Izuku sat infront of All Might in his office as said hero poured hot water into a pot of tea both discussing the pros remaning time limit being the symbol of peace.
All might: Yeah that's about how long I can use my power now, had you not beaten the Nomu then it probably would be shorter it must've taken a lot out of you unfortunately at this point I can barely look like All Might for an hour and a half but it should be fine here have some tea
he placed a cup of green tea infront of him
Izuku: thanks
All Might: I brought you here to talk about the sports festival, the problem being you can't fully control that arm of yours so I suggest you focus on only using one for all but that's up to you what's the plan ?
Rokuro: The plan is we win the whole thing !!!
Izuku: while I want to use one for all I also have something else something I woke when I was saving Elizabeth
All Might: something else like a new power?
Izuku: yeah but I can't remember what it was
izuku looked at his palm
Izuku: All I can remember was the anger this burning feeling growing in my chest I didn't understand it
All Might: Hmm I see sounds like your anger subconsciously awoke a new part of that mysterious power of yours... Tea's getting cold
Izuku: oh yeah
He picked the cup up and took a seat as All Might stood up and walked to a window " to be frank I don't have much time as the symbol of peace, soon it'll be time to put that title to bed" Izuku looked down upset.

Rokuro: hey cheer up soon it'll be our turn to take over by a new symbol
All Might: I gave you my power for one reason cause you will be the hero who will take my place! I remember every moment of your growth how we came to where we are so tell me do you still feel the same as you did then?
Izuku: yes!
All Might: Excellent, the time has come for you to prove it this sports festival it's something that the pros no the entire country will be watching closely it's time to make your debut, you are the fledgling symbol of peace the next All Might ! Izuku Midoriya I want you to introduce yourself to the world and proudly say I am here!

All Might froze " eh" Izuku stood up " don't get me wrong I'm proud to be your successor but I don't want to become you I want to be me not the next All Might or the next symbol of peace I want to be something different, I want to be my own hero a beacon...
(past) Rokuro: I made a promise to defeat all the Kegare
( past) Izuku: I want to be like you, I want to save people!
Izuku: I want to become the beacon of hope
All Might looked at Izuku with wide eyes the light shining down on him as if it was the new age making him smile.
All Might: Hehehe you're right to become your own hero and I promise to support you to hold you up as best I can so one day I can see the reality in which you have become the beacon of hope!
Izuku nodded and smiled at him
Rokuro( crying): THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL !!!!
All Might: alright head to class, oh and one more thing hold on to how you felt at the beach during our training
Izuku nodded and ran off

Class 1A was about to leave to get some food when they were stopped by a pile of students standing at the door
Uraraka: AH WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ALL HERE!!!
Iida: do you students have some sort of business with our class
Ruby: how weird why are they just standing there?
Mineta: Why are you blocking the door way I won't let you hold us hostage!
Bakugo walked past them towards the door " they're scouting out the competition idiots we're the class that survived a real villain attack, they want to see us with their own eyes" he said as Mineta shook and pointed at him.
Izuku: I just hope he doesn't explode anybody
Bakugo: at least now you know what a future pro looks like now move it extras
he said rudely causing Izuku, Uraraka, Iida and Ruby to jump
Iida: you can't just go around calling people extras because you don't know who they are !!
Yang: Yeah quit being a jerk Bakago hehe get it
??: So this is class 1A I heard you guys were impressive but you just sound like an ass. Is everyone in the hero course this delusional or is it just you?
Bakugo: huh!?
??: How sad to come here and find just a bunch of egomaniacs. I wanted to be in the hero course but like many others here I was forced to pick a different track such as life. I didn't cut it the first time around but I have another chance, if any of us do well in the sports festival the teachers can decide to transfer us into the hero course. Then they'll have to transfer people out to make room
he said scaring some of the class

