"Granite Blast!"
As the cigarette in his hand burned out completely, the man atop the skyscraper rose from his relaxed lying posture.
An overwhelming amount of cursed energy gathered within the spiral-shaped swirl of his hairstyle before exploding outward as a massive cursed energy blast aimed directly at Satoru, who had just killed Kurourushi.
The instantaneous output of cursed energy was so absurdly powerful that merely brushing past buildings along the path between them caused entire structures to crack apart.
"Not like those weaklings from before..."
Feeling the powerful aura approaching, Satoru simply raised a hand and casually blocked the incoming blast with his palm.
No matter how overwhelming the cursed energy output was, as long as it could not bypass Infinity, it did not even qualify as a scratch to him.
After exhausting its cursed energy, the attack finally dissipated completely. A deep trench carved through the ground, yet the destruction split apart before reaching Satoru and curved around him entirely.
It could not touch him at all.
"So sweet... Way too sweet! A real monster like this actually exists!"
The man's eyes practically glowed as he leaped down from the skyscraper and walked toward Satoru.
The reincarnated player from four hundred years ago, Ryu Ishigori.
Current points: seventy-seven.
Within the entire Sendai Colony, he ranked second only to Dhruv. However, during his original era, he was praised as possessing the highest cursed energy output of the time. A true "human cannon."
In reality, his strength far surpassed Dhruv's. The only reason his score was lower was because he disdained slaughtering ordinary people the way Dhruv did.
Of course, disliking killing civilians did not mean he particularly cared whether they lived or died.
"Sweet? Well, I'm a sweets lover too, but I honestly have no idea what you're talking about."
Satoru glanced at his palm before casually walking forward as well.
"It's your fault for finding Dhruv and Kurourushi first. Watching that delicious fight made me hungry, understand, Satoru Gojo?!"
Once the two stood within several dozen meters of each other, Ryu suddenly stopped.
Another cursed energy blast erupted from the swirl atop his head, but this time, the blast split into multiple attacks midair and completely covered Satoru from every direction.
Boom!
A deafening explosion rang out as the ground collapsed entirely. Massive clouds of smoke shot into the sky and blocked Ryu's view.
"That special technique of yours better not disappoint me, Satoru Gojo."
Ryu did not launch another attack. He just calmly pulled another cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and quietly waited for Satoru's next move.
"I mean, even if you make explosions this flashy, it still doesn't make your attacks actually work. Can you quiet down a little? Otherwise who's paying for all these destroyed buildings?"
A moment later, Satoru casually walked out from the thick smoke cloud while waving the dust away in front of him. Not even a speck of dirt touched his body.
Behind him, the place where he originally stood had become a crater dozens of meters wide.
"If I fight like that, how am I supposed to feel full?"
Ryu smiled as though everything happened exactly as expected, but he still rejected Satoru's suggestion.
Why had he accepted Kenjaku's proposal and willingly become a curse just to reincarnate hundreds of years later and live a second life?
Naturally, because his first life carried regrets.
Unlike Kashimo, whose obsession revolved purely around fighting strong opponents, Ryu's life back then had been incredibly successful.
He fought powerful enemies with pride and spirit, and he also encountered countless beautiful women.
If someone asked whether his life contained regrets, Ryu honestly could not answer.
Perhaps it did not…
Yet that vague feeling deep inside him still left him deeply dissatisfied because he felt he had never truly become "full."
His first life only reached "eighty percent fullness."
The cigarette between his lips was nearly burned out now.
This particular brand became one of his favorite things after reincarnating into the modern era. It left behind a pleasant lingering sweetness after smoking.
But his life itself had no dessert.
How could he possibly die satisfied like that?
Ryu's figure blurred abruptly, and a fist overflowing with massive cursed energy smashed directly toward Satoru's head in the next instant.
Boom!
The powerful shockwave from the punch alone tore apart the ground beneath them.
But his opponent merely raised his left hand and effortlessly blocked the attack that could have blasted through an entire skyscraper.
"So that's how it is... I really can't touch you at all!"
Looking at the mere centimeter or two separating his fist from Satoru's arm, Ryu revealed a grin that looked almost foolishly excited.
Ever since watching from afar earlier, he had already felt something strange. Even with cursed energy reinforcing the body, Kurourushi's attacks should not have completely failed to touch the opponent at all.
And after witnessing the two cursed energy blasts earlier, Ryu became certain.
This had to be the effect of some cursed technique.
Untouchable?!
"Hand over all your points and come with me. If you cooperate, I might go easy on you."
Satoru lifted his blindfold slightly, revealing his sky-blue eyes.
The man before him was very strong. In terms of offensive power alone, he already possessed destructive force rivaling a special grade sorcerer. Killing someone like that outright would honestly be a waste.
"Let me eat my fill first!" Ryu replied immediately.
His excitement had already reached heights he had never experienced before.
Possessing both enormous cursed energy reserves and absurd instantaneous output, he launched one punch after another toward Satoru in rapid succession.
Yet after repeated attacks failed, he suddenly retreated and widened the distance between them.
Still not enough...
What exactly dissatisfied Ryu about his first life?
Simple.
Because he had never been fully satisfied.
And now, the ultimate strong opponent stood in front of him. Regardless of what kind of attack he unleashed, the expression on Satoru's face barely changed.
This man would definitely satisfy him!
But if only one person felt satisfied during a shared meal, could it still be called a magnificent and worthy feast?
"Satoru Gojo! Will you become the dessert I've been longing for all this time?!"
In order to satisfy his craving for that perfect "dessert," Ryu decided to repay Satoru with sweetness of equal value.
"Domain Expansion: Feast of Shared Frames!"
Right before Satoru's eyes, Ryu brought his hands together into the Kujaku Myo-ou mudra. An enormous surge of cursed energy exploded outward and engulfed the surroundings in an instant.
"Your technique is related to cursed energy itself, isn't it?"
Satoru did not immediately expand Unlimited Void to counter the domain. Instead, after glancing around briefly, he calmly asked the question.
With the support of the Six Eyes, Satoru could usually see through the essence of an enemy's technique during battle, especially someone like Ryu, whose cursed technique was extremely straightforward in structure.
"Cursed Energy Discharge. I simply compress the cursed energy I possess and fire it outward. That's all."
Such a simple technique had turned Ryu into the only sorcerer capable of unleashing the same level of destructive power regardless of whether he used his technique or not.
And he answered Satoru's question openly without hesitation.
By revealing this information, it became recognized as a "cursed technique disclosure." Meaning, the upper limit of Ryu's cursed energy output was further amplified.
Even without the additional boost granted by Domain Expansion, the next blast he fired would already surpass every previous attack.
"Go ahead and expand your domain. A sorcerer of your level should be capable of that much!"
Ryu did not attack right away.
Considering Satoru's cursed energy reserves, destructive output, and overwhelming presence, he refused to believe the man lacked a domain.
So he waited.
Even if his domain became neutralized and lost its guaranteed-hit effect, what did it matter?
A perfect dessert needed decoration too.
