suddenly, he remember he had signed off on a test yesterday, completely forgetting about it.
"the wilderness survival test?"
"is that what it is..? why didn't i think of asking you of course you'd know!"
deciding to let the teacher who had arrived by now explain, he simply sits back, since the details themselves never went through him, rather the safety department
"attention students! the next test will be wilderness survival. both the elite class and you all will be transported to an uninhabited island, however while the most dangerous of the monsters have been dealt with, there will be other monsters, the scores will be decided by how well you survive and keep yourselves organized, so get ready and prepare for tomorrow!"

"well i say before we figure out what to do when we get there we decide who is in charge of what right now. for example, with me being a production class il set up our camp. if its fine with you all?"
while their pride refuses to say yes, what he's saying makes sense, making their mouths unable to open.
"good! so our dear lion siblings, I'm sure you don't like us that much, so how about i give you a job that wont force interaction with us and would be easy for you?"
"like what..?"
"the two of you will be incharge of food gathering, similarly our elven princess will gather us fire wood and the such if that's alright with you?"
taking her lack of response as a yes, he simply continues
"we will than have the vampire princess butcher the animals themselves, since she can just keep the left over blood after butchering."
"and camelia along with any other mage in our class will work on purifying water, since its probably the hardest of the task, those who weren't mentioned will be spread apart with the wood gathering and base building team along with me."
without too much resistance, they all agree with the support of the princess, camelia and murphy, and the slight word here and there by Chris
finally done with all their classes as well, he finally has the time to make the desperately needed artifacts.
each production class has a small smithy room, equipped with most things they need, the quality of the gear itself dependent on rank, and Cain was able to.. nudge his budget foreword juuuust a bit.
looking around, he can see his biggest project on a blueprint

but its not his current focus, his current focuses are instant popup tents made of incredibly durable and comfortable materials, and 15 heated futons.
hours upon hour later, he had finished making 5 tents, each large enough for 5 people

another thing he had built is something he had only been able to acquire just now.
you see even if he glances at an invention he's able to make a better one.. so what about the most useful one of all? and also the most annoying one to make, a storage artifact.

point is he now has an earring that stores and releases whatever he touches with his hand at will
the only issue is that its design is that of those like 5 metal earrings people put on a single ear

this is due to the fact that back in his old world they were made to know the in and outs of their guns. so he already knew everything he needed just to make all the parts.
after finishing up in his work shop, he goes back to a private training room, as he begins the most important thing, see what his first summoned creature is.
you see for summoning mages, for every core they form lets them summon another creature, however at the moment he only has time to summon the first one.
the only issue is he couldn't find any info other than that on summoning mage's.. so he doesn't even know how to go about summoning a creature..

{a summoning mage summons their creature by offering a sacrifice, it could be your blood, eye sight or a certain item, point is you spend this item for as long as your creature is summoned, and the bigger the sacrifice, the stronger the creature}
'that's.. unique.'
sadly, he doesn't have anything he could offer that's on him, so he has to sacrifice something bigger. and he has a plan for something far far bigger, in a sense... its just a gamble
"i summon they in all ye glory to stand before me and serve me. for i shall offer you my inability to never be capable of using summoning magic to ever summon another creature other than thou"
suddenly.. the air rippled, as if space itself was being broken apart.. and soon, a hauntingly beutiful woman, with long black hair flowing to the point its already well reached the ground.. her eyes covered by a blindfold of black thorns and wearing a beautiful white dress.. her skin as pale as his, perhaps even more.
"are you.. the one who had summoned me..?"
her enchanting voice beckones him to answer, ringing in his head as even ariel warns him of her immense power
calming himself down, he finally gathers the power to answer
"y-yes.. I'm the one.. who had summoned.. you."
"that's strange.. i haven't been summoned in eons.. the only one who should even be able to summon me is.. ah.. are you his reincarnation..?"
"who..?"
"so you don't remember that well huh.. but it makes it all the more fun! haha i had never thought id see the day i would be more powerful than you.."
grabbing his chin to get a better look at his face, a sudden thought passes her, causing her to blush. her breath even a little heated.
"we still need to make a contract right..? since you only summoned me so far.."
to confused to understand what's happening, the woman somehow taller than him pulls him into a kiss.. this one unlike his with Delilah, far more heated and hungrily, like a woman starved for years
"ah! its done.. I'm with you again.. my love.."

short circuiting.. he simply stares into space.. unable to think of much else.

so todays note is e acknowledging my own mistake and teaching you through it.
i had made two large mistakes during writing so far, one was the Delilah relationship, while it was definitely alright to interduce it early on i had done so far too fast,
the second was about the gift of a promise, it could've and should've definitely made it be gotten differently, instead of it happening off screen, i should've made it so the mc had found the clue first, then went there after a series of hardships and only THEN gotten the ability.
both of these mistakes are due to the fact that when you first think of an idea, you want to implement it as fast as possible, but timing is important, even if the idea itself is good, and now i have to live with these mistakes, so when you think of this sick idea. think of what the best way to implement it is first.
also i was babysitting a cousin yesterday so the chapter was finished late, but another chapter will be released later today still!
