The evening sky looked ordinary. The city streets were filled with car horns, people busy staring at their phones while rushing forward. No one suspected that in just a few hours, the world would change forever.

Amid the bustle, a twenty-year-old young man was riding a small electric scooter with a delivery box on his back. His name was Lu Yuan.

> "Why does everyone order food right in the middle of rush hour…" he muttered with a sigh.

His hands skillfully weaved between cars, his face relaxed—almost too relaxed for a courier racing against time. His helmet was slightly crooked, his jacket worn, but his eyes remained calm, as if he carried no burden.

—An orphan since childhood. Living through odd jobs. No family, no big dreams. Just a routine of deliveries, receiving money, paying rent.

Sometimes he envied others. Sometimes, he didn't care at all.

> "Well… other people's lives are troublesome in their own way anyway. Me? Sleep, eat, work. That's enough."

He didn't know that his fate would not stop at such an ordinary life.

That night, a meteor shower fell. Streaks of blue and red light tore across the sky, throwing the entire city into chaos. Everyone watched in awe—some prayed, some screamed in panic.

Lu Yuan stopped at the side of the road, staring at the sky with a lazy look.

> "Beautiful… but why'd it have to fall right when I'm working?"

He didn't know that the energy carried by that meteor shower would seep into the entire world. Into the soil, the water, the air—and even into the bodies of humans.

By tomorrow, animals would change. Plants would mutate. Tiny insects would become predators. And humans… would awaken powers that had never existed before.

And among all those humans, only Lu Yuan would give birth to the impossible.

His fate had only just begun.
