Wayne endured a slap from Emily O'Stewart without speaking a word, but his hand still tightly gripped her wrist.
Emily couldn't break free, so she angrily looked back at her bodyguard.
"Carl Bell, beat him up for me!" Emily yelled.
The man called Carl took a step forward and slapped Wayne's wrist.
With a "pa" sound, Wayne's wrist felt acute pain, and his hand involuntarily let go.
"Wayne, so, after following Albert Turner, you don't even know your own last name, huh?" Carl sneered.
Wayne's face looked a bit unsightly, and he forced a bitter smile. "Senior Brother, it's true that Miss O'Stewart was in the wrong here…"
"I don't care who is right and who is wrong, Master has ordered me to protect her!" Carl snorted coldly.
"Stop wasting time, beat him up for me!" Emily, like an angry lion, kept shouting and yelling.
----
My face grew colder.
I coldly looked at Emily and said, "You're so young, yet so arrogant. How did your parents educate you?"
