And as I shouted his name , whole throne room got quite. well not actually his name because mostly nobody knows his original name. Every one was looking at me , thank god I was in my traditional cloths , so they can't exactly see my face as my red cloak with hood was covering most of my face.
Soon I went inside the throne room. And I actually looked at the alpha king closely. He was wearing only his pants and his upper body was bare. His chest was fully covered with different tattoos.
Then I saw his face, and I was like pushed into a trance, he was amazing , extremely handsome, perfectly carved face with perfectly chiseled body. His body only has full grown muscles , no fat at all. He has dark black hair with perfect shade of blue eyes, most brightest blue I have ever seen and strong jaw line as well. But then the reality hit me with full force and what ever I was feeling about his beauty was replaced by disgust and hatred.

"Alpha king" I said again clearly knowing that now I have his full attention, we both are 10 feet away, I can see from his crowded forehead that he was struggling to see my face because of my hood and cloak, so he started analyzing my body. Well I am not very tall, I am just 5.5' and I am slim and plain and normal, I have silver eyes and blonde hair, nothing that makes me very beautiful but that doesn't mean I can't kick his ass.
"How dare you to attack my kingdom? that too when I was not present here. I have heard alpha king is brave, but this action of yours clearly proves that they were only rumours."
He was still looking at me intensely. I was expecting him to speak something but someone else from the crowd of his warriors said
"shut up girl, that's alpha king you are talking to, apologize NOW" and I turned to look at the source. There was a man little less in size from alpha king, I can tell he is of higher power and authority but not as big as king but still big.
"well, and who are you to order me like that? Well let me guess, you must be second in command, or what you say in werewolf term, yeah; Beta., right?" but he didn't answer but still looking at me with a glare, well I guess he doesn't get disrespected much often like this.
"well beta, I think you are in no position to order me around, didn't your alpha teach you that when two alphas are speaking, beta doesn't speak in between" and his face turned in amusement
" you and alpha? Huhh .. little girl go and hide in your home or else I will put you in the cells and torture you till you beg me to stop" and he chuckled. And my blood is boiling. I want his blood on my hands now. I just called my powers of fire and blast them just near his feet in a motion of huge snake and when the snake was about to engulf him, I took them back in my hands. He was looking very scared, he knew that could have killed him in a second but he covered his fear properly with anger.
"beta, stay in your limits, or else you would have been dead by now, and let me introduce myself, I am Iris Shawn, Queen of all the witches and queen of this kingdom" and realization flashed in his eyes and he took a step back. Good. I turned to king again only to see he was still looking at me intensely, like want to solve a puzzle on my face or something, that's creepy actually.
"so now would you tell me why you attacked my kingdom without any notice of war and that too when the leader was not present, this is breaching of rules, alpha"
He was still silent, still analyzing, god just say something. after like 5 minutes passed and he came out of the trance and said
"I don't think I am answerable to you, you witches shouldn't talk about Rules, it doesn't suit you and you were not in the kingdom it's your fault not mine. And frankly , even if you have been present here, you would have been dead by now." what is he talking about? Witches never break rules and a thing that was stopping me from attacking him was his voice, his voice was so husky. It was just amazing to hear him, but then it registered what he said. He said I would have been dead, He thinks he can kill me, fine bring it on.
"Witches were made to protect rules , we don't break them, never mind ,so You think you can kill me? fine now is the time, fight with me and we will see who will kill whom? "I expected him to come down from the throne and fight but soon I heard laughing sound. All the warriors were laughing including alpha who was smirking.
"seriously, you want to fight me? No thank you , I don't kill children" how dare he? He thinks I am a minor, I felt so offended that I said without even thinking
"I am an adult, I turned eighteen today only" god what was I thinking ,
"ohh so all this arrangement was for your birthday party? I am so sorry queen, I ruined your birthday, if I have known, I would have got you a gift but still happy birthday my queen" and I don't know why but when he called me his queen, it felt right, but sadly I know he was only mocking me. But reality is, he is the first one who wished me today. But before I can appreciate that, I realize he is the reason, nobody is here to wish me. I was hurting for my family. But I soon covered my face with anger
"fight me or leave my land" I said sternly.
"no queen, I told you I won't, but if you so desperately want to get defeated, my warriors will be happy to beat you"
" fine, who?" I asked but he only smirked and said one word and all the color drained from my face
"all of them" and he smirked. He is expecting me to drop the challenge.
"you can get your all soldiers to fight besides you, if you have any" and that makes me realize he is evil. He is mocking my dead soldiers. He is a devil in a handsome disguise. He has no goodness left in him.
"I don't need anyone, I myself is more than enough for your whole army." and that made his smirk dropped from his face and he glared at me. Good, I took a deep breath and brace myself, soon my body morph in a warrior's outfit, my hood turned black and my face god covered. And in my hands my two silver swords appeared. I can use my fire but first I need to saw them that I can fight like a warrior.

