We reached the guild hall and saw Kira and her team were coming up the street from the opposite direction, their packs looking lighter than before.
Kira spotted us first and waved enthusiastically.
"Jin! Tessa! Good morning!"
Jack grinned, jogging ahead of his party to catch up. "Heading to the guild too? We just finished an herb gathering mission. Super easy. Got paid twenty copper for like two hours of work."
"That's great," Tessa said, matching his enthusiasm.
We all entered the guild together, the morning rush already in full swing.
And there, sitting at a table near the reception desk, was Teryn's party.
All four of them were present this time, Teryn himself looking considerably better than yesterday, color back in his face, moving without assistance. The scarred leader sat beside him, along with their other two companions.
The leader spotted us immediately.
