Lord Danev's remaining troops began to retreat, and other lords who had been hesitating also fled after ordering a retreat upon seeing that Lord Danev was fleeing the battlefield.
Only two lords remained loyal.
"Attack! Don't retreat!" a burly man wearing a black lion's head on his helmet ordered the attack.
The man, dressed in dark clothing and gray armor, held a mace; his pale skin bore some scars, and his nearly black eyes glared fiercely at the enemies. He was Lord Eron Granvirt.
The other lord who ordered his men to hold out until the very end was a dark-skinned man with long black hair and deep-set eyes; he wore a red-and-black robe and carried a high-ranking staff. He was Lord Sofoc Disav.
Lord Granvirt's forces entered the battle with weapons in hand; most of his troops were warriors.
