Serena's Pov:
What's… what's happening?" I whispered again, trying to peek through the crowd. Students were shoving each other toward the center lawn, laughter and screams bouncing off the walls, and the energy was wild almost impossible to follow.
Sarah gave my hand a gentle squeeze, her touch calm and grounding. "You're about to see why this school loses it's mind sometimes," she said softly, her voice almost a quiet anchor in the chaos.
I followed her gaze, and then it began.
The main doors swung open, and a guy walked in.
He moved with a sort of casual precision, like every step was measured, every gesture deliberate. His jacket was sharp, tailored perfectly, shoes gleaming, hair styled to flawless perfection. Girls in the crowd gasped and clutched at their friends. Some even fainted like they saw a ghost or something or at least fell onto the laps of their best friends in a tangle of squeals and laughter. Boys tried to mimic him, puffing out their chests, tilting their heads, pretending to be as confident, as if they could somehow borrow a piece of his presence.
"That's Alex," Sarah said quietly, glancing down at me, her tone flat but gentle. "Ignore the drama. He doesn't care about it. He's… just Alex but trust me you won't like to be on his bad side"
A trembling student stepped forward with a small bouquet, hands shaking. Alex caught it without looking too closely, gave a half-smile that didn't reach his eyes, and gently yet deliberately tossed it back. The girl squealed in surprise, and a few nearby students groaned, whispering furiously about how rude it was. Alex barely blinked, moving forward as if none of it mattered.
Before I could digest that, another guy walked in
He was all motion and energy, almost a contrast to Alex's poised elegance. The crowd erupted again, louder this time, shrieking and waving their arms like they were at a concert. A student handed him a box of chocolates; he caught it, shook it slightly as if testing its weight, and then flung it into the air. A few chocolates landed on heads, others rolled across the lawn. Everyone gasped. One girl stumbled, but he only smirked, tossing his hair and striding forward with a playful bounce in his step.
"And that's Ace," Sarah said softly, her calm voice carrying above the chaos. "Ignore the theatrics. He likes to play… it's harmless.A tech genuis, nonchalant, doesn't care about anything that's not related to tech"
I exhaled slowly, gripping my bag tighter. "Harmless? That looks… wild."
A hush settled briefly before the third boy emerged. He didn't rush, didn't pose, didn't even seem to notice the crowd's reaction. He glided across the lawn, almost as if he were floating. Students practically threw themselves in front of him, hoping for a glance, a word, anything but his face remained serene. He acknowledged no one, and somehow, that made the frenzy around him feel ridiculous.
"That's Antonio," Sarah murmured, giving me a slight smile. "He doesn't need the theatrics. People notice him anyway, big time playboy. If he tells you he likes you…think twice before accepting his proposal"
I shook my head, trying to wrap my mind around the fact that all this chaos could be happening, and yet, Sarah seemed calm untouched by it. Her presence made it feel almost normal, even as I looked at the fainting students and the flailing hands.
Then came the main event. The doors opened wider this time, and the crowd seemed to part, almost instinctively. Every student's gaze snapped forward as a tall figure stepped out. Broad-shouldered, hair dark and carefully styled, his presence immediately demanded attention.
The moment he took his first step onto the lawn, a wave of screams rolled through the crowd. Girls shrieked, some swooning dramatically. Boys copied his posture, puffing their chests and trying to mimic the slow, commanding way he moved. Gifts appeared in hands almost automatically a small box of chocolates, a bouquet, a neatly wrapped notebook but he wasn't interested.
The first girl knelt nervously, offering a bouquet. He bent down slightly, gave a short sniff, and tossed it lightly over her shoulder. Another boy offered a carefully wrapped gift; He tore it open, inspected it briefly, and flung the contents into the fountain. Water splashed onto students' shoes, and a few fainted right on the floor. I instinctively clutched Sarah's arm.
Sarah didn't flinch. Her hand brushed against mine, calm and steady. "Yep," she said quietly. "That's Aaron."
I blinked. Blinked again. My stomach tightened, and I couldn't look away. Every step he took seemed deliberate, dramatic, almost theatrical but in a way that made everyone else around him collapse into hysteria.
Some students dropped to their knees, offering gifts, only to have them rejected in increasingly ridiculous ways. A small box of chocolates was flung across the lawn, landing near a group of boys who scrambled to pick it up. A girl tried to hand him a bouquet of roses, but Aaron simply shook his head and flicked it lightly back into her arms, smirking. Even as chaos swirled, Sarah remained composed, walking alongside me like none of this mattered.
I looked up at her. "How… how can you stay so calm? And these students are crazy"
She smiled gently, still guiding me through the madness. "I've seen it all before. These entrances happen every time they come back from a break. The school goes insane, but the boys themselves… it's nothing new. Trust me and yes, the students are crazy especially the female. They go Crazy when they see them,I mean you see them everyday. They're students like you"
I exhaled, trying to focus on her voice instead of the screaming crowd, the fainting students, the flying gifts. The chaos felt like it could swallow me whole, but Sarah's presence grounded me.
Aaron took another slow step forward, his eyes scanning the crowd like he owned it which, for the moment, it felt like he did. Students rushed toward him with more gifts, more attention, more anticipation. And then, as if on cue, Sarah murmured softly, just loud enough for me to hear:
"And… those guys are CPHS A4s for you. Popularly called CPHS kings,Well known in the school and annoying, I just hate their guts"
I swallowed hard, heart hammering, realizing this was only the beginning First it was the students and cheer queens now the "A4s" just in one day. He was walking toward us now, deliberate and confident,The other guys following behind him and I had no idea what he was going to do next.
