Chapter 6 – Journey to Past
The green stone pulsed in Koto's hand. "Ready?" he asked.
Makio and Tako exchanged tense glances. "We don't have a choice," Tako muttered.
All three touched the stone. ⚡ In an instant, their surroundings twisted—the desert vanished. They stood in ancient times, the air heavy with smoke and chanting. Massive stone blocks were being dragged by hundreds of workers. The pyramid was still under construction.
"Unbelievable…" Makio whispered.
But before they could take in more, a single name echoed in their minds: "Kyuta Nobara."
Makio clutched her head. "Who is this Kyuta?!"
Tako turned sharply to Koto. "You've been here before. Did you hear this name?"
Koto nodded uneasily. "Every single time. But no one answers me. It's like the name is carved into my brain."
Determined, they approached the villagers. "Kyuta? Kyuta Nobara?" Tako asked. But their words were meaningless—the people spoke an ancient tongue. Confusion spread, guards eyed them suspiciously, and before answers could come…
⏳ The sun set. Their two days ended.
In a flash, they were pulled back to the present.
