Awakening occurs between the ages of twelve and sixteen—the earlier it happens, the greater the potential the awakener holds. There are two paths: natural and forced. Natural awakening, the safest and most desired, happens as the body matures on its own.
Forced awakening, however, takes harsher forms—either through a serum infused with condensed nexus energy, or by plunging oneself into life-threatening trials to shock the body into awakening.
