We see Pyrrha, as she is gearing up in a locker room. As she walks out of the locker room, we cut to her fighting against, what appeared to be, four Kamen Riders, wearing simple, black suits that reassemble Kamen Riders Geats, Buffa and Tycoon's Entry Raise Forms, the sole difference being the helmets lacking animal motifs. These Kamen Riders being called "Keibi Riders", and each of the four Keibi Riders was using a single, small Raise Buckle, one with Armed Shield, one with Armed Hammer, one with Armed Claw, and one with Armed Arrow, respectively. While she is still exiting toward the arena, the scene cuts to her fight with the four Keibi Riders, who she eventually managed to singlehandedly defeat. Glynda approaches from behind the four Keibi Riders, as they suddenly start vanishing into thin air, until their completely gone. Now, you're probably wondering why Pyrrha was fighting four Keibi Riders, and why they vanished. Well you see, not the long ago, Nick built a new training system for the students. This system creates life-like holograms from a database Nick made, himself, as well as change the entire arena into different environments. Nick calls this system the "Augmented Reality Combat System", or "A.R.C. System" for short. He also had the explain that the system's name being the same as Jaune's last name is just a coincidence.
Glynda: "And that's the match. Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament."
Pyrrha: "Thank you, professor."
Rossweisse: (thought) 'Pyrrha Nikos definitely has amazing potential. She would even make a fine Valkyrie. Plus, Nick Brown's new training system is remarkable.'
Oh yeah. In case any of you forgot, Rossweisse, who is a Valkyrie from Asgard, is here too.
Glynda: (Taps her Scroll.) "Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match. (Glynda looks around at the observing students.) Any volunteers? Ms. Belladonna? (Blake slams her book shut and stares wide-eyed at Glynda.) You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you -"
Mercury then raises his hand.
Mercury: "I'll do it."
Glynda: "Mercury, is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent. Would you like to face an opponent from Mr. Brown's new training system?"
Mercury: "Actually, I wanna fight...him."
Mercury points to...Nick.
Nick: "Me?"
Glynda: "I'm afraid that challenging Mr. Brown to a match would be a very poor decision. I strongly recommend you choose another partner."
Mercury: (Not understanding why) "So he's the "Brown" guy who built that weird training system. Why can't I fight him? Afraid I'm gonna hurt him?"
Yang: "More like he's gonna hurt you, dude."
Mercury: "Yeah right...he doesn't seem tough. It'd be easy."
Jaune: "That guy does not know what he's trying to get himself into."
Nick: "It's fine! I'd be happy to fight him. Besides, there's a Driver I've been wanting to try out for a while."
Glynda: (sighs) "Very well then." (thought) 'That Mercury boy clearly does not know who he just challenged to a match.'
Soon, Nick and Mercury both walk into the arena, as Nick then pulls out a new Driver. This one being black, with two slots on the top, and a lever on the right-hand side. Nick then places the Driver on his waist.
Driver: Build Driver!
Mercury: (confused by the Driver) "What's the deal with the belt?"
Ruby: (excited by the new Driver) "Oh, it's a new Driver!"
Yang: "Wonder what he can transform into with that one."
Nick then holds out a small red bottle in his left hand, and a matching blue bottle in his right hand.
Weiss: "What are those bottles for?"
Nick: "Now then, shall we begin the experiment?"
Nick then starts shaking the two bottles, as a strange math equation appears floating past him and Mercury. This making everyone confused about the equation. Nick then twists the knobs on the top of the two bottles.
Build Driver: (Nick places the red bottle in the right slot of the Driver) Rabbit! (Nick then places the blue bottle in the left slot of the Driver) Tank! Best Match!
Nick then turns the lever on the right side of the Build Driver, as two pipes come out of the Driver, a red pipe going in front of Nick, while a blue pipe goes behind him. The two pipes then form snap body pieces, the red pipe forming the left-half of the face, the right arm, and left leg, while the blue pipe forms the right-half of the face, the left arm, and right leg.
Build Driver: Are you ready?
Nick: "Kamen Rider! Build Up!"
The two snap bodies then snap together onto Nick, forming his armor.
Build Driver: Moonsault of Steel! RabbitTank! Yay!
Seeing this makes all the present Beacon students amazed, while the students from the other academies are shocked by what they just witnessed, including Mercury, as he now knows who he's fighting against.
Mercury: "What the heck?! You're...the Kamen Rider?!"
KR Build: "Yup! The one and only! Now then...shall we get started?"
Emerald: (looks at Nick's girlfriends and friends) "Hold on! So that guy is the Kamen Rider?!"
Yang: "Oh yeah. It's actually been common knowledge that Nick's the Kamen Rider here at Beacon since the initiation."
Emerald: "I was not expecting that...Mercury's done for..."
Despite now knowing who his opponent is, Mercury charges at Build, and tries to kick him. Only for Build to dodge with incredible speed, and knocks Mercury back. Recovering quickly, he deflects an attack and begins trading blows with Build until he knocks him back with a kick from his left leg, with the kick being stronger due to the Rabbit Halfbody having a spring built into the left leg. Ruby turns toward Emerald, who is sitting behind her.
