A New Beginning at School
Ray Ozen's first day at his new school began with an unexpected sense of peace. The anxiety of moving to a new town, starting fresh, and dealing with the strange events of the past days—where a mysterious demon had tried to claim him—seemed distant now. He was ready to blend in and focus on his studies.
As the bell rang, signaling the start of class, Ozen walked through the halls with his friend James, heading to their classroom. The school was large, modern, and buzzing with energy. His eyes took in the new surroundings—students rushing to their lockers, chatting with friends, and the hum of excited voices that filled the air. For once, it felt good to be part of something normal, even though a part of him couldn't forget the strange encounter with Jack .
When they entered the classroom, Ozen was surprised to find that his seat was next to Karen—the girl he'd seen earlier. She smiled politely at him when they locked eyes, and he gave a small, casual nod, focusing more on the fact that he'd be sharing a desk with someone one like her and studying not bad .
James, always the chatty one, had already started talking about their classmates and the various clubs and events the school offered. As the teacher entered ,a tired-looking math instructor who gave a half-hearted introduction .Ozen decided to focus on the lesson, trying his best to absorb the material, all while stealing glances at Karen. There was something about her quiet, calm presence that intrigued him. It wasn't just her beauty—it was the way she carried herself, mature beyond her years. It was something Ozen couldn't quite place, but it drew him in.
The Break and the Bullies
The first few hours passed quickly, and soon it was time for break. Ozen found himself walking the halls, exploring the school, taking in the various rooms, sports areas, and the bustling cafeteria. He enjoyed the solitude of wandering, letting his mind settle away from the noise of school life.
It was then that he heard the commotion—a muffled voice, a cry for help. Curiosity piqued, Ozen followed the noise down a hallway, rounding a corner to find two boys, older than him, ganging up on a smaller, scrawny student. The kid was crouched in a corner, clutching his stomach, face bruised and tear-streaked.
For a moment, Ozen thought about walking away. It wasn't his problem, after all. He wasn't the hero type. But then, a memory surfaced—his late father's voice echoing in his mind: "Do what's right, not what's easy. You don't have to fight to be strong, but you should always protect the weak."
With a deep breath, Ozen decided to act. His calm demeanor didn't falter as he walked up to the bullies. "Hey," he called, his voice low but steady.
The bullies paused, turning toward him with amused smirks. One of them, a tall, muscular kid with a scar across his cheek, stepped forward. "And what's this, huh? You here to play hero?" he sneered, cracking his knuckles. "What are you gonna do about it, new kid?"
Ozen asked how he knew he was a new kid with a calm demeanor, the bully replied
" every kid in this school knows who's we are and won't dare to stand up to us because the know they consequences"
Ozen didn't flinch. He was calm, confident, calculating. "I'd suggest you stop. I've already called the authorities and recorded the whole thing." He pulled out his phone and held it up, showing the camera, though it was a bluff. "You wouldn't want this to go any further."
The bullies exchanged glances, clearly uncertain. Their tough demeanor wavered slightly, and after a few tense seconds, the scar-faced bully grunted in frustration and motioned for his friend to leave.
"Don't think this is over, kid," the bully spat, his eyes narrowing. "We'll remember you."
As they walked off, Ozen turned to the injured student, offering him a hand. "Come on. Let's get you to the infirmary."
The boy, still shaking, took his hand. Ozen helped him up, careful not to cause him more pain, and they walked toward the nurse's office. But as they passed through the hallway, Ozen couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching them. He glanced over his shoulder, but no one was there.
The Encounter with the Bullies
Later that afternoon, after school, Ozen walked home alone, his mind still on the event with the bullies. He didn't mind standing up for what was right, but he couldn't help but feel uneasy about their threat.
As he moved down a quieter street, the sun began to set, casting long shadows on the pavement. Suddenly, a pair of strong hands grabbed him from behind and yanked him into the bushes, where no one could see or hear him.
Ozen's heart raced as he struggled to free himself, but it was no use. The bullies had come back, and they were angry.
"Thought you could just walk away, huh?" one of them growled, his voice low and menacing. It was the scar-faced bully. "You embarrassed us earlier. Now we're gonna make you pay."
The other bully, a heavier-set kid, stood nearby, his arms crossed, watching with a grin.

"You're gonna learn what it means to disrespect us," the scar-faced bully sneered, raising his fist. The sounds of punches landing filled the air. Ozen gritted his teeth as the blows rained down, but he refused to show weakness.

Each hit only fueled his defiance, and as the pain built, his thoughts raced. This wasn't how he was going to back down. He refused to let these guys think they could control him.
The beating continued, and the bullies grew more and more frustrated as Ozen wouldn't submit. His face was swollen, and blood oozed from his mouth and nose, but he didn't cry out.
"You're stubborn, kid," the scar-faced bully spat. "But you'll break. We'll make sure of it."
With a final, forceful blow, Ozen's world went black.
The Awakening
Ozen's body felt cold, and his vision was blurry when he slowly came to. His face ached, and his body trembled, but he pushed through the pain.
"Stop," he whispered weakly, his voice cracked and broken.
The bullies turned to see him standing, his posture bent as if on the verge of collapse. But there was something different in his eyes.
A chilling grin spread across his face, and his body began to pulse with an unnatural energy. Dark shadows swirled around him, an orange glow oozing from his form like liquid fire. The bullies froze, eyes wide with terror.
Before they could react, Ozen's form began to shift. His body morphed, transforming into something otherworldly. The energy around him intensified, and the glowing pumpkin-headed figure appeared—his school uniform still intact, but now a menacing aura surrounded him.
"Don't leave just yet," the pumpkin-headed figure grinned, his voice echoing with dark amusement. "The fun is just about to begin."
Screams erupted from the bullies as they tried to run, but their legs wouldn't move. The dark energy held them in place. They were paralyzed, unable to escape as the figure loomed over them.
The only sound that could be heard was their desperate cries, which grew more distant as the energy intensified. It was the last thing the bullies would hear before the world around them went black.