But Bakugo just ignored him as he kept walking through the crowd while clicking his tongue in annoyance
"Hey, I was talking to you!! now I'm definitely going to take you 1A jerks down! DON'T YOU IGNORE ME!!"
Tired of this mess, Izuku decided to do something to end it
Izuku: Excuse me
Shinsou, Tetsutetsu, and the other students from other courses and the 1-A class turned to Izuku who approached the purple-haired boy
Izuku: Firstly As a representative of class 1-A, I apologise for Bakugo, but know that he doesn't represent us and secondly If I were you I would be careful with my words
Shinsou: What do you mean?
Izuku: You came here talking as if we wanted to get attacked as if we were happy we had to fight villains but you have no right to judge us. We nearly died that day friends of mine were nearly killed and we were terrified so how can you come up here and say we're jerks, especially you from class 1B who went through it with us?
he narrowed his eyes at Tetsutetsu who looked down
Izuku: You want to be heroes fine, you want into the hero course fine, you want to challenge us all the more power to ya but if you come up here and call my friends' jerks the same friends who fought with me that day then you're picking the fight with the wrong person you got that !! So come at us with all your challenges and fight with everything you got cause we won't hold back and as for your declaration of war we accept!
He said fully serious and determined. Everyone was left speechless and some reflected on what Izuku said to them. 1-A was happy, relieved and amazed that Izuku had defended them half the class was also upset with themselves for thinking harshly of their friend
Shinso: heh maybe all of you aren't bad well thanks for accepting my declaration I hope to see you at the festival
the students then left them
Class 1A thoughts: oh thank God they don't hate us anymore thank you Midoriya/Izu/Dekiru/Midori
Mina: Midori! Thanks for making them think differently about us!!
Mina said with her usual smile but this time hugging him from the behind
Uraraka: Mina what are you doing!?
Mina: What I'm just giving him a thank you hug
Ruby, Yang, Blake, Tsuyu and shockingly Jiro also helped to pull her off

Izuku: M-M-Mina I-I c-can f-feel th-them against my back !!!

she asked confused before catching on and blushing but also smiling cheekily and whispering into his ear" per-vert~" Izuku became bright red as the girls finally managed to pull her off
Mineta/Kaminari thought: Lucky bastard !!!
Izuku: alright guys we have three weeks to prepare so let's do this !!!

" The UA sports festival is in two weeks the whole thing will be live on tv"
Izuku was sprinting at high speed with Rimuri and Shuna timing him as Shion chased him using her sword to try and hit him but he was using his one for all by itself to fend off her attacks
" There's no doubt that whoever impresses the audience will have a better chance at becoming a pro hero one day "
Izuku was fighting against Rokuro in his minds-cape training to better control his arm and to use Rokuros techniques
" We won't know what the games will be till the first day they could throw any trial at us "
Izuku was doing crunches on the floor with Rimuri, Shion and Shuna drooling at the sight and Inko was talking happily on the phone with someone giggling and blushing as well while she lied on Rangas soft fur
" So we have to prepare for all possibilities"
Izuku was asleep with the girls but he was glowing red meanwhile the others who were training pushed them selves as well.
Iida was sprinting at high speeds around UA
Tsuyu was practising her high speed swimming
Shoji was lifting weights
Toru was doing pull-ups
Ruby was evading Yangs' hits and hitting Yang with her quirk constantly being used which was tiring for her and Yang was using her quirk to move faster and hit harder as she tried to attack her sister
Blake was using her clones to fight down some UA robots
Kirishima was using his quirk to jump off a building
Sero was swinging with his tape
Uraraka was floating objects
Mina was throwing acid at the objects Uraraka floated
Aoyama did the same with his Navel Laser
Koda was getting along with the animals
Ojiro was bouncing to different roofs using his table
Sato was eating more and more sugar to power up
Bakugo was firing constant explosions
Kaminari was raising his limit with electricity
Tokoyami was training to control Darkshadow under light
Jiro was focusing on her accuracy using her ear Jacks
Mineta was just being Mineta
Momo was studying
And Todoroki he was training his close combat in the backyard of his home
" days passed all the training made time go by quickly before we knew it the day of the festival had come "
Inko: izuku please be careful and don't get hurt

He got up and finished tying his shoelace
Inko: do your best sweetie we'll see you there
Izuku nodded with a smile" are you sure you don't want to just go with me there guys ?" he asked his mother and the girls
Shuna: we would but we still have some food to finish making once we're done we'll leave
Izuku: Okay I'm off love you guys!
He kissed his mother's cheek and ran out of the building
Rokuro: we should really thank principal Nezu for letting Inko and the girls come