Ruby: "Hey, your friend's doing pretty good."
Emerald gives a fake smile and then has a worried expression on her face once Ruby turns her back, clearly concerned for her teammate, who is fighting the Kamen Rider of all people. Mercury unleashes a series of powerful strikes, as Build allows his kick to slam against his forearm before sending Mercury flying away. Build uses his speed to dodge Mercury's next kick. As he charges at him with his speed, Mercury shoots to avoid Build's attack and turns his back to him. Build then tries to rush Mercury again.
Mercury: "I forfeit!"
Build stops using the spring on his left leg, and the tread on his right foot, as he stops beside Mercury.
KR Build: "You...are just calling quits?"
Mercury: "What's the point in continuing? You're the greatest warrior on the planet. We're obviously leagues apart. I was obviously going to loose anyways. Might as well save myself the humiliation."
Glynda: (offscreen) "In that case...Nick Brown is the victor of the match."
Emerald sighs in relief for her teammate being okay. Mercury looks down in embarrassment, as he thought Nick would've been an easy opponent, and let his confidence get the better of himself. Build switches back into Nick, with a disappointed look on his face, and places his left hand on his hip. The Aura displays for Nick and Mercury are shown as Mercury's Aura is changed from green to red, indicating his loss. Admittingly, Nick was actually glad that someone challenged him to a match. Seeing as Team CRDL (Cardinal) are currently still suspended, and also now missing, nobody has challenged Nick to a match at all, not even his friends or girlfriends, thinking they'd loose easily. To be honest, it's one of the reasons why Nick built the A.R.C. System in the first place, besides allowing the other students to have the chance to fight against a mass variety of opponents none of them have ever seen or heard of before.
Glynda: "Next time, you may want to think a little harder before choosing an opponent."
Mercury: "I'll...be sure to do that. But in my defense...I wasn't expecting this guy to be the Kamen Rider of all people."
An alarm sounds, which jolts Blake, who had nodded off.
Glynda: (offscreen) "That is all for today. And remember, the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses."
As everyone leaves, Mercury stops beside Emerald.
Mercury: "Do me a favor, Emerald...if I pick a fight with someone who I think is weaker then me, but they turn out to be stronger then me, stop me before I make myself look like an idiot. Alright?"
Emerald: "Yeah, I can do that, Merc. However...you already make yourself look more of an idiot then Wukong."
Mercury just scowls at hearing this. Outside, Team SSSN (Sun) are standing at the entrance as Team NAAE (Unimaginable) and Team RWBY (Ruby) walk past. Sun notices Blake and runs after her.
Sun: (offscreen) "Hey, Blake! (grabs Blake by her shoulder.) You uh, doing okay?"
Blake: (shuts the book she is reading.) "I'm fine."
Sun: "So...I hear there's this dance going on this weekend...ah, sounds pretty lame, but you and me, I'm thinking, not as lame, huh?"
Blake: "What?"
Sun: "The dance! This weekend! You wanna go, or what?"
Blake: "Sun...I already have a boyfriend. And, I don't have time for a stupid dance. I thought you of all people would get that."
Blake walks away past her boyfriend and fellow girlfriends, as Sun sinks from his rejection.
Time Skip...
The scene shifts to Teams NAAE (Unimaginable) and RWBY (Ruby) in their dorm room. Blake is sitting with her arms crossed.
Blake: "You what?"
Ruby: "We want you to go to the dance."
Blake: "That's ridiculous."
Erza: "Don't say that Blake."
Yang: "Blake, we're worried about you. This investigation is starting to mess with your head."
Atalanta: "Indeed."
Weiss: (counts the facts on her fingers) "You can't sleep, you hardly eat, and to be honest, your grades have been suffering."
Blake: "You think I care about grades? (shrugs and then gestures out the window.) People's lives are at stake!"
Yang puts her hand on Blake's, and gently lowers it.
Yang: "We know, and we're all still trying to figure out what Torchwick and the Black Fang are up to."
Ruby: "Thanks to you, Atalanta and Sun, we know they're operating somewhere outside of southeast Vale."
Weiss: "And, the Schnee company records singled out Vale as the primary target for Dust robberies over the last few months."
Yang: "Don't forget about the missing military tech too."
Blake: "But there's still unanswered questions!"
Nick: "There's always unanswered questions."
Ruby: "Blake, you won't be able to find anything if you can't even keep your eyes open!"
Yang: "All we're asking is that you take it easy for one day."
Weiss: "It will be fun! Yang and I will make sure of it."
Yang: "Yeah! We're planning the whole event!"
Yang pumps her fists which causes the bed to bounce Blake.
Blake: "Excuse me?"
Weiss: "Team CFVY (Coffee)'s away mission lasted longer than expected."
Yang: "So, Weiss and I were asked to pick up where they left off. And now we can make sure you have the perfect night."
Weiss: "And once it's all over, we'll return for our search, rested and ready."
Ruby: "So what do ya think?"
Blake: "...I think this is a colossal waste of time."
Blake walks away from the group and opens the dorm door.
Blake: "I'll be in the library."
She then walks out of the room.
Yang: "Great."
Weiss: "She can't keep going on like this."
