fred patted George's shoulder—his phantom hand passed through his body. Fred silently withdrew his hand. "I know. We're brothers, aren't we? Now we need to do something."

George straightened up. "Yes, we must do something. Find out those people's origins—definitely not ordinary wizards!"

Gemini watched the brothers' touching scene and got angry. "Are you done talking? Can you get lost now?!"

George sheepishly put down his cup. "Got any spare guest rooms? I think I need to stay over!"

Gemini rolled her eyes. "Coby! Take them to guest rooms! And don't disturb me until dawn!!"

Gemini stood up angrily and returned to her room. George saw Snape's shadow in Gemini's pajama-clad retreating figure!

As for Tony, after being hit by that black curse, his armor's self-protection activated. He fell into spatial turbulence, barely able to drift safely through the spatial chaos thanks to his magical armor's protection, until he saw a bright spot. Unable to react in time, Tony rushed toward that light.

Breaking through the spatial barrier, Tony received a strong impact. Only after seeing familiar trees and sky outside, confirming he was still on Earth and not swept to some random place, did he relax and pass out.

After who knows how long, Tony opened his eyes, feeling himself swaying gently. The trees and sky before him were slowly moving. Tony was dazed for a while before trying to sit up.

"Hey! You're awake?! I know you! You're Iron Man!" A cheerful voice sounded above Tony's head. "I don't know how to get you out, so I could only drag you along. Are you okay? Why were you in the wilderness? If I'd found you any later, you might have frozen to death!"

Tony looked toward the voice to see a boy about 12 years old using rope to tie his armor, struggling to walk forward. Below was white snow everywhere. Wooden boards under the armor let even a child drag this armor that adults normally couldn't move.

"I think I am Iron Man. Could you stop first? Where is this?" Tony struggled to lift his hand, found JARVIS had disconnected, and could only manually release the armor. Tony in short sleeves rolled directly into the snow, shivering from cold.

The boy quickly dropped his rope, pulled a down jacket from his backpack and handed it to Tony. "This is my dad's clothes. Put it on first!"

"I'm Harley Keener. This is Tennessee," Harley said, watching Tony shiver as he put on the clothes.