At the festival:
At the sport festival
Outside the arena, there were massive lines of security and groups of reporters trying to barge their way in
Reporter lady: The security line is huge what's the deal?
Cameraman: Well a bunch of villains did just break in of course the security's stronger this year, some people think they shouldn't even be hosting the event this year
Reporter lady: Perfect nothing brings ratings more than controversy and everyone's excited to see class
1A she said raising her microphone into the air with a devilish grin
inside we could see people wandering around the dozens of stands selling food and merchandise for heroes and people alike
random: Oh man I always love when they bring out the third years since they have the most experience with their quirks plus it's their last chance to show what they can do
Random 2: Nah this time it's all about those powerful first years
Random women: Hey did you hear Endeavor's son is part of the first years can you imagine
Random 5: Seriously... man the 1A stands are gonna be pact
Mt lady who was accompanied by Death arms and Kamui arrived at one stall selling Takoyaki
Mt lady: I'll take one to go, please
she said seductively to the food seller who blushed when he saw her " gasp Mt lady is it really you?" he asked the women
Mt lady: And hold the salt will you
seller: Of course! that's gonna be 10 bucks
Mt gasped and put on a charade " huh oh no my money's in another costume "
Seller: SO HOT IT'S ON THE HOUSE!!
Mt lady: Aren't you a dear
Kamui: Have you no sense of shame?
the three continued then made their way to where they would need to watch out for villains
Kamui: I was hoping to do some scouting while I was here
Death arms: Yeah too bad we're stuck working security this time
Mt lady: mmm looks like they called a bunch of pro heroes from all over to guard this thing quite a show
in the 1A waiting room
Mina: Aw man! I was totally hoping to be in my costume
Ojiro: well at least everyone else is gonna be in their sports uniforms as well at least that makes things fair
Sato: I wonder what they have in store for us in the first round
Tokoyami: no matter what they throw at us we must perceiver
Shoji: right!
He nodded behind Tokoyami when the door opened revealing Iida
Iida: everyone get your game faces on we're entering the arena soon!
Ruby: aww man I'm so nervous
Yang: me too
They hugged each other before feeling someone pet them looking up they saw Izuku smiling " you have nothing to worry about trust me you'll do great"
several girls in the room stared at them with jealousy while the two stared at Izuku with blushes when Shoto approached Izuku
Shoto: Midoriya...
he said walking up to him
Izuku: hey Todoroki what's up?
he asked as everyone looked their way
( imagine Izuku as tall as him)
Todoroki: from an objective standpoint it's fairly clear that you're the strongest in our class, especially with that arm of yours
Izukus eyes widened slightly before he clenched his right arm " and " he narrowed his eyes
Todoroki: you also have All Might standing in your corner helping you out, I'm not here to pry on what's going on with you two but know that I will beat you
Kaminari: what's with all these declarations of war
Kirishima ran up to them and put his hand on Shotos shoulder " yeah what's the big deal why are you picking fights all of a sudden" but Shoto hit his arm off his shoulder
Todoroki: We're not here to be each other's friend don't forget this isn't a team effort
he began walking away
Izuku: wait a sec Todoroki I don't know what's going through your head or why you think you need to tell me that you'll beat me and yeah sure I'm strong but it's clear you alone have more potential than anyone in the hero course to become a pro that's why you got in so easily
Kirishima: Midoriya I think you're being too hard on yourself and us
Izuku: No!
he shouted raising his voice again but this time with a serious expression " He's right all the other courses they're coming at us with all they've got, we're all gonna have to fight to stand out and I'll be aiming for the top too"
In the arena:
The sounds of dozens of people cheering roared through the sky as fireworks were launched in the air now in UAs sports arena we set off the beginning of the sports festival
Present Mic: Welcome back to the UAs sports festival where UA students will lay out all they have on the field fighting for the chance to achieve world-like fame and celebrity this first group of up-and-coming heroes are no strangers from the spot light you know them as the class that survived the villain attack they're the dazzlings students beaming with solid gold skills that's right it's the hero course students from class 1A!!!!!!
Inko: Oh good we made it
Rimuri: Thank my slime
she said holding a basket with a mouth-watering smell.
Nezu: Ah miss Midoriya please come sit
Inko and the girls were at the teachers' booth where Nezu made sure they were comfortable as a thank you to Izuku for saving everyone in the USJ. Aizawa who saw Inko from next to Mic blushed and looked away as Inko giggled and waved at him causing some teachers to look in confusion and intrigue

Shion thoughts: Kick their butts darling
Shuna thoughts: You can do this Izu
All Might thoughts: This is your moment young Midoriya introduce yourself to the world as the next number 1!
They said as class 1A came out of the hall
And walked forward to the centre of the field Izuku looked around nervously unlike the rest of his classmates who had no worries
Izuku: I didn't know there'd be so many people
Iida: I just hope we can give our best performances even though all these eyes are watching us I suppose this is just one trial we'll face becoming heroes
Kirishima: present Mic sure talked us up a lot kinda makes me nervous how about you guys?
Katsuki: I'm not worried makes me want to win this thing even more
Rokuro: this guy is gonna say the wrong thing and get punched one day
Izuku nodded
Present mic: and let's not forget the class behind these guys they haven't hadn't much time in the light but they aren't far please welcome class 1B !!!
he shouted as the class 1B walked into the field right behind the others
Present Mic: Next up the general studies classes C, D and E, support studies have G and H and from the business courses R, J and K give it up for your first-year contestants !!!!!
everyone cheered louder than before with so much excitement and electricity in the air
random guy : I feel like we're just here to make the hero course look good
random girl: I can't wait for this to be over with
and now standing infront of the students was Midnight with her whip
Midnight: Now the introductory speech !!!
Her very presence hypnotised every male looking at her pro or not mask or no a blush dawned on each males face
Random hero: This year's supervisor is Midnight the R-rated hero
The men's eyes wandered all over her body as she smiled and flicked her hair some would say you could see sparkles appear around her
Random hero: Amazing
random hero: Right
Kirishima: Uh someone should talk to ms Midnight about what she's wearing
Kaminari: Yeah that costume should come with a warning
Tokoyami: Is that really appropriate apparel for a high school game
he asked as Mineta put a thumbs up with all the excitement in the world
Midnight: SILENCE EVERYONE AND FOR THE STUDENT PLEDGE WE HAVE...IZUKU MIDORIYA !!!
Izuku: H-Huh?! W-Who?! Me?!
Izuku was beyond shocked
Bakugou: DAMNIT!!! Why the nerd!!
Iida: It's to be expected since you did come first during the entrance exams
Izuku: B-B-But I...
Ochako: Go, Dekiru! You can do it !!
Blake: You'll be fine
Kyouka: You just have to speak from the heart

