Back at the shop, Gemini immediately ordered Coby to prepare a banquet. Harry didn't plan to stay long—he wanted to leave before it even started.
"Why? Did I do something wrong to make you angry?" Gemini asked, confused.
Harry smiled and patted Gemini's head. "Not at all. I just realized today that you've truly grown up. You can use magic of that level now, so I won't worry as much. With MACUSA pulling this stunt, as Auror Department Head, I have to go back and keep watch. If America succeeds, it'll be huge for the wizarding world. I can't miss it."
Gemini looked regretfully at the menu. She'd had Coby prepare lots of Chinese cuisine specifically for Harry. "Since it's business, I can't stop you. I'll save the new dishes for Christmas!"
Harry laughed heartily. "Great, I'll be waiting! Don't forget—you still have a coming-of-age ceremony in June."
Gemini looked glum while seeing Harry off. Honestly, she didn't want to hold a coming-of-age ceremony—she just wanted to quietly celebrate her birthday with people she knew. But she carried the Black family name, so the ceremony couldn't be neglected. Coming of age meant officially taking over the Black family, becoming its head instead of just the heir.
Turning around, Gemini pushed the matter aside and focused on arranging tonight's banquet, sending a note to Tony who was busy supporting MACUSA.
Shortly after Harry left, the Parker family was returned by Portkey. Peter exclaimed excitedly about the thrill—traveling between Earth's ends in one day. Though he hadn't gone outside to look, he felt incredibly cool and immediately ran to his room to call Ned and brag.
Ben smiled at Peter's retreating figure. "He should get his letter this year, right?"
Gemini stroked her chin, calculating. "That's right. I should hold my coming-of-age ceremony in June. We'll go together and stay in Britain for a while, send Peter to school, then come back. That way it's convenient, and Peter can get used to living in Britain."
Ben had no objections and didn't specially thank her. Their family owed Gemini far more than this. They'd already decided that even after Peter graduated, they'd follow Gemini.
May went to help Coby prepare the banquet. After some chaos, Coby disdainfully kicked May out of the kitchen, having her help set the table instead. Coby always prioritized Gemini. If Gemini liked this family, he'd treat them all as wizards. What did Muggle or wizard matter compared to Gemini?
Steve and Banner sat together, quietly discussing today's battle and those agents who'd appeared before Fury. They weren't stupid—combined with Fury's attitude, Steve knew something was definitely up.
Gemini didn't interfere. Though they were her employees, she wasn't a Dark Lord wanting to control even what underwear her subordinates wore. She wasn't that twisted. As long as Steve and Banner didn't betray her, Gemini was too lazy to manage what they did. Don't think she didn't know about Steve's side jobs—everything in this shop belonged to her. Who could really hide anything?
After Coby's busy day, he finally prepared the dinner as night fell.
Tony arrived excitedly with Pepper and Maria's portrait just on time. Natasha and Barton were also on the invitation list—according to Steve, they'd cooperated quite well.
Sun Xiaoxiao's voice over the communicator sounded like she was speeding across the ocean, her words becoming unintelligible gibberish. Gemini really couldn't understand and had to give up.
Everyone cheerfully greeted each other. Coby had prepared a huge round table that could seat over twenty people. Unlike Western individual serving, this was family-style, but fortunately everyone could use chopsticks skillfully.
After everyone was seated, Gemini began ordering Coby to serve the dishes.
Coby didn't appear in front of people. Dishes simply floated out from the kitchen, settling steadily on the table. All tableware had warming charms. The inner part of the round table where dishes were placed began rotating at an even speed, ensuring every dish passed in front of everyone.
Before the dishes were fully served, knocking came from outside again. Everyone in the dining room fell silent. Gemini gripped her wand tightly.
Banner rolled up his sleeves, stood up, and smiled at everyone. "I'll check."
He stopped Ben from going over—after all, Ben was an ordinary person. If the people outside had ill intentions, wouldn't Ben just be delivering himself?
Banner opened the door. A tall figure stood outside, pushing a wheelchair with Coulson sitting in it.
"Coulson? How are you here? Are your injuries okay? I only gave you basic treatment," Banner said, frowning at the pale-faced Coulson.
"I brought a guest over. I heard you're having a banquet. Can we come in?" Coulson smiled.
Banner warily glanced at the sneaky tall shadow wearing a hooded black cloak, covering the person completely.
"Is he safe?" Banner asked suspiciously.
The person again stealthily surveyed the surroundings, lowering his voice. "Hey! It's me! Buddy! Can we go in first?!"
Banner found the voice familiar. Thinking of the shop's people and seeing Coulson's pale face, he let them in.
Leading the two to the dining room entrance, Banner gave Steve a look. Steve understood, standing up and moving to Banner's other side, subtly shielding the dining room occupants while watching the two newcomers.
The tall figure entered the dining room and yanked off his cloak. "Hahaha! Surprise?! My comrades! I heard you have a dinner! I came immediately!"
Who else could that tall figure be but Thor?
Gemini's mouth fell open. Peter said traveling Earth's ends in one day was thrilling—this guy traveled between planets in one day. Wasn't that more thrilling?!
Thor looked at the silent dining room, awkwardly lowering his raised hands. "Did I come at a bad time?"
"No, you came at the perfect time, buddy. Did you time this? Our food just arrived. Come try Chinese cuisine—I guarantee it's better than your Asgard food!" Tony smiled, getting up to greet Thor and tapping his chest. "We're just surprised. Who knew you'd go back this afternoon and return tonight?"
Thor relaxed slightly. "I sent Loki back. He was imprisoned. I was originally sad, planning to find Heimdall for drinks. He's our gatekeeper who can see everything in the Nine Realms. He said you were having a banquet and told me to find you for drinks instead of bothering him. So I came. Since I didn't know where you were, I found Coulson to bring me."
