After successfully helping Uchiha Itachi awaken his Mangekyo Sharingan, Naruto, Itachi, and Shisui planned to return to their respective homes.
Before leaving, Itachi also told Naruto that he and Shisui would be leaving Konoha tomorrow to explore the outside world and spread the Red Will throughout the Ninja World.
Naruto didn't say anything, only telling them to come find him before they left.
Itachi, walking home, still seemed somewhat dazed. He hadn't expected Naruto's schemes to be so profound.
Uchiha Itachi was a decisive person who acted without procrastination, so after returning home, he began packing his luggage, preparing to leave the village.
Additionally, he needed to report to the Third Hokage tomorrow. If he left the village without reporting, he might be labeled a rogue Ninja.
After Naruto returned home, he immediately called out Grey Wolf to help him build a robot for leaving the village.
There were plenty of materials at home, more than enough to build a robot. Grey Wolf appeared and immediately started hammering away.
Naruto, as the client, offered many suggestions and opinions from the side.
Grey Wolf could generally handle all of Naruto's requests, but it required sufficient time and materials.
Itachi and Shisui were leaving the village tomorrow, so there definitely wasn't enough time to add so many flashy functions.
"Hey, Naruto, I can do all the functions you mentioned, but… the materials in the room aren't enough, and secondly, time is also a bit short!"
Knowing it couldn't be done, Naruto could only go to sleep disappointed.
The next morning.
When Naruto woke up, he saw a silver box on the table.
The box looked very high-tech, and there was a wolf head logo on its side.
"Oh? Could this box be the robot?"
As he spoke, Naruto directly sprang up from the bed.
Naruto carefully examined the box on the table and quickly found a button, the only one on the box.
When Naruto pressed the button, a series of "clack-clack-clack" sounds rang out. The original briefcase underwent a mechanical transformation and quickly turned into a robot that looked almost identical to Naruto.
The difference between Robot Naruto and Naruto was that the robot's outer eye corners had two glowing cracks.
To understand the robot faster, Naruto called out Grey Wolf again.
On the other side.
Itachi had just finished breakfast when Shisui came knocking.
During breakfast, Itachi had already told Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Mikoto about his plan to leave the village.
Uchiha Fugaku, upon learning that his eldest son wanted to leave the village, initially intended to dissuade him on the grounds of Itachi's insufficient strength.
But when Itachi revealed his Mangekyo, Uchiha Fugaku had nothing more to say.
At this point, Uchiha Fugaku also realized how monstrous his son truly was.
And so, Shisui and Itachi, each carrying a bag of luggage, walked towards the Hokage Office building.
When the Third Hokage learned that the two Uchiha geniuses were leaving the village together, he was also stunned.
He immediately began to wonder what kind of conspiracy the Uchiha had.
In fact, every clan places extreme importance on protecting its geniuses.
After all, only a genius who has grown can be called a strong person.
The emergence of a strong person is extremely important for a clan. The appearance of a strong person indicates that the clan will continue to prosper and will not decline.
For the Uchiha to allow their two most talented clansmen to leave the village, they must have an ulterior motive.
Although there wasn't a major war in the Ninja World currently, that didn't mean there were no dangers outside.
In the Ninja World, there were various rogue Ninja, intelligence personnel from different villages, and Anbu.
Uchiha clansmen also commanded a high price at the bounty stations.
Capturing an Uchiha Ninja with a Three-Tomoe Sharingan could be worth three Asumas.
If Itachi and Shisui were discovered to be Uchiha, they would definitely be targeted by many rogue Ninja or bounty Ninja.
Just as the Third Hokage was deep in thought, Uchiha Makoto knocked on the door and then walked into the Hokage Office, looking somewhat tired.
"Hokage-sama… I've finished cleaning all the toilets in the office building. Do you have any other instructions?"
Makoto's words interrupted the Third Hokage's train of thought.
"Oh, Makoto, your work efficiency is very high!" The Third Hokage smiled kindly and said, "Then go clean all the warehouses in the Hokage Office building!"
Uchiha Makoto: …
Uchiha Makoto was very depressed. Ever since he became a direct Anbu under the Third Hokage, he hadn't done any proper Ninja missions. Instead, he had been doing odd jobs, and all by himself.
This made Uchiha Makoto feel like the Third Hokage was deliberately messing with him.
However, thinking that he had no grievances with the Third Hokage, Makoto was relieved, guessing that the Third Hokage was merely testing his character.
After Uchiha Makoto left, the Third Hokage looked at Itachi and Shisui and asked, "Why are you leaving the village?"
The Third Hokage still decided to listen to what the two young men had to say.
"Hokage-sama, we want to leave the village to travel around and experience the local customs of various places in the Land of Fire."
Itachi's explanation left the Third Hokage speechless; he believed things were definitely not as simple as Itachi made them out to be.
"Since you are leaving the village, I'll just assign you an S-rank mission!"
The Third Hokage's current thought was that no matter what the Uchiha's objective was, two genius Ninja going out certainly couldn't be wasted.
Hearing about a mission, neither Shisui nor Itachi showed any signs of resistance.
Seeing this, the Third Hokage nodded in satisfaction and then said, "While you're out, you can help gather information on the Konoha rogue Ninja Orochimaru!"
"This mission doesn't require combat, only intelligence!"
"Additionally, you are to find Jiraiya and tell him to return to the village immediately!"
"The Orochimaru intelligence mission counts as an A-rank mission, and finding Jiraiya, I'll count that as a B-rank for you!"
With that, the Third Hokage wrote a scroll and handed it to Uchiha Shisui, continuing, "If Jiraiya declines and refuses to return, then you are to give him this scroll!"
Shisui took the scroll and nodded solemnly.
"Don't worry, Third Hokage-sama, we will definitely complete the mission!"
After reporting to the Third Hokage, the two walked towards Naruto's house.
They hadn't forgotten that they still needed to see Naruto before leaving.
Neither Itachi nor Shisui now regarded Naruto as an ordinary child.