King was looking intensely at my changed cloths. And then he said
"make her submit, my warriors" and soon all of them surrounded me with their swords and other weapons. I know they can shift into their wolfs but they will do that when it will be absolutely necessary.
And then they attacked, I took my both the hands upwards and started rotating my both the swords. Silver is poisonous for them, so my swords were giving me that benefit. They were around 500 or may be more. I was fighting them with speed and grace. They were strong but not fast enough. I was also getting injured in the fight. But not as bad as them.
After thirty minutes, I was bleeding from my both the forearms and my back also. We witches are not like werewolves, they can heal faster, while our bodies are like humans in that matter. We have powers but our bodies are fragile, like humans.
My body was getting tired. I was losing blood. So I decided to switch to my powers, I soon wrapped my both the hands around my swords and soon fire ignited. Now I have fire in the shape of sword. I heard gasps, well they have underestimated me.
Now again I was fighting with speed. I wasn't making any death blows, because wars are for making them submit, not to kill them, I don't know why but I was always against the idea of killing someone. I was just making enough damage so they can't fight back again.
I was fighting with five at once who are all in front of me, and I was totally caught up at the moment when I heard a shriek,
"Iris watch your back" and I swiftly turned around and killed the one who was trying to kill me from behind. He called for it himself. Attacking from back is not allowed. But then like a lightning speed I realized who warned me. Oh shit. Eva...
And I turned to look at her, shit, I told her, not to make any sound, now my magic wears off, and she is visible to everyone and I said the one thing that come to my mind
" Run Eva , run.." I shouted with so much force that made everyone stop and she started running but before she could reach to the door a blur of wind past by me and someone stopped her by lifting her in the air with a hand on her neck and other one on her waist, And then he turned around with my baby sister in his hands. And my world stopped, alpha king
"stop warriors, well well well, isn't it just amazing, so you had your backup here as well, that too as an invisible one, so you are not as innocent as you look. Well what can we expect from witch queen anyways" he said with disgust, it would have made me felt bad but right now my full concentration was on Eva. She was looking scared.
"let her go, she is not my back up, she has nothing to do with this, just let her go please" I was literally begging, a queen shouldn't beg but right now my only family is in danger.
" now why would I do that? Now I have something that can make you bend over my will, first go back to your Queen attire from this warrior one, I want to talk to a queen ,not a warrior and that too without weapons," I immediately summon my powers and changed back to traditional cloths. And my swords also disappeared , so as the fire.
"good, so you can follow orders, now remove your hood, I want to see your face" I again looked at Eva, she was crying now. I am so going to kill this king. And then I removed my hood little bit so he can see my face clearly.
Iris 's face

I heard several gasps. God, have they never seen a girl before. I tried to reassure Eva with my eyes that everything will be fine.
"actually it's a crime to hide such a beautiful face, well now correct me if I am wrong, this is your little sister right? Anyone can tell that from looking at your similarities, well now you will do as I say or she dies. first accept your defeat and then accept me as your new king.
"okay" I said terrified by the thought of her getting hurt
"No Iris, you can't, let him hurt me, it is my fault all of this is happening, you are our kingdom's last hope, don't accept defeat, remember what mother used to say 'A Queen never bow down to anyone except for his king' and he is not your king, please let me die, don't do this" Eva was crying and sobbing now and it was hurting me like hell
"no Eva, stop crying, it's not your fault, and I remember what mother said, but have you forgotten what father said 'Family comes first, if you can't protect your own family, you can't protect your people, and you have no right to rule' if I can't protect you, I have no right to rule, perhaps I am not suitable to rule the kingdom anymore, kingdom is ruined and I failed to protect it, I failed as a Queen and now I failed as an elder sister" I look downwards to stop my tears of helplessness from escaping.
" I Iris Shawn , Queen of the witches , accept my defeat against alpha king, king of werewolves." And with that I felt like I was dying. Whole world must have known by now about my defeat. Actually I deserve this, today I failed my father, he was the one taught me from childhood that I was born to rule this kingdom, and now his kingdom is destroyed and I couldn't protect it.
he put my sister down, and she went on her knees, crying, I have stopped crying since a long time ago, tears can't stop reality, I have learnt that lesson as a child in a very hard way, I shouldn't be thinking about past right now so I looked at Eva, My light in the darkness. I won't let anything happen to her.
Soon alpha king came to me and stood a few steps away from me, I was still not looking at him
"beta Kane" he said and before I could register what was happening I felt a pinch on my neck and my eyes widened as my full body got covered in pain. I looked at the beta, he was holding a needle, as I looked at his face he was looking almost apologetic and soon I realized, he injected me with witch's bane, that pathetic man, now I can't use my powers any more. But how do they know about that? It's a witch secret, someone has to be a traitor.
We have to leave, despite of pain I rushed to Eva but before I could reach her someone grabbed my arm and soon I was back on my original place where I was standing. it was beta Kane who placed me in front of the alpha king again.
"Accept me as your king and submit to me" I was looking at Eva only but when I heard this my eyes snapped in his direction, directly looking in his eyes, how dare he say that. But before I could say anything he grabbed me by my arms and pulled me to him and said
"Mine"
Oh no, my hands where he was holding me, I can feel tingles and sparks and I was still looking in his eyes. I can even feel it now, a bond, between him and me, mate bond
But how is this possible? How can I be his mate? I pushed myself out from his grip and he growled. I started missing his warmth, I know this is mate bond, but in witches this happens after our marriage, only werewolf and vampires have destined mates, not us, how can I be his destined mate?
I started feeling dizzy from all the thinking and blood loss and pain, I was about to fall when two strong arms caught me.... that blue eyes were the last thing I saw and the word that I last heard was
"Mine"
