Think of it like the early days of the hunt, around the time of the first Monster Hunter (MH1) and Monster Hunter 2 (MH2) games. Technology, weapons, and the Guild system are still in their developing stages. For now, Hunnt and his companions remain in the Old World, where their journey and the foundations of the Eternal Wanderer begin. In time, their path will lead them toward the New World Island, but that story is still to come.
However, with Hunnt's future knowledge of the Monster Hunter series, expect a few advanced elements to appear earlier than their time. 👊 👊
