The Ring, Sadako
Looking at the strange situation in the room, Dina struggled to sit up from the bed, fear flashing across her face.
"What's going on?"
Xu Mo pushed her back down and glanced at the TV opposite the bed, his eyes faintly glowing purple.
"Lie still and don't move."
Instead of resisting, Dina looked almost thrilled at his command. She nodded quickly, curled herself into the quilt, and stared at him with eager eyes.
Xu Mo glanced at her sideways.
Pervert…
He then turned back to the TV.
The room was filling with resentment, and its source was the old box-style television. Though turned off, static suddenly lit up its screen.
Xu Mo froze.
A dry well? …The Ring—Sadako?!
The iconic scene was unforgettable. He had nearly forgotten Silent Hill wasn't the only horror woven into this world.
Unplugging the set didn't stop it. The images kept playing. Xu Mo smirked.
Tony would go crazy for this—free energy for his arc reactor project.
Calmly, he sat on the table near the TV, waiting.
Minutes later, a pair of filthy hands emerged from the well on screen. Dina almost screamed but clamped her mouth shut, obeying her master's earlier command.
A figure in a white dress, hair hanging over her face, began crawling out of the television.
When she finally raised her head, Xu Mo's smiling face was the first thing she saw—white teeth flashing in the dark. A chill swept through her.
Before she could react, Xu Mo's glowing hand seized her long black hair and dragged her fully into the room. Black energy bound her instantly.
Her scream split the silence as Xu Mo pummeled her relentlessly, his enhanced strength driving purple-lit fists into her body. The spirit who was supposed to feel no pain convulsed in agony under every blow.
After several minutes, Xu Mo tied her in midair with a rope of purple energy and watched her struggle.
Under the matted hair and dirt, her features became clear—European, not Japanese. This was the American version of Sadako. And she was… beautiful.
Xu Mo let a purple whip form in his hand. His eyes narrowed.
"Are you going to cooperate willingly—or not?"
---
Half an hour later, Xu Mo dismissed the binding rope, letting her spectral body fade away.
Her name wasn't Sadako—it was Morgan. And this wasn't her only form. She admitted that even if this body was destroyed, she would survive. These were just her countless clones.
Xu Mo had suspected as much. With so many victims across the world, there had to be multiple projections. But she refused to reveal the location of her true body, keeping silent until he destroyed this form.
Still, Xu Mo wasn't worried. Jason and the others had clearly seen the videotape already. With the tape in hand, it wouldn't be hard to summon her again.
As Morgan's presence vanished, Xu Mo sensed Dina's body lighten—the resentment inside her had dissipated.
He turned. Dina's eyes burned with desire.
"Master… I want that too."
"…Which one?"
She licked her lips and pointed at the purple whip in his hand.
Xu Mo felt heat rise in his chest.
This woman's a hopeless pervert.
