Chapter 105 - HISD Chapter 105 Future Plans for the Marvel Dream

HISD Chapter 105 Future Plans for the Marvel Dream

Inside the mirror dimension, parallel to Marvel's New York.

This unique pocket of reality held only two figures—Yi Meng and the Ancient One.

This place did not belong to the Marvel timeline outside. Not even the Time Variance Authority could observe what transpired here unless they specifically chose to.

Vision Yi Meng lifted his gaze toward the bald woman in yellow monk's robes who stood before the window with her hands clasped behind her back. Though his Mind Stone caught faint traces of darkness within her aura, there was no malice.

Curious, Yi Meng asked, "Ancient One. Even knowing your fate might have been arranged by others, you don't care?"

The Ancient One smiled faintly, her voice calm. "I have lived for centuries. As a human, I should have died long ago.

This world needs me to take a certain form, so I become that form.

My abilities are limited. Protecting Earth for a time is enough."

Her words carried the weight of ages yet no trace of personal desire—like plain water, simple and pure. They were the rules Earth needed.

Yi Meng looked at her and thought of one word—

A sage.

He realized then: the Ancient One's detachment was not cowardice. She saw through everything. It wasn't that she dared not confront the TVA, but that she saw no need.

What did it matter what lay beyond space, or outside the universe?

Her goal was only to guard Earth's peace, to fend off dimensional invaders, and to let Earth enjoy centuries of stability. That was enough for the life of a Sorcerer Supreme.

Freedom, law, past, future…

None of it concerned her.

In her final three years, as long as Earth remained peaceful, she would simply hand matters to her successor.

That was the true Sorcerer Supreme.

Yi Meng silently sighed. Compared to her, Doctor Strange—even with his brilliance—was still far behind.

After a pause, he asked his last question. "So, Sorcerer, you came only to warn me not to act recklessly during your last three years of life?"

The Ancient One glanced at him. "The Mind Stone is embedded in you. If anything happens to you, the stone may be lost, and the universe will fall out of balance."

"…Fine."

Yi Meng spread his hands. "Three years from now, no matter what I decide, I'll ensure the Infinity Stones remain in balance within this world."

The Ancient One nodded lightly. Her clear eyes lingered on the gem in his forehead. "There is a problem between you and the Mind Stone."

Yi Meng's heart tightened. "What problem?"

"Do you believe you are its master, guiding it? Or are you merely its temporary vessel?"

"…"

Yi Meng fell silent.

He knew the answer.

Even now, as Vision, he could only use fragments of its power without side effects—like sensing or guiding emotions.

But the Mind Stone's true potential was far greater.

And once removed from his vibranium body, it would still remain the Mind Stone.

If he lost it, he would lose every ability it gave him—and perhaps his very life.

The Ancient One was right.

As Vision, he was merely a vessel, not its true master.

Maybe that was why he could only project fragments of its power into his DC dream of Doomsday.

"Can you teach me?" Yi Meng asked humbly.

The Ancient One answered plainly. "If you wish, I can train you here in the mirror dimension. I can show you how to wield the Infinity Stones' power. But know this—no one, not even me, has ever achieved complete mastery."

"Then it's settled!" Yi Meng agreed readily.

…

The mirrored walls fractured like glass.

When Yi Meng looked again, the Ancient One was gone.

He returned to his room, where young Wanda still slept on the bed, her hands clasped together, her lashes trembling as if caught in a dream.

Yi Meng sat down quietly at her side. Suddenly, Wanda awoke. She sat up halfway, her bright eyes showing first confusion, then grief.

Yi Meng spoke gently. "This is Avengers Tower. It's my room, but you can rest here as long as you need—"

Before he could finish, she threw herself into his arms, sobbing. "Pietro… my brother is dead…"

"I know."

Yi Meng felt the fragile warmth of her body and gently patted her back to comfort her.

His dual-colored eyes shimmered with thought.

A moment ago, he had agreed to the three-year promise not because of the Ancient One's words, but because of his own reasoning.

The TVA and the Ancient One had reminded him of something.

The Mind Stone was bound to the Marvel Universe from the very birth of creation.

If it were removed from this world—or dragged through the Quantum Realm—it could lose its power.

If that happened, not only would his Vision body collapse, but even his DC Doomsday self could suffer, its balance disrupted.

That meant Yi Meng had to remain in this Marvel past for a long time. Even if he wanted to fight the TVA in their dimension, he can't.

"From now on, I'll continue playing the role of Vision here. I'll try to bring in techniques and abilities from the DC dream while learning from the Ancient One how to control the Mind Stone."

Yi Meng laid out his path for the Marvel dream, then looked down at the heartbroken girl in his arms.

"If I get the chance, I'll go to the TVA myself… and demand justice for your brother."

…

Reality.

Three days had passed since Homelander had entered the eastern Fog Zone.

This grand miracle, witnessed by the entire Star Dragon Empire, had ended in Homelander's failure.

Since then, Homelander had not appeared publicly.

His spokesperson claimed he needed rest and could not accept interviews.

But only the Empire's highest authorities knew the truth—

Homelander had nearly died.

One of the nation's two guardian deities, praised as the strongest man alive, had almost perished in the fog-devoured east.

No one knew what he faced within. Even after being rescued and revived, Homelander refused to speak of it. He would not recall or describe what happened.

But his condition told the story—his body covered in grievous wounds, his ruined suit and cape, every recording device destroyed.

Homelander had encountered something even he could not withstand.

For three days, he shut himself away.

Meanwhile, the leaders of both the eastern and western districts held dozens of meetings about the SSS-level Fog Event.

At last, they reached a unified decision—

a decision that would change everything.
