No one had ever seen Ascension Technology's military factories. Even when Military Technology paid a huge price to steal intelligence from Arasaka bases, they still found nothing.
Even Ascension Technology's base in Night City had disappeared, leaving behind only a building under construction.
Where Ascension Technology's weapons and army were hidden remained a mystery, and no one knew what terrifying things they would pull out once they reached the battlefield.
Since Ascension Technology was founded in Night City, due to its adversarial relationship with Arasaka and its status as an Arasaka partner company, Ascension Technology had been frequently targeted by Military Technology.
And all this time, Military Technology had failed to inflict any effective damage on Ascension Technology, even hitting walls everywhere when dealing with them.
In the past, Military Technology thought it was due to interference from other forces and that it was just a coincidence, similar to the commotion Warwick caused at the time.
But now, when Ascension Technology truly revealed its strength, Military Technology connected everything that had happened and realized that the mastermind behind all the events was very likely this deeply hidden Ascension Technology.
One must know that Warwick back then had almost wiped out all of Military Technology's bases in the entire Night City.
This was also why, when they went to full-scale war with Ascension Technology, Military Technology had no way to organize offensive forces within the city and could only dispatch troops from within the New United States of America.
The many grievances between them and Ascension Technology also caused Military Technology and other companies around the world that had not encountered Ascension Technology to have different views on this matter.

The Military Technology representative gave a self-deprecating smile, seemingly too lazy to argue with them anymore.
Many council members, seeing this, seemed to want to step on Military Technology even more.
But just then, everyone in the meeting received a message in their personal email.

The message was short, but it startled everyone.
They knew that to avoid Ascension Technology's surveillance, none of them had connected to the Ascension Network but had been connected to the council space station's local network.
Now that this mysterious message had arrived, everyone in the meeting felt a vague sense that something terrible was about to happen.
In the conference room, the Chairman of the European Council at the head seat quickly controlled the console in the room and opened the windows.
This circular conference room was in the best location on the European Council's satellite, with four sides of openable electric blinds.
By opening the windows, they could see the surrounding space scenery through the space station's transparent walls.
But as the windows slowly activated, revealing the scene in space, the people in the meeting saw something they would never forget.
In the distance in space, a massive fleet of spacecraft was slowly approaching them.
Numerous smaller vessels clustered around the gigantic main spacecraft in the center.
And on the hull of the main vessel, the conspicuous words "Ascension Technology" were emblazoned.
Seeing this scene, everyone doubted if they were in a braindance.
After all, how could such a scene appear in reality?
At a time when many companies still relied on rockets for space travel, seeing a space fleet like this, which could only appear in science fiction works, was undoubtedly more terrifying than seeing a ghost.
At this point, the Military Technology representative was completely stunned. He could stake his personality that he was absolutely not a spy sent by Ascension Technology, and what he had just said was merely a casual remark.

In the distance, the many escort vessels in the fleet began to move.
Flashes of light shot out from the escort vessels, and streaks of bright red lasers rapidly penetrated numerous satellites in Earth orbit.
Ascension Technology was telling this group of council members that its fleet was not just a flying metal box.