Time Skip...
That night, Pyrrha and Jaune are sparring at their spot on the roof. Jaune appears to gain the upper hand until Pyrrha sweeps his legs out from under him.
Pyrrha: (laughing) "Well done! Your swordplay's improved immensely."
Pyrrha helps Jaune to his feet.
Jaune: "I couldn't have done it without you."
Pyrrha: "So, are you ready to move on to a different lesson?"
Jaune: "I'm actually thinking maybe I might go on a jog or something."
Pyrrha: "Come on, you know you must keep training."
Jaune: "That's not it. It's just... (hesitates) It's dumb."
Pyrrha: "What is it? (approaches Jaune and places her hand on his shoulder.) Jaune, you know you can tell me about anything."
Jaune: "It's...about the dance."
Pyrrha: "What about the dance?"
Jaune: "Well...there's someone I wanna ask to the dance."
Pyrrha: (face falls slightly) "Oh. There is?"
Jaune: "Yeah, I wanna ask her to the dance, but... (giggles halfheartedly) I think she'll just shoot me down?"
Pyrrha: "Well, I believe the saying goes: There's...plenty of fish in the sea."
Jaune: "That's easy for you to say. You're probably get tons of guys clamoring over each other just to ask you out."
Pyrrha: (chuckles half-heartedly) "We both know that's not happening..."
Jaune simply dismisses the thought.
Jaune: "Oh please. If you don't get a date to the dance, then most of the guys here are blind. Heh. I'm confident that someone at this school will ask you to be their date to the dance."
Jaune then walks away, as Pyrrha drops her smile and looks rather upset. The scene then shifts to Cinder in her dorm room, sewing a black dress as she sits on one of the beds. Emerald is sitting on another bed across from Cinder's while looking at her Scroll, and Mercury is lying on a different bed behind Emerald and reading a comic book.
Emerald: "And finally, Nick Brown."
Cinder: "Ah yes, the Kamen Rider."
Mercury: "I still feel like an idiot for picking a fight with him, and underestimating him. Even if I didn't know who he was until he summoned that weird suit."
Cinder: "Do tell."
Emerald: "His Semblance is called "Conjuration". And it's really powerful."
Cinder: "How so, Emerald?"
Emerald: "His Semblance allows him to create anything he can visuallize in his mind. With there barely being any limits to what he can create. He can make food, clothes, weapons, living beings, even Semblances. This allows him to give both himself, and others the ability to use multiple Semblances at once. And the fact that he's the Kamen Rider shows that he's not someone to drop your guard around in a fight."
Mercury: (groans) "Okay, I get it...I screwed up. I picked a fight with someone I thought was weak, but they turned out to be a mega powerhouse."
Cinder: "Perhaps this is a way to teach you not to drop your guard when in battle, Mercury. Same with how you should never underestimate your opponent."
Emerald: "Yeah, dude. Plus, when he creates something, he only needs to know what he wants something he's creating to look like, and what he wants it to do. He doesn't even need to understand how it's made, or how his creations work. His Semblance is crazy overpowered."
Cinder: "Hmm...so the secret of the Kamen Rider's unrivaled power comes from his imagination and creativity alone. Interesting. I can see why he's so powerful. Do we have a strategy to counter that if we face his team in the tournament?"
Emerald: "Can't really think of a way to counter a guy who can, literally, bring his imagination to life, plus is the first Huntsman in history, and the greatest warrior on the planet. That makes him not only powerful...but he's unpredictable, and, overall, unstoppable. If you ask me, we're better off hopping we never have to fight him and his team in the tournament at all."
Cinder: "Well, if we do end up facing the Kamen Rider and his team, we will fight to the best of our abilities. It's the least we can do to respect the strongest being on the planet. Especially as a way to show gratitude for what he's done for the people of the world. And, we'll do it, as a team. Speaking of...where's Neo? She hasn't come back yet."
Emerald: "She said she was going to get some ice cream."
Cinder: (sighs) "I keep telling Neo that she needs to ease up on the ice cream. I'm not gonna stop her from eating a food she loves...but would it kill that girl to at least, sometimes, eat a salad, or anything more healthy whenever she's going to get a snack? Anyways...what do you think of this so far, Emerald?"
Cinder then stands up, showing Emerald the black dress she's working on.
Emerald: "It totally suits you, Cin. But...it could definitely use some flames."
Cinder: (gives Emerald a "really?" look) "Seriously, Em? Flames?"
Emerald: (stands up) "Oh, come on, sis. Flames are, totally, your thing. Any clothes with flames on them look amazing on you."
Cinder: (sighs, and warmly smiles at Emerald) "Honestly...what am I going to do with you?"
Mercury: "Well...you could tell her to stop calling you her "sister". You two aren't even blood related. You're both just adopted."
Cinder: "Mercury, we've been over this. Just because me and Emerald are not related by blood, and are adopted by the same man, doesn't mean we're not sisters by bond."
Emerald: "And, besides, all four of us are orphans, Mercury. It's one of the reasons why we get along so well together."
Mercury: "Whatever..."
Cinder: "Moving on...we should look forward to the fun weekend ahead of us."
