Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 Have you heard of the self-destruct flow?

"By the way, Ayanokouji-san, my name is Kuroki Ya."

Only at this moment did he remember to say his name.

He took the cards from the man with the "Stupid Dog" sign on his chest, and as if to emphasize his point, he said to Ayanokouji, "Look, this is a brand new deck, opened right before your eyes."

After Ayanokouji Kiyohei nodded, Kuroki tore off the outer protective film, took the poker out of the box, and handed it to Ayanokouji Kiyohei, as if he wanted him to check it.

Ayanokouji Kiyohei checked and found that all 54 cards were present and the patterns on the back were no different, so there should be no problem with the cards.

After Ayanokouji Kiyohira finished checking, Kuroki took out the jokers from the 54 cards and handed the remaining cards to the man with the livestock card on his chest. He said in a commanding tone, "Hey, Kumagai, help me shuffle the cards!"

A male classmate named Kumagai stood between the two people's gambling table, shuffling the cards silently like a dealer.

"Before we start, let's talk about the chips. Ten thousand yen per round, is that okay?" Kuroki seemed to be afraid that Ayanokouji Kiyohira would give up the game because the base number was too large, so he said this number that was neither too big nor too small.

Ten thousand yen... Ayanokouji Kiyohei thought about it and realized that this amount of money was nothing in this school.

"Okay, no problem."

Ayanokouji Kiyohei is not short of money. His wallet is bulging with the two million yen his father gave him today.

Seeing them start gambling, people around immediately gathered around with interest.

Originally, someone wanted to stand behind Ayanokouji Kiyohira, but after he reminded that he didn't like people standing behind him, no one stood behind him. Instead, several classmates stood behind Kuroki.

They hugged their chests and talked and laughed without restraint.

Ayanokouji could tell from Kuroki's stiff eyes that he didn't want others standing behind him and pointing fingers at him, but for some reason, he didn't say anything to drive them away.

After shuffling the cards, Kumagai began to deal. He gave two cards each to Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and Kuroki Ya, one visible card and one hidden card.

A hidden card is a card that is face down.

The cards had been dealt to Ayanokouji. He secretly glanced at his own cards. The visible card was 9 and the hidden card was 10. He covered them up after looking at them without showing any expression on his face.

This disappointed Kuroki, who thought he could tell something from Ayanokouji Kiyohira's expression. He cheered himself up and said with a smile, "I don't want any more cards. Do you want any?"

Points in blackjack are calculated as follows: 2 through 9 cards are counted according to their original points; King, Queen, Jack, and Ten all count as 10, often written as T, meaning ten. An Ace can count as either 1 or 11, depending on the player's preference.

Kuroki's open card is a J, and Ayanokouji's cards add up to 19, which is already big enough, but if his hidden card is an A or a T, Ayanokouji will lose the game.

"Follow." Ayanokouji said concisely.

Kumagai showed no expression and dealt another hidden card to Ayanokouji, which was an 8, and Ayanokouji immediately busted.

"I lost." Ayanokouji spread out his cards and said calmly.

Kuroki laughed out loud, "Ayanokouji-san, you still want more cards even though your cards are so big. I'm really surprised by your courage."

He put down his cards. The hidden card in his hand was only a 5, and even if added up, it was only 15, which was far less than Ayanokouji's.

If he hadn't added the card, Ayanokouji would have won the game, but now the winner has changed.

Ayanokouji thought to himself what a pity, but he wasn't too sad. He smiled and took out ten thousand yuan from his wallet and handed it to the other party.

"When playing cards, just have fun. If you lose, you lose. It's not a big amount anyway."

This sentence was not meant to mock Kuroki, but rather represented Ayanokouji's true feelings. Ten thousand yen was indeed not a lot of money for him right now.

"Ayanokōji-san, you..." Kuroki wanted to laugh at Ayanokōji, but when the words were on the tip of his tongue, he saw the thick stack of ten thousand yuan bills in Ayanokōji Kiyohira's wallet. His breathing became heavier and the words got stuck in his throat.

This stack of money should be about one or two hundred, and all of them are worth ten thousand yuan...

Ayanokouji Kiyohei was also helpless. He didn't actually want to show off his wealth, but mobile payment was not popular in Japan now, and many places only supported cash and credit card payments.

As for the money in the wallet, it's just for precautionary purposes.

"You have a lot of money in your wallet. Is your family rich?" Hei Mu took the ten thousand yuan bill and asked casually.

"It's okay. We have some family assets, so it's harmless if we just play a few rounds." Ayanokouji reminded with a smile, "Let's continue, shall we?"

It turns out that his family is rich... Hearing Ayanokouji Kiyohira say this, the onlookers around him all uttered a sound of deafening laughter.

Several people lost interest in him and walked towards the other freshmen.

Freshmen like him were also found by senior students nearby. Somehow they were made to accept the bet, and they started gambling simultaneously just like here, while other students gathered around and watched.

Like Ayanokouji, several other freshmen were pulled to the card table, either actively or passively, to play dice or poker games.

One thing that was similar was that they all had a person with a sign hanging on their chest, and the old students scolded each other rudely, as if they were servants.

Ayanokouji was about to take the card when he saw these people leaving. He asked in confusion, "Why are they all leaving?"

"Don't mind them. They just want to see the regretful look on your face after you lose. When they realize there's nothing fun to watch here, they'll naturally leave."

Kuroki shrugged and chuckled at Ayanokouji Kiyohira. "Ayanokouji-san, if I'm not mistaken, you were actually forced in by cheating on the exam, not by taking the test, right?"

"…Exactly."

It seemed like all the students in this school knew the ins and outs of the entrance exam. Seeing his confident look, Ayanokouji didn't hide it any further and simply nodded in acknowledgement.

"That's what I was saying. How could a commoner carry so much money?"

Kuroki nodded in satisfaction, stroking his chin and smiling, "You probably already know the truth about this school. Everything that happened just now was just an act, right?"

"No, I really don't know..." Ayanokouji smiled bitterly.

If he had known that gambling was rampant here, he might as well have chosen a more ordinary school.

But...it turns out these people just want to laugh at themselves?

Well, let them see enough.

Ayanokouji sneered in his heart and started the next round of gambling.

After playing a few more rounds, everyone was surprised to find that Ayanokouji would definitely take the card unless he had a huge advantage.

But his luck was not very good, and he basically lost every time. This risky way of playing made him lose several games in a row.

But he seemed not to have learned his lesson and continued to be like this, asking for cards without blinking.

Seeing that Ayanokouji Kiyohira didn't care about winning or losing, Kuroki raised an eyebrow and asked, "Ayanokouji-san, don't you care about winning or losing this bet?"

"After all, ten thousand yen isn't a lot of money, so it doesn't matter if I lose." Ayanokouji Kiyohira shrugged and asked for another card while speaking.

It's a K.

He already had 15 points in his hand, and with this card, he was completely bankrupt.

"I lost."

Even though he had lost, Ayanokouji smiled brightly and took out another banknote from his wallet and handed it to Kuroki.

What's wrong with this guy? This is so boring...

Ayanokouji's self-destructive style of play has no show effect at all. He is just relying on the fact that he has a lot of money to play around here, and he always looks calm and composed.

It was like watching a scene that was replayed over and over again, which made the students around who wanted to watch the show feel bored. They all moved away from their gambling table and went to watch other people's gambling games.

Finally they left... Ayanokouji Kiyohira secretly exclaimed in his heart, "The plan worked."

After learning from Kuroki that these classmates actually wanted to make fun of him, he lost his good impression of these people and deliberately used this self-destruction method to send them away in one wave.

Now the surroundings are finally quiet.
