After I walked quite far from her, I finally reached the store's toilet. I rushed inside, scared someone might notice my current situation.
Inside, I started pulling down my p*nts and doing the usual thing a guy does when he's hard.
Each stroke made moans slip out of my mouth.
"Ah... a... yeah..." While doing this, what popped in my head was absurd—I imagined me and Veyra doing something sensual, which turned me on even more. I came fast, making the toilet a mess with my release.
"Huff... ha... finally... I feel calmer," I muttered, even though my body was still shaking from the climax earlier. But weirdly, why was I thinking about her while doing this?
"Damn... my brain's gone so wild," I said with annoyance, blushing at the same time, realizing how much my attitude had changed toward someone I just met.
After cleaning the toilet and my clothes, making sure there were no traces anyone could see, I walked out and headed to the cashier to meet my beloved little bro, Piyo.
I walked through the aisles, and there was no sign of that alpha girl, so I thought she had left. But then...
When I got closer to the cashier, I saw a tall figure with her long hair tied up, playing with my brother. My heart skipped a beat—she hadn't left yet. That made me hesitant and embarrassed to go there.
But finally, with shaky steps but forced determination, I walked closer. She turned back instantly.
"Done already?" she teased with that playful tone.
"What are you doing, Finn? It's already lunch time," asked my friend who worked at the cashier.
"Ah... uh... I..." I stuttered nervously.
"Oh, I wanted to buy some snacks, but the rack was empty, so she helped me find it in the storage room," Veyra explained smoothly, convincing my friend, but her eyes locked on me, as if telling me that secret was just between the two of us.
"Umm... yeah... that's what I was doing, but it was out of stock," I blurted out stupidly.
"We'll check and order later. For now, I'm starving," she said, and all this time Piyo had been wanting to be carried, but I didn't notice, so I picked him up.
"Alright, let's eat... And you... why did you take so long..." I asked her but couldn't bring myself to look into her eyes.
"I got distracted by this little cutie," she said, which shocked me.
"Huh...? Cutie... wha..." I stuttered, confused and embarrassed.
"Wha—what do you mea—" Before I could finish, the bitter embarrassing truth smacked me in the face.
She was playing with Piyo's cheeks lovingly, clearly showing that the "cutie" she meant was him, not me. That realization made me even more embarrassed, thinking I was so full of myself.
"Yeah, yeah, I know Piyo's cute. But enough touching him!" I snapped, not even sure if my tone was annoyance or jealousy.
She just smiled. "Alright... I gotta go now, still got lots to do," she said like she was giving up.
"Okay then, bye," I replied flatly, though my tone carried feelings even I didn't understand.
"Hope we meet again," she teased, ruffling my hair playfully.
"Hey!!" I yelled in annoyance, fixing my hair.
"Bye~" she said, turning around and leaving the store. I stared at her figure slowly fading out of my sight.
"UGH... I'M STARVING... Finn, you can deal with your little love story later. I'm dying here waiting for you to eat," my friend said dramatically, pretending like he hadn't eaten in two days.
"Oh right... let's go. Piyo must be hungry too... Sorry for being late," I said, carrying Piyo to the break room.
"It's okay, brother... that sister was nice... she gave Piyo snacks," he said, pulling snacks out of his pocket.
"Oh really! Save it for later, okay? Let's eat rice first so you'll be strong and not weak."
"Ok dokey~" he replied cutely.

That evening...
"Come on, Piyo, let's go home," I said while tidying up.
"Let's stay here, bro... I'm scared... of dad..." he muttered as tears welled up in his eyes.
"There's nothing to be scared of, Piyo. You've got me," I reassured him.
"But dad will hit you... I'm scared..." he cried.
"Hey! Dad won't do anything to me, okay? Don't think like that. He's still your dad... Everything will be fine, I promise."
"Okay..." After calming him down, I carried him home. On the way, the street lights had already turned on, the sun had set, and darkness surrounded us.
Piyo was fast asleep in my arms. Silence filled the walk home, along with the fear I buried deep inside whenever I had to face my dad.
Click!
The door wasn't locked, which meant dad was already home. I walked in and locked it again. I turned on the lights, and there he was—my dad, passed out on the sofa, holding a beer bottle, totally wasted.
I tiptoed toward my room, hoping he wouldn't notice I was home.
Just a few more steps...
"You damn... bastard kid..." he mumbled, making me freeze. Turns out he was mumbling in his sleep.
I quickly rushed into my room with Piyo, locking it tight so he couldn't do anything bad to us.
Piyo looked so calm and peaceful while sleeping, his innocent face stabbing me with guilt—because he had to live with a family like this.
He never got to see his mom, and he was scared of his own dad. Honestly, I was scared too. How could I not be? He blamed us for existing, for being born into this world, and even blamed us for mom divorcing him.
"It's not our fault... It's yours... you're the ones who chose to be parents... not us... we didn't even ask to be born if it was gonna be like this..." I said silently in my heart.
It was time to sleep. I'd leave tomorrow's problems to my tomorrow self. For now, I just wanted some rest.

The next morning...
"Ugh... my head feels heavy," I groaned, waking up to see it was time to rush for work.
"Piyo...? Piyo, where are you?" He wasn't beside me. Panicked, I searched for him.
Then I noticed the laundry basket moving. I rushed over, and behind it was a tiny, adorable creature trying to dress himself.
"Ugh... so hard..." he muttered, not realizing I was behind him. His cuteness made it impossible not to smile.
I poked his neck, and he turned around, grinning.
"Bro, look! Piyo can dress himself now, right?" he said in his sweet voice, though his clothes were messy and crooked.
"Yes, my little bro is super smart. You can dress yourself already," I said, helping him fix his clothes.
"I wanna make sure bro doesn't get tired from always helping Piyo..."
"Actually, being with you and taking care of you makes me happy," I said, kissing his cheek.
"Hehe... Piyo loves bro," he said, hugging my neck.
"Love you too," I answered, my heart full of gratitude and warmth that morning.
After getting ready as usual, I didn't see dad at home—maybe he left early at dawn. That made the morning feel safer.
Breakfast, putting Piyo in warm clothes, and walking to the store... that's what every day looked like for us.
