Chapter 20 - Tsunade's Plan

"What we trade is not just money,"

Xin pulled out a paper currency, holding it between two fingers, and smiled. "Currency, it condenses the desire of a world's people for it, and this is a valuable item to us, and this value can only be reflected through transactions."

"I see." Tsunade pondered for a moment, pinching her chin, then raised her eyes. "What does that mean?"

"..." Xin felt a bit of a headache. "In short, our purpose is just to trade Mystery Box."

One lie always requires countless lies to cover it up.

Anyway, it was all just bluffing, there was nothing he could do if she didn't understand.

"Is that so?"

Tsunade didn't know if she believed him, but a confident smile suddenly appeared on her face. "I'll be watching you closely, to see if it's really as you say. If I find out you have any ill intentions, hmph hmph."

"Lady Tsunade..." Shizune's eyes were sparkling.

How many years had it been, how many years since she had seen Tsunade so spirited.

Xin was a little speechless.

Could this be considered him bringing it upon himself?

"Then, let's rest first." Tsunade waved her hand. "We'll set off tomorrow morning."

"Huh?" Xin was taken aback, then realized that 'we' included himself.

"Anyway, you said your purpose is just to trade, right?" Tsunade crossed her arms, her smile unwavering. "Konoha, there are many rich people there, and they will definitely be interested in your Mystery Box. What, you don't want to go? Or..."

This merchant, both his origin and the goods he sold, were too mysterious.

If left unchecked.

Who knows what trouble he might cause. Just what she opened from the Mystery Box could restore her to her peak state, and even give her a few extra trump cards.

Bringing him back to Konoha.

Was the best way.

And Xin felt a strange sensation in his heart.

The Third Hokage wasn't dead yet, and if Tsunade returned to the village now, the plot would be completely messed up.

...Forget it, it doesn't matter.

However, Konoha was indeed a good place, there were many big clients there, and although his ability wasn't strong enough yet, with one-time use items, he didn't have to worry too much about safety, and at worst, he could still escape.

He just wanted to make money now.

With the ability of the system in his mind, as long as he had money, he didn't have to fear anything.
