Suzune, Shuo, and Sakai, despite the bruises and blood staining their faces and uniforms, immediately rushed to Seijirou's side, their breathing ragged yet their eyes filled with awe.
They could hardly believe what they had just witnessed.
Suzune, her voice trembling with both exhaustion and excitement said, "Seiji, you're so awesome! You actually beat someone who was cheating with some magic power or something!"
Shuo laughed between heavy breaths, "Haha, boss, you're a monster in human skin."
Sakai grinned, half in pain and half in admiration, "He is isn't he? That's why he's the boss!"
"Let me see," Suzune observed him, "You're not too injured are you? Let's get you check in a hospital."
Seijirou shook his head, "No need. It's just a scratch."
But before their relief could take root, the air around them shifted. The smell of iron and smoke thickened, and the sound of coughing broke the silence.
Ryuhei, blood streaming from his mouth, forced himself to stand once more.