Gemini burst out laughing. "Perfect timing. Coulson, don't leave either. Stay—banquets are more lively with more people. This is cuisine Coby learned from China itself. Can't waste it."
Fortunately the table was large enough. Adding two people didn't feel crowded. The food on the table was already emitting tempting aromas, making everyone start swallowing involuntarily.
Gemini stood up holding her glass. "Celebrating that we protected our home, celebrating that my friends didn't leave, celebrating this sumptuous feast! Now, everyone dig in!"
Tony howled like a wolf, wielding his chopsticks frantically. Thor struggled awkwardly a few times, then threw away his chopsticks and used a spoon. Gemini was furious. "Are you starving ghosts?! Leave some for everyone! You savages!"
Laughter filled the entire shop. Drunk Tony even started arguing with Thor—one insisting Earth's alcohol and food were better, the other refuting. Like three-year-olds, they went back and forth.
Peter sneakily added George's new product to Thor's drink—comedy alcohol that made people involuntarily do embarrassing things.
Right after adding it, Peter got smacked on the back of his head by Ben and dragged away by his collar.
Gemini sat in her chair with vacant eyes, counting on her fingers how many gowns she'd have to wear for her coming-of-age ceremony.
Natasha and Barton silently held plates in the corner, eating the after-dinner desserts Coby had carefully prepared. They were probably the most sober people there.
After the chaos ended, Thor directly called the Rainbow Bridge outside the All-Purpose Shop. Looking at the marks on the ground, Gemini angrily declared she'd make Thor pay next time he came.
Natasha and Barton left with Coulson. Tony had completely collapsed under the table and had to stay overnight. Everyone returned to their rooms, leaving three house-elves to clean up. After washing up, Gemini yawned and collapsed on her bed, unconscious.
For several days after this gathering, nobody recovered. Tony was picked up early the next morning—he needed to direct those wizards in post-war reconstruction. Reportedly, they weren't hiding from anyone, determined to show those No-Majs their wizarding power, hoping to get statehood permission at October's congressional meeting.
This shocked America's No-Majs. Networks and newspapers argued endlessly daily—some yearning, others disgusted. Anti-wizard associations even emerged again.
Time leisurely reached late May. Gemini began packing, preparing to return to Britain. This trip would last several months. She entrusted the shop to Tony, having his Bogg clean regularly so the house wouldn't get bugs from months of vacancy.
For this return, Gemini chose to fly back. Tony provided his private jet—after all, Portkeys were really uncomfortable, and only one and a half people in their group counted as wizards: Gemini and Peter. So everyone felt safer taking a plane.
Right after leaving Britain's airport, Gemini's group was picked up by Draco. After barely managing to give notice, Draco arranged for people to take them sightseeing around Britain while Gemini was directly whisked away—coming-of-age ceremonies required proper preparation.
After being tormented half to death, Gemini couldn't help sighing inwardly—good thing coming-of-age ceremonies only happened once.
June 15th, Gemini's birthday. Almost from the evening of the 14th, various Pure-blood families in British wizarding society began moving. Gemini could be said to have the strongest background in all of British wizarding society—godfather was the Boy Who Lived, relatives were the Malfoys, friends were the Weasleys, and she was head of the Black family herself. If someone married such a girl, it would be reaching heaven in one step.
At 4 AM, Gemini was dug out of bed by Astoria and Ginny together—hair styling, dressing, jewelry.
Gemini could only sit dazed like a doll being manipulated.
Next, she had to be led in by Harry, then handed over to Draco for the opening dance, all while maintaining a smile and receiving gifts.
Finally, she had to accept everyone's blessings center stage. Ministry of Magic Minister Kingsley personally removed her Trace—proving that from now on, Gemini was an adult wizard who could openly use magic in front of people.
Last of all was Gemini's first magic after Trace removal. Draco and Harry had searched through books before finally deciding on Protean Charm and Finite Incantatem—having fire phoenixes appear, circle around, then disappear. This looked spectacular and intimidating, preventing some blind people from bothering her.
After perfectly completing the coming-of-age ceremony, Gemini lay in bed for three full days before recovering. Draco and Harry smiled as they called Gemini to the study, each with a stack of documents beside them—together tall enough to match Gemini herself.
"What's this?" Gemini had a bad feeling.
"These are all Black family properties. After Regulus disappeared, my mother took over part of them. This pile is mine," Draco smiled like spring breeze.
"Mine is what Sirius left me after he died—everything about the Black family," Harry smiled identically.
Gemini felt for the door handle behind her. "I suddenly remembered my employees are still left outside. I need to find them!"
Before Gemini could move, Harry waved his wand. The door lock clicked shut behind her.
Draco smiled as he waved his wand. Gemini was lifted up and gently pressed into the chair behind the desk. "You've grown up, Gemini. You must learn to take over these things."
Gemini made a final desperate struggle. "I have N.E.W.T.S next year! I don't have time!"
"No problem. You're so smart, just one week to get the hang of it," Draco glanced at Gemini and directly opened a file in front of her. "You'll have to take over sooner or later."
Harry smiled. "You can find agents, but first you need to understand your properties' general situation. I don't think you want to be deceived, right?"
Gemini slumped in her chair dejectedly. "Fine, fine. Growing up is such a hassle. I'll read, I'll learn, but you have to help me find reliable agents!"
"No problem!" Harry and Draco said in unison.
"Master! The mistress and Mrs. Ginny have both fainted!" With a pop, a house-elf appeared in panic in the study's center, its shrill voice nearly shattering the room's glass.