Despite being nervous, Izuku went to the stage and stood in front of the microphone, but you could see clear as day that he was very nervous
Midnight: Don't be nervous, you can do it
She said giving a smile and a wink.
Looking around the entire stadium Izuku could hear some people murmuring the memories of his past the pain, loneliness and so much more all he had to endure in fear of the power that saved him all of it was finally going to come out in his words for the pledge he would make was one written in stone an art of destiny
Izuku: Not all people are created equal. I learnt that when I was four years old. I learnt that in reality, the world isn't fair. and while some are born with a strong quirk, there are also those who are judged ...especially those who don't have a quirk. The Quirkless. These are the people who suffered the most, as these people lose hope in their dreams because they don't have the quirks many take for granted
In Hosu:
The people were watching Izukus's speech on the tv the hero killer himself stopped his work to listen to him
At UA:
Izuku: When I was a child, I was often beaten I was beaten just because I existed and because I wanted to be a hero. So I asked myself Is it a sin? Did I commit some form of blasphemy because I said I wants to be a hero? Each and every one of us has our reasons for being a hero, and I have my own reasons too, that includes all the people watching me right now. So why do the quirkless deserve to be beaten down and be hated for something they couldn't control? I was bullied, hit, verbally abused and had a lot of my confidence taken because of the people who constantly put me down but I never gave up
Izuku: The reasons why were simple my mother, who supported me and loved me. And my reason for the very belief is that no matter happens you push through and become who you want to be! It's not how much you can take it and It's not about being talented or having a powerful quirk, it's all about the person behind that quirk and how far they're willing to go to reach their dreams like everyone here before me!
All the students felt the flame of determination growing inside because of his words, while the girls, All Might, Class 1A, Aizawa and Inko were all smiling.
Izuku: I am Izuku Midoriya and I want to be a hero who saves those in need even if it seems impossible. Because that's what it means to be a hero! Even if the whole world is against me, I will still stand for you, I will keep pushing myself until I take my last breath!! Because I have something to fight for. Because there are people who I care about and they care for me! And because it's the right thing to do! That's my reason for becoming a hero! So to the people who are watching me never give up! No matter what your quirk is keep going. Fight the obstacle ahead and fight for your dreams. Rise beyond the ashes and keep going to save the day and become the person you want to become I believe in every one of you so go beyond Plus Ultra !!!
He finished with his fist raised high and his eyes closed
The stadium was silent not a single sound was heard. Until they heard someone clap, and then someone else, and then three more until everyone in the stadium clapped and cheered standing. Everyone gave a round of applause for the young hero, Izuku Midoriya.
Their applause held respect, admiration and inspiration for Izuku to become a hero speaking of Izuku he was left gawking at their praise. Unable to believe what he was seeing. The entire audience was cheering... for him. He heard their cheers and the students behind him, he saw that all the students except the obvious ones were cheering him on too.
Midnight: well done. That speech was beautiful another round of applause for young Midoriya !!
the crowd cheered once more as Izuku walked towards his friends half of them crying with pride in him meanwhile Bakugo was glaring at him enraged
Midnight: Without further ado, it's time for us to get started! The first game will be decided by the wheel this is where you'll be feeling the pain
the wheel on the screen behind her spun " what could it be?" she asked before it stopped revealing the first game
Midnight: Tada all eleven classes will participate in this treacherous contest the track goes outside 4 km around the stadium I don't want to restrain anyone at least in this game( she licks her lip) mhm as long as you don't leave the course you're free to do whatever your heart desires( the crowd cheers) Now then take your places contestants !!!!
