Sira threw her head back and let out a laugh at the reaction.
Sigh!
I reached over, grabbed Sira by the collar of her uniform jacket, and hauled her to the side, physically separating her from the terrified girl.
"Stop scaring her," I said, deadpan.
Sira scoffed loudly, swatting my hand away and aggressively adjusting her collar.
"You always have to ruin the fun, Jin, pretending to be her personal bodyguard."
Suddenly, Sira paused. Her eyes darted between me and Emma, and the wicked grin slowly returned to her face, this time morphing into a massive, highly calculated smirk.
She leaned toward me, her voice dripping with absolute tease.
"Oh... don't tell me," Sira drawled out, wagging a finger right in my face.
"Are you fancying our little Emma?"
Emma let out a tiny, strangled squeak. I didn't even have to look at her to see that her cheeks had instantly flared into a violent, bright shade of pink.
